This is a fantastic grumpy sunshine hockey romance. I look forward to reading the next installment in this series.

This was a cute read. Loved the dynamic between Stassi and Nathan. I wish I could find a guy as emotionally mature as him. It handled complex issues with grace. Really enjoyed this fun romance.

I LOVED this book! I fell in love with the characters! Nate and Stassie were so likeable, and I loved watching their romance bloom. It has a fun plotline with some spice that kept me reading until the end. Hannah totally set us up for the next book, and I can't wait! Thank you to Hannah Grace, the publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this advance copy with me in exchange for my honest review!

Loved, loved, loved! You know it's a great book when you finish it, then immediately itch to pick up the next in the series. I loved this book so much, the characters were fun and charmingly NA, and the spicy scenes brought all the hotness. 5 stars!

Enemies to Lovers troupe at its best. Hannah Grace scored a goal with Icebreaker with her fiery figure skater and her broody hockey player. I could not put this book down. I especially enjoyed the found family of the hockey players. What is next?

Thanks for the advanced copy.

This was 13.5 hours long because they threw literally everything into this book. It was insane. She falls through the ice and almost dies. Her partner is a nightmare (who never had to really get in trouble???? Somehow????). There’s a micro break up of sorts. It felt like this could have been simplified in so many ways.

Also, their friend seemed ultra creepy about his friendship with her.

ALSO ALSO, one of the things I CANNOT get out of my brain is Stassi saying she "didn't remember getting this easily irritated even ten years ago." Babe, you were 11. OF COURSE NOT.

This could have been shortened and not had everything but the kitchen sink.

I loved this book! I feel like it was very different when you think of most contemporary romances with it being set at a college and with younger protagonists and I think that worked really well! I enjoyed that both main characters were athletes and I liked the friendships touched upon in the book as well. Definitely a book that other sports romances will be compared to.

Um no, just no. This book was so cringey. The characters act more like teenagers then they do 20 somethings. They say one thing then do another. The plot, if I can even call it that, is so ridiculous. This was difficult to finish.

Was this the best written novel of all time? No. Did I absolutely love it anyway? Yes! I'm not usually a huge fan of smutty scenes just because but I DEVOURED this book. The characters really felt like I was watching/reading about my besties falling in love/skating/partying despite being fictional characters.

Things I liked:
Nate... Nate and oh yeah.. Nate. Super sweet, tall, handsome, puts everyone else before himself and willing to make any sacrifices he needs to for his family. (By family I mean friend group family.)
Puckbunnies group chat.
Uber Slut chat.
The found family--family is what you make it not what you're born into.
The humor

Things I didn't like.
There were too many side characters which meant there was a lot going on.
Anastasia's attitude towards everyone all the time. We get she wants to go to the Olympics but at what cost? Your friends? Family?
Aaron--the worst.

I literally laughed out loud at parts of this book. We NEED a Henry book. I will for sure be reading more by Hannah Grace though.

Hot & cold, sweet & spicy: icebreaker was such a great time!

I loved that this book didn’t feature a third-act breakup and instead focused on each person going through personal and mental health challenges and growing together.

What do I love more than a wife guy? A wife guy whose entire hockey team is basically the backup wife guy. There was no real jealousy between them (WHICH IS AMAZING) and only a lot of support and love for the couple and their relationship. Absolutely loved it, and the cover is adorable.

What a fun read!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I enjoyed it a lot more then I thought I would! I really enjoyed the layout and flow of this book. Author did a great job telling this story.

If you enjoy authors like Tessa Bailey and Elle Kennedy, definitely check out this book!

This one started off a little clunky for me, but pulled through in the end. I really hope Henry is the next story- he’s my fave.

Loved. The perfect sports romance that combined not only the best level of spice and relationship-building, but also real issue that faced the characters.

Such a fun read! I definitely think there need to be more books that take place during college, and I loved seeing a strong protagonist.

Icebreaker was an adorable hockey romance. I really loved that both characters were ice skaters and felt that it handled difficult topics like nutrition and emotional abuse well. The author was able to incorporate real life challenges and still keep it a fun romance. I can’t wait to read what else she comes up with in this series!

Is there a plot to "Icebreaker?" No, but I am here for it regardless.
Nate is the captain of the hockey team and Anastasia is a figure skater. Their paths rarely cross at their California college until an issue with one of the ice rinks forces the two teams to share. The pair soon find themselves forced to work together.
The premise sounds simple, but it's so much more than that. I didn't expect a lot from this book going into it, especially considering its BookTok fame. It was actually a bit of a rocky start for me. It took me quite some time to really get into it. That all changed once I hit the 30% mark. "Icebreaker" has that kind of ambling plotline that really allows the reader to grow and develop with Nate and Stassie. It's cute, swoon-worthy, spicy and truly the epitome of a comfort read.
Thank you to the author, NetGalley and Atria for sharing this advance copy with me in exchange for my honest review.

The book follows Anastasia and Nate, who both attend the Maple Hills campus in California.
Anastasia is a figure skater who is determined to go on to a competitive skating team and hopefully win the Olympics one day. She does not have time for stupidity (of the hockey team) or a relationship. But all of that changes when Anastasia, and all figure skaters, are forced to share their rink with the hockey team.
Anastasia is adamant that she can't stand Nate, but when he is the only one who can help her practice, she has no choice but to skate onwards. As her life becomes more toxic, she starts to rely on Nate and his hockey family more and more. But that totally doesn't mean that she's falling for him. She won't let her break her icy exterior... or her heart..right?

Adored this book and have read it at least 3 times now! I feel like this is the perfect gateway book into hockey romances!

I totally understand the hype around this book. I couldn’t put it down and I constantly wanted more of Anastasia and Nathan’s infectious relationship! Hannah Grace understood the assignment!

Anastasia is a junior at UCMH, and her life revolves around skating. She and her partner, Aaron, are preparing to qualify for Nationals later that year. Aaron can be a bit overbearing and moody but that all blows up when Stassie falls into a situationship with captain of the hockey team, Nathan Hawkins.
Nate is everything Stassie claims to hate, and everything she says she doesn’t want yet their connection is undeniable and eventually they give in to what must be. And let me say, THANK GOD that they do. This book had me swooning page after page and I couldn’t get enough of it.

I cannot wait for Wildfire and the rest of the UCMH series!
