The third book in this series has so far been the best. I'm glad I chose audio as the way to read these ones because the narrator does a great job of switching between the voices and making everything very smooth. It's a pleasant listen. But I haven't really connected with the characters in this series. More were introduced in this one, but I wanted to better get to know some of the others and see their relationship with Carly grow. Still, this mystery caught my attention more than the first two. It's a decent series.

This was a quick read with great characters (although I’m still not a huge fan of Carly) and a wonderful setting with yummy grilled cheese sandwiches. The mystery was well crafted and kept me guessing up until the final reveal. There were a few too cutesy moments for me but otherwise I really enjoyed this addition to the series. Looking forward to the next.

Cheddar Late Than Dead was such a fun and entertaining cozy mystery. I'm going to have to go back and read the other books in this series because I loved this. The characters were all so unique and well developed. Carly was instantly likeable and easily my favorite character. I loved getting to know everyone. The story had a great balance of light hearted conversation and eerie, dangerous twists. And the food described in this book left me starving! It all sounded mouth watering! I definitely recommend this one to all cozy mystery lovers.
