Sienna and Mick’s story is one of self-examination, taking chances and not letting a second chance at love pass by.. Twenty three years have passed since they last saw an each other and were both left with regrets. Both are at the top of their fields and well-respected, yet something is missing from their lives.. The missing part is in their personal lives. Neither have and personal links to anyone other than family or friends. They lack someone to share their lives, to connect with on a deeper level than just physically, to dream with and to share the ups and downs of life.. Recently, both Sienna and Mick have both wondered what might have been if they had let their relationship play out rather than ending it to pursue their career goals. Now Fate has stepped in to give them a second chance, to see if they really can connect as well as they seemed to over two decades ago. They certainly don’t lack in the passion department, but are they willing to do the work needed to maintain a relationship when they both have demanding careers? Will this interlude end in more heartbreak or will they build their own happily ever after?

These two characters really resonated with me and were very relatable. I loved their story and couldn’t put this book down until the very last page was read. Love takes work and nurturing, but is worth fighting to keep it alive. I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

One More Chance by Samantha Chase, book four in The Band on the Run series, is wonderful story is about reconnecting and getting a second chance at love between Mick and Sienna, the one who got away. Mick (Michael) Tyler is a manager and agent to some of the biggest bands and artists in the industry. He is feeling lonely, wondering how his life might have been if had made different choices; especially about the one that got away.

Twenty-three years ago Mick left Sienna Ashley devastated when he left town without her. Even though she graduated high school at sixteen, deep down she knew she was still too young for her older brother's best friend. Now a neuropsychologist, Sienna has accomplished everything she set out to do; but, unexpectedly seeing Mick again, after all these years, she begins to reevaluate her life and all she ever wanted. One thing leads to another and they decide to spend her two week vacation together; making all of Sienna's vacation dreams come true. To say it was an amazing journey would be a major understatement. The sparks that were there when they were teens had not died out, even after all these years later, giving them a second chance at love. These two were made for each other, found each other when they were both ready to appreciate each other, and work out any obstacles in their way.

Ms. Chase wrote a wonderful, second chance story that should not to be missed. She provided a tale that sizzled with chemistry, magnetic attraction, and endearing secondary characters helping Mick and Sienna get that chance for love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend One More Chance to other readers.

I loved this and read it in one day! Sienna and Mick reconnect after 23 years apart and it’s very full on! Sienna is a neuropsychologist who after attending a conference is on vacation for two weeks. Mick is in the music business and appears to have it all. They have both come to a crossroads in their lives and feel that there is something missing. They spend a packed two weeks together but once it’s over can they make a relationship work living so far apart? This sizzled and was very steamy but did also have a sad thread running through it. Full of emotion, friendship and romance this was a great read. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher Valentine PR for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

Mick is missing something in his life. He can't help feeling like what he is missing is Sienna, who he left in his hometown years ago. When he runs into her in New York, he thinks it is fate.
Sienna is taking her first vacation in years, right after her conference. She has no plans other than to have some type of adventure. When she runs into Michael (Mick), she can't help but jump at the chance to have a fling with him. He surprise her when he invites her to spend her vacation with him. He ends up taking her to all of the places she has wanted to go but never did.
Opinion
This series is pretty awesome. Mick is the manager for the band and finally gets his love in this book. Whats great about this book is that the love and romance are so down to earth, even though the vacation sounded like it cost upwards of six figures. I love that they found each other again but am sad that this series has run its course.
Many thanks to Net Galley for providing me with an ARC of this book.

When Mick Tyler left Sienna Ashley behind, it was to follow his dreams in the music industry. Now twenty-three years later, he is successful and wealthy, but miserable. He wonders whether success has truly mad him happy, if left behind the one girl, who could have been ‘the one’. Sienna Ashley is desperate for a little excitement. As thrilling and satisfying as her pursuit of scientific research has been for her intellect, it’s left her heart feeling a little neglected. For years she dreamed of finding someone who not only understand her brain but accepts her and all her quirks. She thought she had found that in Mick but then he walked out on her. When they meet again, they decide to see what could have happened had they chosen a different path all those years ago. Yet, all they have is two weeks in which to decide their future.

A second chance romance is always interesting in how an author will draw the past into the future. Whilst I didn’t quite understand the reasons for Mick leaving Sienna behind in the first chapter, this couple do express their feelings throughout the book, uncovering greater detail. I enjoyed the relationships between Sienna and her brother, as well as many of the other secondary characters. A part of me still thinks that 23 years is a long time to mull over a romance.

I really enjoyed Mick and Sienna's story. The timing was right for them to reconnect and figure out whats important in your life. Great trip too.

Mick left his hometown to follow his dreams and left the only woman he ever really loved. After 23 years, he happens to run into his best friend who was having dinner with his sister Sienna. Now, Mick is more successful than he ever thought possible and is realizing that he is not happy with his personal life.

Sienna is being encouraged by her best friend to have an adventure, to get her head out of her work and take a vacation. She wasn't sure what she was going to do for her vacation, but when she saw Mic again after all this time, she just knew. Fate definitely had something to do with the timing.

Mick and Sienna's story was right person, wrong time. They needed to grow up and make something of themselves before they could make it back to one another. They lost a lot of time together, but they were able to reach their dreams. I loved Sienna's best friend, Eleanor, she pushed Sienna to have her adventure and fall in love. She played a part in these two getting together, and I was crushed along with Sienna. Mick is the fixer and he couldn't fix Sienna being heartbroken but sometimes we just need the person we love to be there for us, not fix the situation and I am glad that he was able to see that.

4 1/2 Stars for the second chance romance!

This is a sweet romance that tugged at my heartstrings. The chemistry between Mick and Sienna is off the charts ... my iPad almost melted. But, if Mick had such strong feelings for Sienna, I can't believe that he didn't even try to contact her in 23 years. But he was so taken with her when they were older that I forgave him. Maybe they wouldn't have even worked when they were young. This is a great addition to the series.

Mick left home when he was 19 to follow his dream of finding musical talent and help them become famous. But he left Sienna behind because she was only 16 and he wanted her to follow her own dreams. Twenty-three years later they accidentally meet in New York and all those old feelings come rushing back ... only stronger. Sienna is only in New York for 2 weeks ... will that be enough time to scratch the itch? Or will they want a lifetime together?

One More Chance is the fourth book in Band on the Run series by Samantha Chase.

This is a story of second chances, new beginnings, and the importance of adventures.
What would you give to have a second chance at your first love? Would you drop everything and go on an adventure around the country and live for the first time in years? That is what Seinna gets to experience with Mick "Michael" Tyler when they have a chance meeting after 20 years. They've both reached the success of their respective careers, and neither has been good about taking time for themselves. It's never too late to start over, older and wiser, and with the knowledge that the future together is better than the past apart. Be prepared for some over the top adventures and some bittersweet moments.

A beautiful story about a second chance at love. Mick left Sienna while she was still in high school to pursue his dream. 23 years later they run into each other by chance. Both are at a crossroads in their lives and in need of some overdue time off of work. They decide to go on a whirlwind 2 week vacation adventure with no promises. You have to read this to follow their journey back to each other and their very much overdue happily ever after – you won’t regret it. This is my first Samantha Chase novel, and has become another great author added to my must read list. I am now looking forward to read the Band on the Run series to read the stories of the Shaunessey band which is referenced in this book.

It’s rare to read a romance book with “older” characters, so this book was a refreshing change. This is the fourth book in the Band on the Run series, but I read it as a standalone since I haven’t read any others in the series.
What worked:
The main characters were likable people with realistic problems. They were both essentially married to their jobs and as they got older, began feeling the effects of not having a partner or a family. They are lonely and reminisce about what could have been if they had gotten together years ago. When Sienna comes to New York for a conference, she and Mick reunite and decide to spend two weeks together.
The main characters had a short romance over 20 years before. I liked that their chemistry was so strong after so many years. I loved that Mick was so dedicated to fulfilling Sienna’s dreams.
The main characters, Mick and Sienna, had interesting jobs. Mick is a band manager and Sienna is a neuropsychologist who is writing a book. They both had to make sacrifices if they wanted to be together.
Eleanor, Sienna’s ill friend and mentor, plays a fairy godmother role that is beautiful.
Their supportive friends and family gave them mature advice that had a lasting impact. They clearly rooted for them to be successful.

What didn’t”
I wasn’t as invested in these characters as I wanted to be. Perhaps if I had read the other three books, it would have helped.

This is the first book I've read from Samantha and I loved it.

• Brothers Best Friend
• Second Chance

At 19 Mick walks away to pursue a career and leaving the only girl he ever truly loved Sienna who was 16. He wanted her to also persue her dream as if he asked her to go with him they only would've resented eachother later down the line.

Now it's 23 years later and their paths cross when Sienna is in New York for a work conference and meets up with her brother and sister in law. But they also bring with them Mick... The chemistry is still there between them.

After they both reconnect they embark on a two week adventure together going to all the places Sienna has always wanted to go to with the help of Mick.

I loved this so much and how much they both still loved eachother even with not seeing eachother in such a long time.

I absolutely loved this installment of the Shaughnessy series. Mick finally got his happily ever after with his childhood love - Sienna. There is a sad side story in this book, but overall this is probably my most favorite book by Samantha Chase - and I’ve read 30 of them! I especially love how the scenes aren’t explicit and leave something to the imagination.

The day that Michael left home to push toward his dreams in the music industry, he felt behind his one true love. Twenty three years later Mick is a sought after promoter with accolades he never dreamed of, but yet his life feels empty and he knows he is missing something. So when a chance dinner brings Sienna back into his life, Mick puts everything on hold to give her a two week vacation of her dreams. Will this be enough time to also get back in to her heart? Or will this just prove he is better off alone? Once again Samantha Chase brings the characters from her Band on the Run Series to life. These extraordinary storylines have come full circle and this is just the icing on the cake. This entire series deserves more than 5 stars!!

A chance meeting 23 years later… Sienna and Mick embark on a two week vacation to have some fun instead of work, work, work. They’re both looking for a little adventure and they find it by making many stops on their way to L.A. Their budding romance (they were only teens when they parted) blooms fully during their travels, but will they figure out how to navigate forever? I loved this story, which had glimpses of the Shaunessey band and clan, and also had heartbreak with a friend’s cancer diagnosis. Superb conclusion to the series!

A beautiful story of a second chance love - two who went their separate ways - finding each other again. Samantha Chase has written Mick and Sienna’s story in her Bestseller series Band on the Run and was perfect as a first time reader (now a definite fan of hers). Chase has shown her readers that love can be found at any age, even a love that was never truly gone. While I wanted to talk some sense into Sienna’s a couple of times, I couldn't help but understand her reluctance and pulling back from Mick and all his generosity. A great love story showing you can find your one true love even later in life.

Oh my gosh, can't heart this story enough. It pulls all the heartstrings and has invested in this love story from the very beginning, the trouble is you do not wish it to end.

Mick (Michael) Tyler left NC 23 years ago to make his way in the music business. He left behind a 16 year old girlfriend Sienna Ashley and his heart. Now he is a hugely successful band manager and entertainer agent. By happenstance he runs into Sienna at a NYC restaurant. She is now a neuropsychologist and was attending a conference in the city. Both are happy with their careers but know their personal lives are lacking. She is taking the next two weeks off and he jumps on the chance to join her playing tourist with a bit of luxury.

This is kind of mashup between a second chance romance and fantasy millionaire boyfriend story. The attraction is there from day one as they already have connection from the past. The vacation includes private jets, helicopter rides and luxury suites. The characters are very likable and it is easy to tag along on their adventures. The author includes lots of sexy times but they are fade to black or non descriptive. The sizzling cover with the bearded silver haired man and blonde may give a reader the impression the steam factor may be higher. Also there is only three years difference in their ages and that cover make Sienna appear much younger. (I’m mentioning a specific cover because I’ve seen two different ones for this book.)

I read this as a stand alone but it is the fourth in the Band on the Run series which is about the band members of Shaughnessy each getting a romance. Mick is their band manager and they were his first big discovery. (There is also a separate Shaughnessy Brothers series but I’m not how they all tie together.) If you are familiar with the Band series you’ll enjoy this book even more as the band and their brides make an appearance. This is very low angst but I will mention a friend is dying of cancer in case that is triggering.

Thank you to NetGalley, Valentine PR & Literary Management and Samantha Chase for the ARC and I’m leaving a voluntary review.

Such a good story. Samantha Chase never fails to keep you entertained. Sienna and Mick had known each other for most of their lives. She thought she loved him, but he knew she was too young when he took off for LA after high school. She was soo smart. HS by 16, a masters by 20. She was a neuropsychologist doing reseach at Duke University. Her best friend there, had talked her into taking a two week vacation after a conference and she had no idea what she was going to do. She has dinner with her brotther and his wife and they run into Mick going into the restaurant. It was like no time had passed for them and they decided to take the next two weeks and hit all her wish spots she had never seen. They had such a good time and were falling in love again (or maybe they never fell out). The story had such a good vibe. We got to get to know his first group that he signed and were his family now, they started taking pictures of everything everywhere they went to send to her friend who was dying. When their two weeks was up, they were both afraid of what would happen. Was love enough? Where would they live? Could Sienna get used to his lifestyle?
They was a great 2nd chance romance story. I loved it

Finally Mick’s story! This is a second chance romance featuring the manager of the band that we all love, Shaughnessy, and Sienna, the one that got away, or actually that he left behind when he made the break to leave the east coast behind and travel to LA on his quest to make it big. Throughout the stories of all the Shaughnessy band members I developed a love-hate relationship with Mick. He had the guys backs and clearly their best interests at heart but his single minded focus on their career at times made him act like a jerk, so I was a bit nervous to read his story but I was not disappointed. Seeing all his friends find their one made him realize that in his hunt to make it to the top his never really got to enjoy it. Sienna had a similar situation. Her intense academic life forced her to avoid most amusements but her eye opening nudge came from a sadder direction. When they meet up again they realize their attraction to each other never left and decided to spend time and relax together. The heat between the two is quite hot and their road trip adventure brings a nice levity to the sometimes sad moments. The best part, they are older characters because sometimes you want to hear a happy story about someone who’s not in their teens (at least I do). Even if you never read about the band there’s still plenty to enjoy with this book, although fans will be happy to hear some more about their favorites. It’s a nice quick read with some steaminess, humor, and a touch of sadness, but that only makes you want them together even more. 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed an arc copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
