A decent, bingeable thriller. A very slow burn, but kept me invested enough to want to see how everything tied up at the end. Not a particularly memorable book, but one that kept me intrigued.

While this isn't the craziest thriller/mystery out there, it did keep my attention and I wanted to see what was going to happen. You won't get a big, outrageous twist but you will get an ending that does answer any question you'd have. While it wraps up nicely, I did think it was a little anticlimactic.

I did find that it was a quick read and moved at a good pace. I did enjoy reading this overall and would recommend it if you're looking for a quick thriller!

Julia and Sienna Larkin are not only sisters-in-law but also best friends, always being there for each other in their times of need. Jason, hoping to secure a promotion at work has been working around the clock…then his boss is found murdered.

A few days later, Jason is in an accident, put into an induced coma and the prime suspect in the murder investigation of his boss. In Sienna’s eyes, her brother is innocent, and she’ll do everything she can to clear his name. Julia uncovers some secrets and isn’t as sure of her husband’s innocence as his sister is. Julia and Sienna find their relationship threatened for the first time when they’re working to clear Jason’s name.

I enjoyed this novel and the turns it took to lead us to the one responsible for the death of Jason’s boss.

Julia and Sienna Larkin are sisters-in-law, connected by Julia’s husband and Sienna’s brother, Jason. More than that, the two are devoted best friends and business partners, believing that theirs is a uniquely unbreakable bond. To Sienna, her protective brother can do no wrong, and although Julia knows he’s not perfect, they’ve built a comfortable life and family together. Recently, Jason has been putting in long hours to secure a promotion at work, so when his boss is found brutally murdered—his lips sewn shut—the Larkins are shocked and unsettled, especially as local gossip swirls. A few days later, Julia and Sienna’s lives are upended when Jason gets into a car accident and is placed in a medically induced coma. Worse, the police arrive with news that he’s the prime suspect in the murder investigation. With Jason unable to respond—and with Julia and Sienna working to clear his name—the two women find their friendship threatened for the first time: Sienna staunchly maintains her brother’s innocence, but as their investigation uncovers a complicated web of secrets, Julia is less sure she’s willing to defend her husband.

This was not for me. The story was kinda slow and I couldn't connect with the characters at all. I was hoping for something different

I can’t say this was my favorite thriller but it did keep my attention for most of it. I personally am not a character driven reader, I like plot driven especially when I’m expecting a domestic thriller, but on the plus side the character were really well developed

Thank you Net Galley for the ARC of this book. It was the first book by Megan Collins I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Told in POVs of 2 sisters in laws that find out their brother/husband is in a coma after an accident. To make matters worse they find out he has been accused of murdering his boss and is the only suspect. They work together (and through some of their own personal issues) to figure out if the man they both love could be capable of murder. The book became a little stagnate in the middle but overall enjoyed it!

I wish I knew where to begin but simply this book truly grabbed my attention from the first chapter. So many little details were unraveling over and over and just when you thought you knew you ended up being wrong. It was such a fun book to read and an interesting showcase of how deep honesty and trust runs in family. I enjoyed reading it a lot

This was your average domestic thriller. It was hard to get into, but once I got 100 pages in, it picked up. Overall, just okay for me!

Thicker Than Water is a twisty domestic drama told in 2 voices in alternating chapters. I enjoyed the development of the characters and the surprising twist at the end. Fast paced and suspensful.

Thicker Than Water follows sister-in-laws who have a close bond and a business together. When their husband/brother gets into a bad accident, everything they thought about their relationships with him and their lives comes into question.

Told by alternating POV's, you get a deep look into the complexities of family dynamics, relationships, and how they can change instantly in times of trauma.

While I did enjoy this read, I figured out some of the twists fairly early on, which made the ending a little less satisfying than I would have liked. Regardless, Megan Collins is a good, reliable, go-to- author, who I recommend checking out.
