[RECOMMENDATION] If you want a romance that is quick, fun, and oh so cute! You'll love Sarah Adams.

[SYNOPSIS] She's the small town sweetheart, and he's the emotionally unavailable bad boy. (Do you need more? Fine... if you do >) Annie wants to find someone who fits into her peaceful little life, running a local flower shop! However small town means... small dating pool. After a recent date calls her "boring", she decides she's the problem. "Hi, I'm the problem, it's me!" Well problems need solutions, and Annie's solution is a little *practice*. And who better to practice with than someone who she'd never fall in love with?! Will is hot, tattooed, and only in town temporarily. He wants zero attachments to this sleepy little town, and although he has no desire to help Annie change (he thinks she is fine the way she is), he can't help but say yes. Enter: fake dating, steamy practice dates, intense chemistry, blurred lines, and kicking your feet giggling moments

[REVIEW] This romance is my bread and butter. I always eat up what Sarah Adams writes, it's so much fun - and exactly what I am looking for! She kills it with the chemistry, and I love me some fake dating scenarios.

**This e-book was gifted to me from Ballantine Dell Books, and Netgalley, thank you! All opinions are my own.

This was my least favorite by Sarah Adams. It was a cute story, but her other tropes have been better executed. The characters just were not very exciting to me so I didn't see myself caring about their future.

After loving The Rule Book recently, I had to go back and finally read this one! I thought it was the sweetest romance and if I had known Annie was a socially awkward introvert, I would’ve read it sooner! I absolutely swooned over Will and together these two opposites had great chemistry, especially with the dual POV which I love! I also liked that it gave an inkling of whose story is next in this series.

Another enjoyable read by Sarah Adams, who is an author I generally really like, but rarely love. This was one of the best books so far.. I enjoyed the romance between the two main characters. Definitely recommend if you enjoy this author or this genre.

Will and Annie deserve the world! And I didn't think I could love a Sarah Adam's book more than I love The Cheat Sheet, but Practice Makes Perfect came along and stole the first place spot in my heart's ranking.

This warm hug in the shape of a book came to me when I was really in need of a light, fun read. It had everything I needed to forget about the outside world and immerse myself completely in Rome, Kentucky. The small town charm, the fun practice dates between inexperienced sweet florist Annie and hot, tattooed bodyguard Will, the meddling towns people that love each other like family... And also so much heart as they both navigated their insecurities, familial expectations, and opening up to love.

I wanted to like this so much more, especially because of how much I enjoyed When In Rome :( There were lots of good parts, but they didn't mesh well and felt a little disjointed. Will definitely pick up future Sarah Adams books though, because I love how she writes her characters!

I really like Sarah Adams novels. They are quick, cute reads. I didn't realize this was a sequel when I requested it. Now I want to go back and read the first one. Thank you Netgalley and Random House Publishing Group for the opportunity to read this book. Will gladly share it as a fun read to some of the people I know.

I hesitated to read this once I found out it was fade to black, but the characters were so entertaining and the sexual tension and chemistry between Will and Annie was still so palpable that in the end not only did I not mind the lack of spice, I’m going to go back and read book one and I hope we get books for the other siblings!

This book was just so fun and sweet! I read it at a time where I really didn’t want to deal with angst, so it hit just right. I adored getting to see deeper into Annie’s world and perspectives. She has a solid combination of ambition and innocence that works really well. Will is, of course, mysterious, broody, and charismatic. The combination of the two of them worked quite well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Receiving an advanced copy was a delightful surprise. I believe both existing fans and newcomers will find it equally enjoyable.

This is hands down tied for my favorite Sarah Adams book (right up there with The Cheat Sheet). I loved every minute of this book. Annie and Will were absolute perfection together. The banter and the flirting was top tier. This is probably one of my favorite RomCom's of all time. Would read this over and over again!

I wouldn't usually enjoy a closed door romance, but Sarah Adams is so good at building the chemistry between her leads that I didn't feel like it was missing anything! Perfect pacing for a slow burn, friends to lovers rom com.

I adored When in Rome by @authorsarahadams in 2022 and I was so excited to see there was a sequel out. Practice Makes Perfect follows Noah’s youngest sister Annie and her quest to find a husband. One night out, while on the worst date ever, Annie spots her crush Will back in town. He is the bodyguard for her famous pop singer future Sister-in-Law and he’s tall, tattooed and handsome. She’s far too shy and sweet for someone like Will Griffin.

Except they say opposites attract and that’s exactly what happens here. After Amelia asks Will to help Annie with her dating life, Annie is mortified, but secretly pleased that he agrees. Their first “lesson” gives her butterflies and he feels a spark too. As they get closer, the town notices and begins a petition to keep this outsider away from their Sweet Annie. Although maybe she doesn’t want to be so sweet anymore…

I loved it! They were the perfect mix of hard and soft together. They both had parental issues; hers was that they passed too young and his had a toxic marriage and took it out on Will. They both recognized they had these shortfalls and were able to help each grow past these hang ups. Rome is the cutest small town and I loved all the town gossips and nosey neighbors. I really hope we get a 3rd book soon!

"When in Rome" was a pleasant surprise for me in 2022, and I really enjoyed "Practice Makes Perfect". While I do generally enjoy small-town, closed-door romances, sometimes they end up feeling a bit too cutesy and cheesy for me, but I feel like Adams has found a sweet spot in this series. The chemistry between Annie and Will was great, but I also really love the family dynamics we get with Annie's family.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book! From the start I was instantly hooked. This was a cute easy romcom read with clean romance that I’d recommend to all rom com lovers

I unexpectedly liked this one! Very sweet, and it also made me laugh. When first starting, I wasn't sure that this would be my cup of tea but I grew to really like the main characters. By the end of the book, I was rooting for them both. I found Annie and Will to be super relate-able and it was nice to see them work through their issues both alone and together. Dialogue felt a bit corny sometimes, but it was still a fun, easy read. A good palette cleanser book for sure, especially with Valentine's Day coming up.

I unexpectedly really enjoyed this one! It was sweet and touching, and also made me laugh quite a few times. I also liked that it was closed door, though I readily admit that isn't everyone's cup of tea! At the beginning, I was unsure that I would like either of the main characters, but they both grew on me, and I was rooting for them by the end. I think both Annie and Will have stories that many people can relate to. I liked seeing them work through their issues both alone and together. My only complaint was that the dialogue could feel a bit corny sometimes, but that won't stop me from reading more Sarah Adams. I would definitely recommend this to patrons, especially with Valentine's Day coming up!
