Emily and Saul’s story was a very cute and sweet love story. Saul thought he was making his intentions known with his subtle hints for awhile now. But Emily just couldn’t believe the most eligible bachelor would be interested in her so she has been chalking it up as Saul being his friendly self. With a little bit of help from this close knit town, Saul steps up his game and he finally sees an opening to what he knows what Emily could mean to him. I loved how Saul was attracted to every facet of all that is Emily. She can be prim and proper, a total professional, but he has also seen her loosened up and is beloved by everyone and he wants all of her.

Overall, this was a great story. Both Emily and Saul have a bit of baggage but the way they support each other was so great to see. There are also so many wonderful secondary characters and couples that really made this book so much more special. Shout out to Satin/Satan and Snuggles!

I received an ARC of The Little Flower Shop from Netgalley and this is my honest review.

We are back in Cemetery, Indiana to enjoy the wedding of Travis and Yardley. All surround them on the beach, barefoot and in comfortable but classy attire. The pig was roasting on the fire under the care of Saul Culver. Most of the town provided gifts to support the duo’s wedding. Emily Lucretia provided flowers from her shop and was happily helping out wherever she could. She kept her shoes on however, a bit embarrassed to dance around in the sand. She thought of her ex-husband’s crude label. She was never what he expected of his wife. He called her a ‘stick in the mud’ yet in the last days of their marriage she managed to walk away with her head up high. Ever since she has run the shop and enjoyed life. At 41, she is independent and still not really dating. She hadn’t really noticed the looks and extra conversations that Saul cast her way. To her he was a ‘great friend’. Little did she know that he wanted so much more.
The Little Flower Shop will be published on May 9 2023 by Canary Street Press of Harlequin.Com. I appreciate them allowing me to read and review Lori Foster’s latest novel via NetGalley. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful story that continues our interests in Cemetary, Indiana and all of the entertaining characters she introduced us to. The Little Flower Shop is a heartwarming tale that the reader just doesn’t want to end. We all hope that she will provide us with further adventures from our favorite Indiana town. Her fans have been waiting for this one. Do enjoy, it is an extremely pleasant read.

I really loved this story. The characters are fun and quirky. The town welcomes and heals those who need it with lots of love and humor. Emily is really hung up on her age. She is doesn't even know when someone is flirting with her. Saul has wanted Emily for a long time but was taking it slow so she could get used to the idea. She didn't even realize that he was interested in her. Saul's life is changing, and he wants Emily to be part of that change. Can he convince her of his love? Emily realizes that she needs to shake up her life. She has her business and good employees so it is time to make some changes. Could that include Saul? I love Kathleen.

A wonderful new story in the Cemetery, IN series! Double the romance! Emily & Saul AND Mila & Gentry. I loved the shenanigans with Kathleen and the internet sensation of #theflowerlady. An overall feel good book. Low drama, just the right amount of romance!

A return to Cemetery, Indiana is nothing to be grave about. Emily, Flower Lady, has allowed the past to end are her in a rut. Saul, local hunk of barbecue sauce and food, has been waiting impatiently for Flower Lady to notice him. With the help of two romantic seniors, a mannequin (read the book!), a 14 year old, and some lovable pets, this summer in Cemetery will be a raucous affair.
Foster has a way of writing characters that go straight to your heart. My favorites were Mabel and Sullivan. Satin the cat with her canine sidekick, Suggles, was also cute.
I loved how Saul was territorial over Emily and pounced with swiftness once she turned his way. Emily really started to love and love after allowing the past to define her for far too long.
I wonder who will be the subject of the next book and where Kathleen will, pop up next?!

This is the second story to take place in a small town named Cemetery; I’m not sure about that name, but I am sure that this is an enjoyable read. This is the kind of book that readers come to knowing that they will get a dose of vicarious happiness by the end.

The main protagonists are Emily who is in her early 40s and a town bachelor named Saul. Emily runs a flower shop (a dream fantasy job for me), while Saul masters barbecuing.

As it turns out, Emily’s community wants more for her so they try to find “the one” for her. Will they succeed or will Emily find her own happy ending? Find out in this pretty delightful read.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for this title.

Cemetery, Indiana would be a place to visit! The small town has the quirkiest characters, supporting friendships, and matchmaking peeps to round out the fun! With an entire town invested in Saul and Emily’s relationship, you know things were bound to get interesting and they did! Emily may have been her own enemy sometimes, but she had valid concerns. Saul had his own hang ups but usually came across way more confident. Together, Emily and Saul were cute and obviously meant to be. Add in some extra relations, Kathleen the creepy yet entertaining mannequin, and a couple of furry rescue friends…mwuah! Another heartwarming tale from Foster takes the cake!

I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley/author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved everything about this book!! I especially enjoyed how the adopted Satin acted out like a child, until Emily adopted her best friend, Snuggles. I adore how this community is like a big family & help each other out. I also like that Beck's story was so similar to Emily's that they formed a friendship as soon as they met. Finally, the love story of Emily's Aunt and Uncle melted my heart. 5 stars for this wonderful book by Lori Foster!!!

We’re back in Cemetery, Indiana with another charming, fabulous book!! This author knows how to incorporate small towns, quirky & lovable characters, romance, humor, family, friendship, heartfelt moments & love of animals while encouraging adoption🐾. She makes you wish this was a real town with all these wonderful characters!! Emily owns the flower shop (employing Gentry & Vivian) & Saul owns a local restaurant (employing Mila). Saul has been interested in Emily but she’s been oblivious to his flirting, while Emily has liked him as well thinking he’s not interested. There are the side stories of Gentry & Mila, Mabel & Sullivan, Emily’s relationship with Betty, Saul with Beck but they all end up intertwining in such a beautiful way. We can’t forget the adorable dog & cat rescues Snuggles & Satin aka Satan. I really didn’t want the book to end & hope she keeps writing this series as I’m ready to visit Cemetery, Indiana again!! I received an arc from the author & Netgalley & voluntarily read & left honest review. Yes, you need to read this book!!

Loved it! Emily, recently divorced, has been focusing on her flower shop and doesn't really have much of a social life. Saul is a bachelor and owner of a local barbecue restaurant. He's got a thing for Emily and is trying to get her out of her shell and go out with him. These two are great together and I loved reading their romance. The town had me laughing because they were playing matchmaker and sometimes getting in the way. Such a great read.

Emily is focused on her flower shop and taking care of her elderly aunt and uncle. She doesn’t draw attention to herself, keeps a very prim and proper appearance, is a perfectionist, and doesn’t realize how wonderful she is. She hates it when people say she is perfect, she feels far from perfect.

Saul is the town’s favorite bachelor; he owns Saul’s Pit Stop, a local restaurant across the street from the Emily’s flower shop, and has been flirting with Emily to no avail. Emily just doesn’t realize he’s been flirting with her. But Saul is getting ready to up his game and Emily has started to think about stepping outside of her comfort zone. Soon the whole town seems to be working towards cementing Emily and Saul’s relationship. The biggest busybody is the great-granddaughter of the town’s founder, Betty Cemetery.

This is the second book in the series, and while it isn’t necessary to read The Honeymoon Cottage before reading The Little Flower Shop, there is more background to the characters and the town. Cemetery, Indiana is a quirky little lake town, filled with colorful characters, including Kathleen, a mannikin that keeps showing up dressed to draw attention, whether she is at the beach, at the flower shop or at the Pit Stop.

Three wonderful new characters, Mila, Gentry and Wheeler, are in this book; I loved Mila and Gentry’s back stories. There is still a lot to learn about Wheeler. So there is a lot to (hopefully) look forward to in the next book.

This is a major feel-good story, besides the focus on Emily and Saul, there is the love story of Emily’s elderly aunt and uncle, the friendship of Emily and her young employee Gentry, and the way that Betty is blossoming. Betty was a selfish old biddy in the previous book, but she is starting to come out of her shell, and I loved how she has opened her heart and shown a wicked sense of humor.

Thanks to the author and NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

Lori Foster is fantastic at creating small town settings that make you feel as if you're visiting old friends. The story or Emily and Saul is a sweet romance. Emily, #theflowerlady, is such a kind and giving soul and oblivious to the fact that Saul has been waiting for her to pick up his hints for a very long time. When he does make it known he wants to date her, there seems to be an air of new wonder and confidence that comes from her. Not only does the romance make the story a feel good read but all characters you meet make you want to smile. It is heartwarming how the town of Cemetery is a small town with such a gigantic heart where people care and take care of each other - and Emily and Saul seem to be at the center of it. You can't help but want their wonderful souls to enterwine forever.

Thank you to Lori Foster and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for my honest review.

Lori did it again, but of course every book she writes is a 5 star read. Like The Honeymoon Cottage this book takes place in Cemetery IN and brings some of the characters you've already met plus Kathleen the mannequin. This book is about Emily "The Flower Lady" and Saul's story. It is full of love, family and humor and is a delightful read.

Such a fun return to Cemetery, IN. This story is chockfull of humor, family community, multiple romances, love, new friends, a famous mannequin, and so much more. There are so many interesting characters - both ones from The Honeymoon Cottage and new ones, along with some memorable animals. You can't help but fall in love with this town and all that happens. There's been a romance waiting to happen (between Saul and Emily), and a quick romance between two relative newcomers to the town (Gentry and Mila). This would definitely make a good beach read.

The Little Flower Shop is a cute story, but I had a little trouble connecting with Emily - the main character. She was very sure of herself when it came to her business, but not at all when it came to her personal life. Thank goodness she had amazing friends, her aunt and uncle, and Saul to help her see just how amazing she was!

While some things Emily thought to herself made me cringe a little, I was able to see where those thoughts were coming from. But at the same time, it just felt very foreign to me - so that's totally on me.

I loved the whole small town feel that I had come to know and love in the prior book in the series, and the way Emily was seen by others versus how she saw herself made me very sad for her. However, with the right people showing her all their love, she managed to see that her worthiness was definitely up there.

The Little Flower Shop is well written, and the character development was really good, too.

Quaint little town of Cemetery Indiana is filled with romance again. The entire town is involved in finding the right man for the flower lady in this sweet novel. Colorful, quirky characters! Enjoyable!

" Perfect " is how everyone describes Emily, owner of The Little Flower Shop. After her divorce, she has hated being referred to as perfect. Saul, owner of Pit Stop, a little restaurant in Cemetery, Indiana, believes she is absolutely perfect for him. But it takes some convincing to get her to notice him. Emily believes she's to old for him, even though there are only a couple of years between them. When Emily becomes a # on social media and is uncomfortable with the attention. Then there is speculation on who Emily will choose and she plans to tell them in a big way.

Several different point of views. Romantic. So sweet. A little humor. Great story. A cat and dog.

We are back in Cementery, Indiana and this time the story belongs to Emily Lucretia and Saul Culver.
Divorcee Emily, is known as “the flower lady”.
Her warmth makes her customers and friends feel special. Emily’s bound with her uncle and aunt is sweet. She will do anything for the people that took her in at a young age when she was in need.
Saul, a handsome bachelor, is the owner of the local bbq restaurant. These two have been attracted to each other but while Saul is willing to give love a chance, Emily has been hurt in the past and believes Saul is out of her league.
As they get to know each other, and as the town seems obsessed with hash tagging theflowerlady, we get a chance to not only see the bond between Saul and Emily grow, but also spend time with some of the townspeople . Especially with the matriarch.
This was a sweet slow moving love story as well as a story about family bonds, whether by blood or friendships.
The author’s description of the town, Emily’s pets, and the mannequin Elizabeth, were funny, leave this reader with a smile on her face.
Another touching story in this series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This is a fun and entertaining read. The characters are delightful and the town has its quirkiness (it’s named Cemetery, after all!). Saul is determined to finally win the heart of Emily. She, having been through a divorce, is slow to trust and open herself to love. I enjoyed this return to Cemetery and recommend this heartwarming read.

The little flower shop
By Lori Foster
Due out May 9 2023

I am so excited to be back in Cemetery Indiana. This is the second book in the series. However, it can be read as a standalone.

Lori did touch on Emily‘s character in the first book titled THE HONEYMOON COTTAGE

The main story is about Emily the flower shop owner. Around town she is called the flower lady.
And then we have Saul the barbecue pit stop restaurant owner. He is known around town as the most eligible bachelor.

I love how their story develops. Emily has had her good share of unhappy incidents. From the loss of her parents, a teenage party that could’ve been a real tragedy, and a young marriage that ended in divorce.
All these things have made her be a little leery of relationships. At 41. She feels she’s content with her life as it is, but her friends don’t feel the same way.
Saul has been very intrigued with Emily for a very long time. He’s not quite sure what her story is completely so he is very patient and understanding with her.

I love how their relationship develops as the story goes on.

Now we have Emily‘s aunt Mabel and uncle Sullivan. Their relationship is the perfect example for Emily on what a real relationship should be! I love this older couple it’s nice to read about people around my own age.

Then there is Gentry who is Emily’s employee. He is infatuated with Mila who happens to be Saul’s employee. I’m excited to see what Lori‘s gonna do with their relationship. Will it end in this book or will they get a book of their own?
Wheeler is am employee at the Pit Stop. Will he be the next main character in Cemetery? Or will it be Lawson Sadler the new T-shirt shop owner?
I can’t wait for the next installment in Cemetery 🙂

But the most fun character in this book is Kathleen. She played a fun part in. THE HONEYMOON COTTAGE. But has even a bigger roll in. THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP.
I’m sure she will definitely become one of your favorite characters too!

I highly recommend this book. I found it to be a very fun, uplifting read. And I feel that Lori Foster did an amazing job on the story.

I am blessed to be a part of Lori Foster Street team and was given this ARC through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
