A helpful book with tips and ideas for teachers. This title focuses on effectively working with students and their family, particularly those with adolescent development issues and Mental Health issues.

The book is full us information and strategies for teacher to use to enable them to respond to the pressures students face. It deals with most of the issues adolescents face, giving ideas with how to manage.

A book that should become compulsory reading for educators in the near future

This was an interesting take on educators in a classroom on how to support students and their mental health. Personally, as an educator, I found Offner seems to put to much on teachers here to act as crisis counselors, however, I do appreciate some of the evidence-based practices and am glad I was able to read this and expand my educator toolbox.
