This book is a little young for my readers, but would make a precious board book to read to the smallest literature lovers in the family as a special birthday tradition. It is short and sweet and wholesome.

Short and sweet, this charming little book will delight new parents as they welcome their little one into the world and celebrate a one-year birthday.

The rhyming text is lyrical and sweet. Beautiful color illustrations complement brief, easy to read lines marking important milestones in baby's first year. Delightful!

This would be a cute baby gift. How the book is worded it only seems relevant for the babies first year, I was hoping for a birthday book to read for many years as a tradition. I did like the section in the back to record milestones and birthday wishes.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Amplify Publishing for this title. All opinions are my own.

I love the soft expressive illustrations. They are engaging and relatable to a wee one. The rhyming text is a celebration of a precious newborn that is welcomed with anticipation and joy into a family.

The sweet book is short and portrays how a baby grows and develops. It would be a perfect gift for a baby shower, expecting parent or a baptism.

I love that all the proceeds from "The Birthday Books" support Alex's Lemonade Stand to raise awareness, funds, and assistance for children and families affected by childhood cancer. The author has included a segment that allows a parent to record memories and wishes for her child at the end of the book. I highly, highly recommend this book.

The Birthday Books (the title could use some work imo) is a sweet letter to someone celebrating their first birthday. With its simple rhyme and soft illustrations, it reminded me of some more old fashioned children’s books. I could see this being a good gift from grandparents or other relatives.

Thanks NetGalley and Amplify Publishing for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I love the illustration, which depicts a newborn baby and how the birth is anticipated with joy and hope that the baby will grow up well.

The drawings are engaging. The book is poetic. Telling of all the steps and things that happen in the first year of childhood. the book also has a part that allows the mother to put memories, and wishes for their child. Its a good resource for mothers to show their ideas of the first year of their child.

Its a nice idea for a gift for someone but i felt the graphics were quite outdated. I did however like the space at the back to include milestones and memories

A cute little precursor to birth. The chosen points are what most parents think.

The illustrations are soft and reads to me like an infant whispered lullaby.

I see this as a shower gift and a grandparent gift.

This is a short, sweet book about a baby who grows and develops. The accompanying illustrations here are gentle and engaging. A young child may enjoy this story that showcases babyhood. An extra of the book is pages for writing birthday memories and wishes.

Cute story for a baby on their birthday about how they grow. Space to write memories at the end. Lively illustrations fitting the story well.

Extremely cute take on a birthday

It's clearly meant for someone who is either a toddler or someone who cannot understand words yet. The complexity of the book is beyond what small children should be consuming.
