I love Jo Chambliss's books every book that I have read so far, I have never before given one of her books a low rating. That being said I was very disappointed and let down by this book.
My biggest two problems with it were.
1: That this was supposed to be a romantic suspense but for me that means that the two people the book is supposed to be about needs to be working their way to being together not throwing them together at the 96% mark of the book!
2: I don't want to read a book where that one of the main characters is screwing someone else all throughout the story. I know that the main couple is not together at the time but for me I still feel as if it is cheating.
That being said the writing was great and the suspense/mystery was really good.
I had my thoughts on who it was, and I was glad that I was proven right.
All that being said I was still so angry after I read this, I could not stop ranting about it I had been waiting for so long to read about this couple. I am still in a little shock at how this was written.
I still love Jo Chambliss I just wish this story had not gone down the way it had.

There is so much going on with all the different charactors in this book, it takes you in all directions. Betrayals, lies, secrets and danger. Sadie is a great warrior, but clueless about the men who love her. It's sad how all this turns out for the men involved, except for one of them who is a traitor of the worst kind possible. Hang onto your seats for a heavy read you won’t be disappointed

Oh my word! What a great read for me! I loved the action, the intrigue and the romance. This is Aaron and Sadie’s story. The came out of rangers as best friends. They joined Knot together. But can they remain best friends when another catches Sadies eye. Will the loss of a teammate finish there friendship?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Knot Guilty by Jo Chambliss.
Sadie has seen and done it all as a badass Marine Raider and now top operative at Knot PMCs. She likes her regimented routine, that’s free of messy complications. Maxen, a former Delta Force soldier, crashes through all her neatly constructed walls, determined to rip off her blinders and show her what real passion is.
I really enjoyed this book. Twisty and gripping and tense. I certainly didn't see that coming. Loved Sadie character. But some characters I just didn't trust. 5*.

This is book one in The Knot PMC’s series and it is Sadie and Aaron’s story and omg what a great start to a new series and definitely a must read. Sadie and Aaron have been best friends for years after meeting at basic training as marine recruits but now they both work for Dillon Knot of Knot’s Organisation and they loved what they did even though at times it was difficult and dangerous. When Sadie was on a mission in the Philippines she was drugged, taken and beaten for a ransom and now she has demons that reared it head at times but in general she was strong, tough and a fighter. Aaron watched everything that happened to Sadie without being able to do anything until help arrived and he has never got over it or forgiven himself even though he couldn’t have done anything about it but because he is in love with Sadie and had been for years it hit him harder knowing that it changed both of there lives. There are twists and turns that you definitely didn’t see coming along with danger, betrayal, loss, suspense, drama and situations that had you on the edge of your seat while turning the pages wondering what would happen next and then a mission goes wrong and one of there own is killed along with many others causing complications but until they find out who betrayed them and why none of them are safe. I absolutely loved this book and the storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout the whole book as it was so addictive and a real page turner. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to read more books in the future.

Knot Guilty by Jo Chambliss is an engaging and fast-paced read. The author has done a great job creating a high-stakes plot centred around secrets, alliances and betrayal. The supporting characters complement the protagonist (Sadie) and the key players (Maxen, Aaron and Knox). However, the love/lust element for me was way too predictable, and I deciphered the bad guy almost halfway. Without giving too much away, the red flags were way too obvious, and the slow-burn romance between the protagonist and an essential character was sudden and left me wanting more. Sadie's past and trauma are fleshed out well even though, at times, her decisions and rationale appear to be naive. With that being said, this is an excellent start to the Knot PMC series, and I look forward to reading more work from this author.

Do not skip this one if you love romantic suspense, action-packed premises and an entertaining read to finish in one day. Thank you, NetGalley & Hover Press, for giving me an ARC. This honest review is left voluntarily.

My mind was blown! I read this book in one sitting on March 3rd. Today is March 12th and I am still knotted up with this book. I have read every book this author has written. They are all emotional but this one had detours, twists and so much more. I met Sadie and Aaron in her Waterproof Series (which I highly recommend). This book spun me around and dumped me on my head. My emotions were all over the place. I agree with most of the readers that the ending could have had a little more to it. The wrap up seemed short, but this books was so outstanding in other ways I could not lower the rating for that one item. I met Sadies family and want to know more about them, I hurt with Aaron as he went on the run trying to prove his honesty. Maxen.....I can't even. READ THE BOOK. Thank you for the arc. I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #KnotGuilty #knotPMCS #jochambliss #hoverpress #netgalley

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

I enjoyed the mystery behind this book however the love story was lacking something for me.

Sadie felt a little naive and oblivious to how others felt about her and some bad relationship decisions cause her much heartache.

This was an okay read for me but Sadie jumped into lust too quickly especially with her traumatic background.

Knot Guilty is book one in this new series by Jo Chambliss, what a wild ride it was. Sadie a former Marine Raider has become the top team member of Knot PMCs. Maxen is former Delta Force goes by "Smoke", when a mission goes wrong all eyes turn to Aaron Hosfeld, Sadie's best friend. He's blamed and charges of treason are brought against him. While he's trying to clear his name Sadie and Maxen get close and begin a relationship. This story goes from enemies to lovers to falling for your best friend. Lots of action, danger and suspense with romance thrown in. Loved this story what a great start to a new series can't wait for what's to come

Oh, my poor little heart! Jo Chambliss takes us for quite a ride on this one. It's hard to write a review without giving too much away, and trust me, you'll want to go into this one as blind as possible. Sophie and team work to clear the name of her best friend who is accused of treason. Throughout the struggle, poor Sophie has had her eyes opened to the people around her. She beats herself up for being a highly trained operative yet didn't see things that were right in front of her. I struggled with liking Sophie because she was at times too stubborn and closed off to having a relationship. But because of the talent of this author, that personality flaw was warranted. Love. Betrayal. Teamwork. Friendships. Suspense. Awesome fighting/action scenes. This one had it all.

Knot Guilty (Knot PMC Book 1)
By Jo Chambliss

First I have read all of the author's previous book series and loved them but this new series left me at times scratching my head and wanting more to the story.

Sadie is a great warrior former Air Force and now PMC with Knot Corp but when someone from her past comes back it will wreak havoc to everyone an there's a scramble to find the source and get them stopped before more harm happens.

Hopefully the next book will give you more of the story. All in all a great book and worthy of 4 stars in my rating.

Thank you Net Galley and Authors Collective 20 for the copy of the book and I leave my voluntary and honest review.

I received this ARC from NetGalley in return for a review.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. What a twisted storyline this was. Just when you think you knew what was going on, something different happens. I have to say I wasn’t a fan of the Sadie/Maxen pairing. It felt off and I believe the author succeeded in this part of the story. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

It’s been almost a week since I read this book and to be honest I still haven’t quite sorted out my feelings about it.

Positives
The story is exciting, drama and suspense filled and executed brilliantly. Another amazing world built by the author that I desperately want more of. Characters (both main and side) given enough depth to really grab you and engage you fully in the story.

I loved how Sadie was just herself down to her core. She was unapologetically tough and not just to be one of the boys, she was harder, better and badder than most. I loved how soft she was with her family though (need to hear more about those brothers I’m thinking….hint hint Ms Chambliss!) and that there were so many sides to her.

Downsides

It’s a me thing. It’s not the book, the author or the writing. It’s probably not even the trope but I just feel like this was so unfinished.
I didn’t like the story I don’t think. I don’t want to give spoilers but if you’ve read the authors previous works then you will no doubt have been shipping a certain 2 people. I feel like I got what I hope is a hfn and there is more to come. If this is the hea then I don’t feel like I got anything from this book for them as a couple to deserve that. I found the first 75% of the book hard going because it wasn’t what I wanted, then just when I’m bought in we switch change and in the last few chapters it’s all different then bam it’s over…

The truth is I still crave more, I want the next in series and if I don’t get more of a certain couple I’ll still enjoy everything this author delivers. For me this wasn’t IT but it’s honestly ME and my wants and needs. If that’s not the story the author envisioned and wrote it’s not her problem in the slightest…

As a series starter it’s explosive and immersive and a rollercoaster ride. Enjoy
