Get your tissues ready 🥲 Soooo many feels while ready this story. Three cousins, Taryn, Anna Rose and Jorja, all return to Shamrock to help their grandmother. They are forced to live together in a trailer, work together in the flower shop, and only call Nana Irene if there’s broken bones or blood 😂 They bicker something fierce but when push comes to shove they are there for each other and nothing is coming between them.
A story of family, love, trust, trauma, friendships and moving past the pain. A heartfelt story beautifully written.

Taryn, Anna Rose, and Jorja have come back reluctantly to Shamrock to run their grandmother’s flower shop while she takes care of her best friend, Ruby, after surgery. While they each have their own memories of this place, trying to get along with each other for the entire summer will test all of their patience. I loved the way these characters told their stories and the secondary characters brought the entire story together. Fabulous!

Three cousins: Taryn, Jorja and Anna Rose have come to help their grandma run her flower shop while she is recovering from hip surgery. Small town Texas romance, with lots of angst from the past to get over and new roads to take. Enjoyed this one and would highly recommend it. Haven't read a bad story from this author yet.

Thank you to the publisher, NetGalley and Mrs. Brown for the chance to read her latest book, The Lucky Shamrock, early. This is pure Carolyn Brown--a story full of family, fun, sarcasm, and love in a small town setting. Given a mandate by their grandma, 3 cousins must spend the summer together working at the family flower shop. Throw in some conflict with people in the town, finding love with the strong male character along with resolution of the personality conflicts between the girls and you've got a great story. I love to find Mrs. Brown's latest books on NetGalley and this one did not disappoint.

The Lucky Shamrock reads like a transcript of family conversations with people you don't know. I found it long-winded and boring. I kept wondering too where the "order tickets" in the flower shop basket kept magically appearing from because in my experience we spent a lot of time on the phone or on the floor taking orders. The three nieces of the Lucky Shamrock's owner don't seem well-liked or popular in town either so I am kind of surprised they get all the business while they're running the shop.

Thank you to Carolyn Brown and NetGalley for the ARC.

This is my first book by this author. It was a sweet read about family and growing up. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

Cousins Taryn, Anna Rose & Jorja just came back to their hometown of Shamrock, TX. They have agreed to help in their grandmother’s flower shop called The Lucky Shamrock while she’s out caring for her friend, Ruby, after hip surgery.

It turns out they all have their secrets and need each other more than they know. Can the cousins get along well enough to work together? Only time will tell.

Living above the shop and helping out is Clinton. He’s a good looking war veteran with family money. He’s also the most eligible bachelor in town and has quite a few ladies after his hand in marriage. Clinton is passionate about helping veterans handle PTSD and is even willing to take temporary custody of a cute little baby while one of his vets gets help.

As the group works together, friendships will build. There could even be a love match.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

The Lucky Shamrock is one of the best books Carolyn Brown has written. Three cousins, each with personal issues, are forced by their grandmother to live together in a small trailer and learn to get along while keeping their granny’s flower shop running. Helping them is a bachelor who has several women trying to attract his attention through food…which certainly keeps the four of them well fed. Ms. Brown tackles each girl’s darkest secrets with insight and honesty. This reader appreciates that the author is adept at advancing her story through dialogue that gives additional depth to her characters. Ms. Brown also knows the good and bad sides of small towns and the relatable messages in country music. This is an excellent read with humor, sarcasm and surprises readers will love. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.
