Such a lovely read! It’s a cute and quick romance story.
The vet element was great and fake dating and forced proximity is definitely always a win.

I loved how the author wrote all the characters. You‘re so clearly supposed to dislike some of them and it 100% worked.

I really enjoyed this book and can only recommend it.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an earc

I loved this book and the veterinarian tie-in. Who doesn't love a sexy veterinarian? This was a great and quick read and I'll be reading more of Zoe in the future.

The plot was fun and I am always a sucker for a good enemies to lovers/fake dating schtick. It was a pretty quick and easy read and definitely a good palette cleanser. With that being said, I didn't love reading about the toxic workplace :/

I really wanted to like this book as the cover was totally adorable but unfortunately the story fell flat for me. This is not to say that it is a bad book, and perhaps, i might pick it up again in the future. I'm sure many will enjoy it!

I’m sure that this is a good read for the intended audience but I don’t think that I am/was the intended audience. It has a cute premise though!!

Ugh I wanted to love this! I am a huge animal fan and wanted to go into veterinary medicine.

However it was slow paced in the beginning with a cast of odd and unlikeable characters.

It never gained any footing for me. The toxic workplace and family relationships was frustrating.

I did love the setting and the women in a science field. Also the enemies to lovers and second chance romance.

I was hooked on Doc Showmance the moment I read that summary. Well, actually that is not quite true I was hooked when I learned the author was Zoe Forward as I have read books by her before and loved them. Although Doc Showmance does not fall under my normal genre there are some authors that the genre doesn’t matter and Zoe is one of those authors.

That summary pulled me in fast. When I read it I thought I knew what to expect going in but boy was I wrong. What I found between the pages of Doc Showmance was somewhat different than I expected. Don’t get me wrong as it was way better than I ever thought it was going to be. I am so glad that I read it. I would love to read more about Amber, Ian, and all of Amber’s brothers and sisters.

Doc Showmance was one of those slow-to-build books that drew you in more and more with each turn of the page. I loved that it was about a veterinarian reality TV show. I also loved that there was a real-life veterinarian hospital. I would love to see a real TV show like this on the big screen. Yeah, I would love to see Amber and Ian’s story made into a TV show for reals.

Amber and Ian met in veterinarian school. Ian pulled a prank on Amber for an online podcast show. Amber has hated his guts ever since. Then one day Ian shows up at the veterinarian hospital where she works as a new employee.

After seeing all the sparks that are flying between Amber and Ian the TV reality people set Amber and Ian up in a relationship on the show to up their ratings. Amber wants nothing to do with Ian much less have to kiss him on TV. But she needs the extra money that the show provides for her. Amber’s brother gambles and owes a lot of money to a loan shark.

I enjoyed reading Doc Showmance very much and highly recommend it to all romantic comedy fans! Grab your copy of Doc Showmance today!

Forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and fake dating - sign. me. up. Oh wait, I did sign up for this one! ;) such a cute read that was quick and easy. The banter between our MMC, Ian, and FMC, Amber, was great, the love they develop throughout the story didn’t feel forced, and the idea it was set in a veterinarian’s office as a tv show set was a great plot point! One thing I could not stand is how Ian reacted to some things - in my personal life, I cannot STAND the “calm down” line and saw it in the story and immediately cringed. Otherwise, it was well written and the plot was fun! Thanks for the opportunity to read!

I couldn't get into this book. The characters weren't very well developed and I kept getting confused on who was who. DNF about halfway through.

This book had me laughing out loud like a maniac. I swear my husband just kept looking at me as if I was the crazy one, he doesn't even read. Now that is crazy. The tension between these two is amazing. I loved it.

I just love these little rom-com-type books so much! I was initially interested because of the dog, of course. But the book turned out to be really good and I can't wait to look for more books by Zoe!

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

Doc Showmance… WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN? This book was such a fun read. I enjoyed every minute of it and couldn’t put it down. I don’t know why it took me this long to read it but I’m obsessed. I love the two main characters. The producer I couldn’t stand. I love the different family dynamics Amber and Ian had and the different backgrounds they came from. Such a good book. Everyone needs to read this Veterinarian romance novel. 10/10

Another cheesy RomCom that might hit the spot for those who enjoy a quick read, but it fell flat for me because I disliked the main characters so much (mostly Ian). There are a few minor plot holes, so that doesn't help, but I also felt like the entire book was just missing something.

Thank you to Netgalley & Publishers for access to an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Vet based romances are way too cute, I've decided. Just like this cover! I loved the fake dating and kind of second chance aspect of this as well. Quite funny too. I didn't love Ian as much as I hoped, but maybe that's a me thing.

I wasn't able to get into this Rom Com. The story felt forced and I didn't find the characters interesting. I ended up DNFing it

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

This was a cute and fun read. Very lighthearted and easy flowing. This would make a great show and/or movie. I would also love to see this author expand out on a few books with the common theme of vet romance. If you love books with animals, vets and romance, this would be the book for you! I would recommend picking up today.
