This is a good book. The two main characters are Serena and Toby. They meet in a bar in Mexico. They have a one night stand. A couple of weeks later they meet again when Serena starts her new job as a nurse. Toby is a surgeon there. Serena realizes she is pregnant. They each have trust issues but together they work it out and fall in love

This is book one in the California Nurses series. While visiting family in Cozumel, Serena Dias is celebrating graduating from nurses training by spending a sizzling night with a hot stranger. When she starts her new job in a San Diego based hospital, Serena never expect to run into her hot stranger Tobias. Tobias is a stereotypical, doctor who couldn’t be bothered to care about the nurses he worked with. As the story progressed, he became more human and deserving of Serena, her love, and their baby..

This is a Medical Romance, and this is the first book in the California Nurses series. I just felt this book kept going over the same things, and I also felt the characters acted younger than they were. I just wanted more from this book. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Harlequin Medical Romances) or author (Tina Beckett) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

I enjoyed Serena and Toby’s story in The Nurse's One-Night Baby by Tina Beckett, book one in the California Nurses series. While visiting family in Cozumel, Serena Dias celebrated graduating from nurses training by spending a sizzling night with a hot stranger. Starting her new job in a San Diego–based hospital, Serena did not expect to run into her hot stranger, surgeon Tobias (Toby) Renfro. Then there’s an additional surprise for the two of them, a souvenir from their time together in Cozumel. Toby came across as a stereotypical, know-it-all, doctor who couldn’t be bothered to care about the nurses he worked with. As the story progressed, he became more human and deserving of Serena, her love, and their baby. I recommend The Nurse's One-Night Baby to other readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

The was a quick light ready. Sweet nurse's romance with doctor which ends up in a pregnancy. It is quick plot and enjoyable read. I like the POV;s. Once this gets publish - it needs to be edited with spell check. Other than that I would recommend this book and author. I look forward to reading more of this author.

**I received this book from NetGalley and publisher for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
