I absolutely love the Tori Hunter series! I own the whole series so far along with the Audio books and read (or listened) the series more than once (which is not like me!).
This series has everything I love in a murder mystery story:
Great main characters: Tori herself, a former FBI agent, now a consultant with the Manchester Bay, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office. Her partner, Chief Detective Will Braddock whom you get to LOVE as he is everything a partner of a strong woman needs to be both at work and at home. Their colleagues "Steak and Eggs" also adorable characters and many more.
The murder mystery itself is as ever full of action and very thrilling.
The setting is very picturesque.
I love experiencing their fictional world whilst reading the stories and I always get a massive book hangover when I finish the books...
I really REALLY can't recommend this series enough.

The Snow Graves is the 5th book in the Tori Hunter series.

I have read all of the previous books in the series. I have really enjoyed them all.

This book however, had a lot of characters to keep straight. I was at times confused by this.

This one didn't grab me quite as much as the others in the series. I think it was the too many people and the mob connections that I liked less.

There is also a vigilante aspect that I did really like. It is always great to check in with Tori, Will, Steak and Eggs. I hope there will be more books in the series. I will read them for sure, since I love this series and the author.

Thanks to netgalley and Bookouture for the arc

This is the 5th book in a series that I have loved from the beginning. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this one quite as much. I had a reallly hard time getting into it and then it it just barely held my interest. Can't like them all! I am looking forward to the next one in the series.

Thank you #netgalley and #bookouture for the eARC.

I was lucky enough to receive an early copy of this, it’s out 10 March!

I didn’t realise this is actually the 5th book in a Tori Hunter (crime) series. In this instalment, Tori investigates a drive by shooting of three young people outside their home. As the investigation unravels, more dead body’s turn up and a member of the community begins their own investigation but what is their connection 🤷🏻‍♀️

I struggled with the amount of characters introduced to us at the beginning but it didn’t distract from the story and once I got my head around who was who, I was gripped! This is an action packed page turner and I really enjoyed it. I didn’t feel that I had missed anything from starting at book 5 but I will definitely be reading more of this series.

This book would make an excellent TV series, there would be a cliffhanger at the end of each episode 📚❤️

I would like to thank Netgalley and Bookouture for an advance copy of The Snow Graves, the fifth novel to feature former FBI Special Agent Tori Hunter, now a consultant with the Manchester Bay, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office.

A drive by shooting kills three students. Tori and her partner, Chief Detective Will Braddock, are hunting a light coloured SUV seen leaving the scene, when another shooting is reported, this time the shooter is a woman in a black SUV. Then Tori finds Alisha, nine years old and deaf, who signs that she was escaping the lady in the black car.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Snow Graves, which is a high octane read with plenty of twists and turns. It is told from various points of view, giving the reader a wider perspective on events that is much needed because this is a big book with lots of characters and many strands. It’s not difficult to follow, but it is complicated in who did what and when.

The plot is great, not highly realistic but very entertaining. The lady in the black car is quickly identified to the reader, although not to Tori and Braddock, and that is only the start of her story. Her motive and backstory are gradually revealed over the course of the novel and they are jaw dropping. Her narrative features prominently in the novel. Meanwhile Tori is on the hunt for the drive by shooters and that opens a whole other can of worms. There is a motive for the shooting, but only a psychopath would think it acceptable to kill innocent teenagers for it. It’s not the only murder in the book, in fact there is a high body count, but it is the most egregious. It seems as if Tori and Braddock are continually playing catchup in a fast moving investigation. This is a novel where the past casts a long shadow into the present day. It is well done with strategic reveals and twists and a most satisfying conclusion. I enjoyed the contrast between the goodies and baddies as it puts everything in context.

I like Tori and Braddock. They are settling in to domestic bliss, but not at the expense of their investigative skills. He is the planner, she is the one with the insights who makes the links. I know that I said earlier that they seems to be playing catchup and oftentimes they are, but once the picture becomes clear to them they start to get proactive and it’s very enjoyable to read. I always like a bit of smart detecting.

The Snow Graves is a good read that I have no hesitation in recommending.

4/5 stars! This is the fifth book in the Agent Tori Hunter series by author Roger Stelijes and was my first read by this author. The premise of this book was super intriguing and I was excited to see this pay off in the writing. The characters were 3-dimensional and had their own struggles and personalities. I was pulled into this story and surprised by the ending. Will definitely be reading more books by this author.

I received an advance review copy for free through NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The Snow Graves (Agent Tori Hunter Book 5) by Roger Stelljes is an addictive and unputdownable mystery thriller and suspense novel. In book 5, Agent Tori Hunter investigates a triple murder. Is it a random drive-by shooting, or is something more nefarious going on? From page one, The Snow Graves is a gripping novel
in which the author skillfully unravels the story. It has the right amount of police procedural, a thrilling mystery, tender moments, and page-turning action until the very satisfying end. The characters are credible, and the story makes sense.

The cover is also very nice. It's what drew me initially to the book. This book has shifty, shady characters with mob connection twists. You almost root for the bad guy vigilante type in the story. And who doesn't love Alisha!? What a great character. I hope we see more of what happens to her in future books.

The Snow Graves is another intriguing installment in the adventures of Agent Tori Hunter and Braddock at their best, and I would recommend this book. I would also recommend reading the first 4 books in this series.

The Snow Graves in the 5th book in the Tori Hunter series. I'm a big fan of this series. Tori, Braddock, Steak and Eggs are all such great characters. This book seemed a bit different to me than the other books in the series. A ton of characters, not much back story for them, a little less personal than the previous stories. Mobsters, contract killers, unsolved mysteries. I enjoyed the story but I miss the personal connections Tori and her team usually have with the victims and perps. Roger Stelljes has a great series and can't wait for the next one!

It said on the cover ' addictive and unputdownable' and this was the truth! I found it hard to stop reading. The characters feel real and (at times) caused the occasional tear. I really hoped the female 'assassin' would escape ( won't say why - spoilers). The plot developed at a steady pace and kept me wondering what was going to happen. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

Agent Hunter has a hard time grasping the site of a young couple laying in the snow just outside.his aunt’s home. A young child near by did she see anything.
The warning comes, that if the agent does get help, the child’s life is in danger.
Good plot from the first pages, of something out of the ordinary happening and for the team to find out why, Good series with good characters in the team that works well together. Given ARC by Net Galley and bookouture for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

I was sucked in from the first page, and couldn't put it down!
This is fast-paced, action-packed, and full of so many twists and turns that I had no idea what was going to happen next. This particular story had a lot of moving parts that all came together beautifully, Tori and Braddock along with Steak and Eggs make an amazing team that will turn over every rock until they find all the evidence they need to put the bad guy away.
There is someone in particular in this book who I was rooting for the entire time, and I'm so happy that that situation went the way I hoped!
Each book has me falling more in love with these characters and I can't wait to see what kind of case Tori and Braddock will be solving next!

This series is one of those that is hard to put down once you start to read it ,and will become one of your all time favorite ones as well, which means it's going to be hard to pick a favorite book , the characters will have you falling in love with them , as well as the way the author brings his story line to life right before your very eyes .

As always, Roger Stelljes as written a compelling and thrilling addition to his Tori Hunter series. It's absolutely fantastic! A drive by shooting is very out of character for a residential northern Minnesota neighborhood - and this turns into so much more. Tori, Braddock, Steak and Eggs (who are some of my favorite supporting characters) work together to not only solve this murder, but also determine why some of the area's known drug dealers are showing up missing. To compound their investigation, Tori has a female caller who always seems one step ahead (and you can't help but root for a her a little bit!). A big thank you to Bookouture for an advanced reader of this book - the opinions expressed are my own.

I love this series. Tori Hunter is one of my favorite characters and because she has been through a lot already she can empathize with a lot of people too. It has taken a while before she got over the devastating things from her past but it has made her more determined and stronger. I know it's such a cliché, but clichés often stand for the truth too.

When you say Tori, you say Braaddock and of course he is back too, as well as Tracy, Tori's friend from her days as an FBI agent.

This time Tori has a very complicated case she has to try to unravel. People are being killed left, right and center, but baddies seem to be the target now too.

Who is this mysterious killer who decides enough is enough, working like a ghost but leaving behind quite a few dead bodies?

Little by little Tori finds out who is behind all this. Will she be able to catch them? On the one hand she does want to nail them. On the other hand the unsub is not bad through and through...

I love Maggie. She is a wonderful character and you just have to love her. She is soft and loving and fights for those she loves.

An amazing story I could not put down. 5 stars

Thank you

The Snow Graves by Roger Stelljes was such an exciting and interesting book. It had me hooked from the first chapter, it kept me coming back to see what would happen next. This is the 5th book in the Tori Hunter series and in my opinion the best so far. If you haven’t read this series you need to I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I’m so sad it's over. I could have read another sixty chapters . . . A fantastic read!
Cancel all plans while reading - I inhaled this amazing book over one weekend and resented everything that kept me away from it! The writing was top notch and the characters were very real.

Mystery and intrigue by a talented author…this book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author. Characters come alive on the pages of this novel. Discerning the end, with the red herrings, was difficult. The setting added to the plot of this murder mystery. Even the title is intriguing.
