Anne of Green Gables was always a childhood favorite book and I also loved the minu series with Megan follows and then there was the TV show. I ate it all up. I read as much L. M. Montgomery that I could. I always liked among the shadows. But I never really knew much about her. This was veery interesting and I learned alot about her.

After Anne is about Lucy Maud Montgomery's adult life. This book starts out with Montgomery's suicide and then goes back to 1907. I found the book interesting and satisfying. It is hard for me to imagine that a woman that suffered from mental health issues could write happy stories for young people. Overall, I enjoyed After Anne, and I would recommend it to fans of L.M. Montgomery.
