"Get Rich" - Get this book! Read this series!! Wow. This a great new series - great new legal thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Colorful characters. Great story line. Fast-paced, action packed. Well-written. This is a must read for 2023.

Definitely recommend you start with the first book for the backstory. It's important to understand the development of the characters.

Thank you #netgalley and #thomasandmercer for the eARC.

OMG - I'm so loving this Jason Rich series. I really enjoyed the first book and was excited to see this one come up for me to read.
It's time for another case for Jason Rich - one that will turn everything upside down. I was floored when we got to see a friend from another Robert Bailey enter the storyline. LOVED it.

If you enjoyed any of Robert Bailey's other books you will enjoy this one for sure.

Plus, this book like the first in the series, is based in a neighboring county. And I know several of the locations mentioned. That made it so much better.

Jason Rich is back with all of his friends, colleagues, enemies, demons, and other baggage. He’s being blackmailed into defending a cop killer and he finds his hands tied by to many people who want him to fail. Ever a pleaser, he finds that he can’t make everyone happy as he tries another unwinnable case against the same DA he faced in the first book of this excellent series.

This book was amazing from start to finish, It was a page turner, I love that the author writes about local places in Alabama that you know. This was Robert Bailey's best book yet.

This is local author, Robert Bailey's, second Jason Rich story. Jason Rich, you might remember is successful billboard lawyer from Guntersville, Al. In book one he gets his sister off on a murder charge only to have her die once she gets out of jail. We now find Jason, guardian of his two nieces, still in Guntersville practicing law. But things are about to get complicated. Jason wants to take down Sand Mountain's local meth dealer before he has the chance to kill again. But can he turn to the police? Could there be a mole in the department? Oh and his long time friend and current girlfriend is MIA. His niece hate him and refuses to go to school. Jason is working very hard to stay sober and keep everyone alive. And there is a special guest appearance of The Bocephus Hanes.

I received an ARC of this second book in the author's Jason Rich series through NetGalley.

I have liked several of this author's pervious works, rating two of his books 5-stars and the first Jason Rich novel (Rich Blood) 4-stars. This novel, while still good, did not measure up to Rich Blood.

There were a lot of characters in Rich Waters and almost every single one of them had extreme issues, causing me to unable to see the plot as realistic. The pace was great and plenty of action kept me entertained. And the story was interrupted to allow the author to cement ambulance-chasing attorney Jason Rich as an eccentric with an affinity for pro wrestling and hard rock music.

In this story, Jason Rich takes on the defense of a former high school football star accused of murdering a policeman, one of his former teammates. Rich is not normally a defense attorney, but is coerced into taking this case on. The defendant is suffering from addictions, after losing out on his athletic career due to injury. Many of the characters in this book are drug addicts and/or illegal drug merchants.

This was an ARC, and I couldn't help but think that further editing could improve this book, tightening it up, removing rough edges.

Robert Bailey is an emerging treasure. All of his books are beautifully written, well plotted and feature memorable characters. They are impossible to put down.

This, the second in the Jason Rich series is no exception and I inhaled it in a couple of sittings. The drama and tension were relentless ad the result was in doubt until the last page.

Hopefully there is far more to come in this wonderful series.

The Jason Rich saga continues, this time with blackmail coming at all sides that puts everyone he loves at risk. The writing is fast paced, the characters fleshed out, and the plot is excellent. It kept me guessing until the very end. A great MC and series. I’m so glad I discovered it!

This is the 2nd book featuring Jason Rich and it was excellent as has been every book that Robert Bailey has written, This legal thriller is easy to get into and as the story unfolds only gets better,
Set in Alabama attorney Jason Rich is asked to defend the accused an ex football star who is arrested for killing a policeman under questionable circumstances by the local drug dealer. His daughter and ex girlfriend are both drug users and he feels he must defend Trey to them from being harmed or killed.
A lot of courtroom drama and sub stories make this book a winner. I highly recommend this book as all other books by this author.

I have read other books by Robert Bailey and as I fully expected, this one was excellent. This is the second book featuring Jason Rich and his law firm. I do recommend that Rich Blood be read first, as the background from that story is important to this story. Like I said, I enjoy Mr. Bailey’s work and I couldn’t read this one fast enough. Thank you to the publisher and Net Galley for the advance copy.
