A fantastic second chance romance. They ended up separate paths and 20 years later get a chance to see what could have been. I was rooting for them throughout the book.

This is the 4th book of Band on the Run series, it can be read as stand alone. My first in this series and this book is good.

Second chance romance, brother best friend, the one who got away. Mick always regret the day when he let go Sienna, after years when they meet again, Mick want time and chance to prove how he fells to her, in 2 weeks. I like how Mick make effort to plan their vacation, choose the best for Sienna. It is sweet how Sienna understand Mick job and willing to support him.

Thank you to NetGalley for provide this book, it is pleasure to review this book.

I am totally surprised by Mick and Sienna's story. I enjoyed reading it so much. There two week vacation is the stuff of dreams. Plus just another side of a rock band that we don't usually get to see.

The scarcity of mature characters in romance is such that I find myself jumping at the mere display of greying hair on romance covers and this modern daddy clinch—over which I spent a little too much time thirsting— promised a passionate age gap romance that had my expectations run high. Maybe too high.

I believe this was my first Samantha Chase book and though I enjoyed the writing and the story as a whole, I want to say it didn't quite deliver what I consider a great romance.
It was a perfectly sweet story, a second chance at love between two very mature characters, not without sexy times but it missed the passion the cover is blatantly selling. Don't get me wrong I did appreciate the healthy communication but I think I needed some angst or something more challenging between Sienna and Mick. I had no idea what level of sexiness I would find and thought I'd take my cue from this very hot cover. Surely the content would match the hotness displayed by this HOT couple? Errr, expectations were not entirely met!

If you're looking for a super sweet second chance romance with a little age gap (He's 7 years older than she) and don't mind the following content warning, then you'll probably enjoy this one!

Content Warning. :[I think it's necessary to warn readers for triggers about cancer. Sienna's best friend has cancer and is living her last days vicariously through Sienna and Mick's vacation photos.

Loads of internal monologue, my pet peeve.

Mick walked away from a romance with Sienna to pursue his musical dreams 23 years ago. He's now older, wiser and successful but totally miserable. He meets Sienna again and they rekindle their romance for 2 weeks to see where things lead...

I love Sienna and Mick. An age-gap, rock star, second chance romance.... It's sexy and romantic. I love how smart Sienna is... Really enjoy her chemistry with Mick too.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

One More Chance takes readers on a fabulous two week bucket list vacation as Sienna and Mick reestablish a relationship after twenty-three years. The last time these couple saw each other she was 16 and he was 19. The attraction was there, but she was too young and he had a career to establish. Mick has become very successful as an agent for rock stars and Samantha Chase gives readers a good idea of all that involves. Sienna’s life has been very different. As a professor of neuropsychology her world has been much narrower. Can these two adjust to their differences to have a second chance? This reader especially appreciated that while the author clearly shows her characters’ desire, she isn’t especially graphic. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.

23 years ago he left to pursue his dreams and give her the time pursue her own dreams. Now, Mick is more successful than he ever thought but it doesn’t change the fact that he has no one to celebrate his accomplishments with. No one to share his life with. Enter Sienna, the woman always in the back of his mind. She’s about to take a vacation and looking for excitement in her life.. It seems like fate throwing in the man she loved once upon a time.

Honestly, this was so beautiful and real. I was originally bummed knowing Mick had left her behind but knowing what I do now, I totally get it. Sometimes it’s the right person, wrong time. I do love that they often thought of the other.. It made my heart hurt knowing how much time they lost but I love the adventure life took them on to bring them to each other.

And Eleanor… ugh, talk about crushed. I love the part she played in Sienna and Mick’s relationship.

*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review with my honest opinion.*
