This was such a warm and great read about the art of breadmaking and sharing with friends and family. The illustrations were warm, rich and full of life. Different cultures were well-represented, and the story was sweet, and focused on the community and sharing aspect of breaking bread. The back matter includes a list and explanation of different kinds of bread and the culture they come from, as well as a couple of bread recipes so kids can work with an adult and give breadmaking a try.

What a cute story. The pictures are wonderful and make you feel like you are standing in the kitchen with the family. The recipes at the end were a great addition.

I love the way this book acknowledges that all cultures have their own version of bread. No matter the ingredients or preparation, the important thing is it is shared. The end is filled with bread recipes from around the world.

What an adorable book. Even if you're not a baker, it's a great book to share with your child and start exploring breads of different cultures - you can buy them and try them or bake them yourselves. The illustrations are charming and warm as well.

This is a really great book that is beautifully illustrated. I loved the look at different cultures and how they make bread. And how breads are different but they are all important.

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC!

This absolutely adorable children’s title was the perfect read to show the differences and similarities in cultures and traditions. You could almost smell the fresh bread and hear the voices of family surrounding the kitchen. A super cute addition to any children’s home library.

Oh my gosh, this book is so cute! As an avid bread maker, I was really curious about this book. I think my favorite part is that it showcases the many different ways bread is made across different cultures. The illustrations are so sweet as well. I cannot wait to add this to my kiddo’s library!

The Only Way to Make bread is a fun and colorful exploration on all the steps to make bread.

Bread is a food that is made is many different cultures in many different ways but it’s essentials are almost always the same and it brings people together. This reminded me of Our World of Dumplings (another favorite) which explores how different cultures create their own kinds of dumplings, which are also made of bread!

This book also included a spread of different breads at the back, listing their names and a bit of history behind it. There’s also two recipes included which I always love with food books.
