As a HUGE fan of this artist and a big follower of their cartoons/comics, thrilled to have been given a chance to review their comic collection!

They genuinely capture giddiness, shenanigans and love of Halloween, which I also love, and it's fun to see my partner and I are similar to them; it feels like you share moments and pretend that it is your moments drawn to life. Although their comics also have venerable moments about mental health while they also poke fun sometimes, I believe the mixture of seriousness and pleasure has always been respectful and appreciated by me.

In the end, this is a laugh-out-loud (and the right emojis this time, not like the comic with her mum, lol) and wholesome. I highly recommend this book and hope others can add it to their selves or TBR's for a good pick-me-up comic collection.

A cute and fun comic collection by Meg Adams. There's not a storyline throughout, but a bunch of individual pieces that work well collectively.

I enjoyed this and would definitely look for more work from this author in the future.

Meg Adams, author and illustrator of the popular ArtbyMoga comics, has compiled some of her best known work into one collection. Her work portrays everyday life in a quirky but relatable way. I love the style of her illustrations, especially the way in which she draws facial expressions. While most of her topics are lighthearted she does also cover a few more serious subjects such as anxiety and depression.

I like collections like this that flow but don't have a full storyline. The comics are each a single page and can be read individually. Readers can also read through the whole book in one laugh inducing sitting like I did.

I have followed Meg Adams and ArtbyMoga for years and I am delighted to see some of my favorite of her comics included in this volume. I hope that there will be additional collections in the future.

#WhyAReYouLikeThis @artbymoga today. The comics and conversation between Meg and Carson are hilarious because it reminds me of my husband and I and because its oh so real.

"Be kinder to myself" is also a resolution for me this year. And I think my younger does deserve that love and compassion. I also identify myself secretly (shhhh!) as a "snack" and indeed that first wash after a cut is the best (hey my head feels lighter!).

First of all, a confession: I have always referred to Meg Adams by her online name, @Artbymoga, and it feels weird to change to her real name for this review. I promise I will try my best.

Second of all, this may sound strange but… is Meg Adams… me? Am I Meg Adams? Wait, hear me out, let’s compare for a second:
We are both overthinkers; a ceramic Halloween pumpkin is staring right at me while I write this; I am also part of the group that is lactose intolerant but decides how to face each battle depending on hunger, plans or whether I will be able to rest the next morning; my boyfriend cannot physically stop himself when he is telling one bad joke after the other, …
Nah, I am just kidding, I know I am not Meg Adams because I hate Christmas carols all year round and not only after hearing them non-stop during Christmas season, and I have two cats instead of two dogs. But she is so relatable! I was nodding after each strip, saying ‘that is me’ with a laugh when things were funny, mumbling ‘that is me’ with sorrow when she started throwing truth bomb after truth bomb to my face. I am that little child I would not hurt, my self-care should be what I need and not what I want; I act different if I was the one who made the mistake or if it was someone else.
The eternal cycle of New Year’s resolution hit especially hard because of the proximity of the date.

I could go on and on, but I don’t want to describe each and every single strip in this amazing collection. The art is adorable, by the way, with very exaggerated face expressions and the cuddliest dogs ever, but I think it is superb when she puts little details here and there, like the stretch marks or the chaffing in her thigs.
A funny, intelligent, relatable collection of strips with the perfect mix of depth and heart; that is how I would describe Why are You Like this? by Meg Adams. I hope she never stops sharing her story with us readers.

This book was adorable. Their relationship was so cute, and I loved the art style, how sometimes it would be more exaggerated and cartoonish than others. I highly recommend this to everybody. i love these kinds of books, drawn and written about someone's relationship with their partner.

Cute, fun comics about the author's every day life. I really like her art style. The comics themselves remind me of Sarah's Scribbles.

Thank you for the EArc NetGalley and McMeel Publishing. After I was finally able to figure out how to read this format on my iPad I enjoyed the quick read of this book. The characters are relatable and I love how they are drawn in a “real” way. The topics don’t flow but it is a comic and I don’t know if it’s fair to complain about that. I especially appreciated all the love for the fall season. Really cute book.

Short, funny, relatable collection of comics with beautiful artwork. These are the types of comics I would share on my instagram stories because they are only a few panels and you don't have to swipe through multiple slides to read the full comic/get the full effect. However, because it was in book (or downloadable pdf in this case), I would personally have enjoyed a handful of longer panels strewn throughout. Overall, cute and enjoyable!

Such a fun and relatable read! Really quick read, perfect if you wanna have a good time, and some laughs. I loved it and instantly went to follow the artist after finishing the book!

I've seen lots of ArtbyMoga comics online and really enjoyed them. Personally, I would say I preferred coming across one or two at a time rather than reading a whole book in one go, but the book is still a fun read. It would make a good gift for a fan of the artist or of short, funny cartoon strips.

This is an amusing look at every day life that was relatable and humorous. I follow Meg (ArtByMoga) on several social media platforms and enjoyed getting to read her comics together in one place.

The art in this was super cute. Not my favorite graphic novel or comic but I’m not mad that I read it.

This was a delight! This comic is several slice of life snippets that mostly made me laugh and go same. I particularly liked the ones the focused on Halloween and mental health. I also really related to the allergies, sunburns, and dog antics. The parallel play panels made me smile. This is definitely one I'll be preordering!

This was a wonderful graphic novel that could have been a compilation of millennial memes! I loved all of them. Meg Adams does a great job of capturing everything millennials go through on a daily basis; all of the conflict within all of the season and they expose all of it with hilarity! A wonderful graphic novel that I would love to use as a coffee table book and bring out at parties!

this books is so cute and shows the expectations and reality of being in a relationship. i absolutely love how she embraces the small things and loves herself and encourages others to love themselves as well. cute and sweet but so real and i feel seen reading this

Ooohhhh it's like someone was in my kind and put it all into a graphic novel. I love it - witty and clever and accurate and funny and *chef's kiss* perfection.

This graphic novel is enjoyable and relatable. Despite of not having a clear storyline, every panel has its own story and as a millennial I can relate with most of those anecdotes. Very humorous, mundane, quick read, and I highly recommend it someone needs a light read to have fun about the most trivial things in life.

This book is a collection of comics by the same artist. They are organized by season, They follow the artist, her partner, and their two dogs in their everyday life.
I love reading Meg's comics normally, so having a collection of them was wonderful. I could not help but read the entire book in one go.
This is a perfect book for anyone who likes Meg's art or slice-of-life comics.
