I chose this for my teenage grandaughter who although very sensible and grounded still feels the pressure placed upon her by todays society. She says that it is a great comfort when times are difficult and brings her peace. I think that can only be a good thing.

I loved reading this devotional so much. I think it is perfect for beginning christian girls. It helps understand who God is and how he plays a role in our lives. It helps with learning how to pray and what a quiet time looks like. It encourages girls and shows the love of God. I used this as my own devotional for a while, reading a few a day, and this helped my relationship grow even more. Audience wise, I think this is perfect for younger girls, but could be used for any age, especially those who are brand new chrisitans learning who God is.

I recommend this book for teenaged girls! There are 180 devotions, one page each. They include different topics presented in an interesting way, like how to see yourself as God sees you, happiness being a choice, trusting God during hard times, etc. There is a Bible verse, short explanation, example, food for thought, followed by a short prayer. There are even cute flowers on each page! The bottom line is that this is a welcome and relevant way for young ladies to learn more about being closer to God.
