This poem about a rainy day had mesmerizing art work. This is a book I’d want to have prints of hanging on my walls to brighten my classroom.

I didn't love the story of the book, it was a bit too out there for me, but the illustrations are some of the best I have seen! Super creative, so much color and so unique! I would recommend this book just for the illustrations. My kids loved the bright colors and the uniqueness of the book. My kid's ages are 6,4,2.

Thank you to Netgalley and the author for allowing me to read this book.
I struggled with this one. I had to read it twice just to make sure I didn't miss something. The story started strong but the last part confused me. The illustrations that look like they're made from paper are stunning but, as the book goes on, there's a few dull ones that look like clipart. Also, the chosen font was slightly hard to read.

And just like the first book I read from Kelly Anne Manuel, this book stirs up my curiosity. What I like about this book (other than the amazing illustrations) I am beginning to think about the underlying message Kelly wants us readers to get this book. It is amazing, colorful, happy, with a dash of no-nonsense message. No boots are alike.

I absolutely love the artstyle and how colourful this book is!

The concept is quite original and love how art and real pics give the feeling of an art exhibition for the reading experience.

Kudos to the artist and the author.

Thank you, Balboa Press, for the advance reading copy.
