In author Lori Foster's latest release, The Little Flower Shop, the author takes us back to Cemetery, Indiana. This small town has some hashtag excitement going on. Trending Hashtag The Flower Lady. That's Emily Lucretia. Emily has decided to upgrade her life a bit. She has a list of changes. The town of Cemetery is cheering her on. Her biggest fan - Saul Culver! This is a charming friends to lovers story. I like the very caring side of Emily. I applaud the patient, determined and dedicated side of Saul. They make such a lovely couple. I really enjoyed reading about their path to their Happily Ever After. There's a secondary couple, Gentry and Mila, as part of the storyline. I enjoyed reading about them too. Add in fourteen-year-old Beck and you get a great heartwarming feeling. This was a truly enjoyable read.

What a great love story with some mystery involved that will keep you guessing the who done it while basking in the realization that true love has been right in front of you all along! 5 seaside stars for this one!
When Ariana returns to Mariners Island after the new developments in the case that had her, Ivy and Cam standing together to protect him, comes out, it forces the three of them to stand even closer together. But when more evidence comes out, they start to doubt the innocence of Cam. But Ariana has always been in love with him, even though he's married now with a daughter, his wife has always disliked her and Ivy. When his wife takes his daughter to go to her parents due to all the accusations and talk behind their backs, he takes the opportunity to spend time with his besties, something his wife never allowed. These three reconnect as if no time has passed, and go over their story, as a private detective has entered the picture and wants to talk to the three.
Enjoy this story, there is a lot going on but you will be sitting on the edge of your seat till you find out who the real killer is. I loved it! This is a definite must read!

This was such a sweet story. All about figuring out who you are and finding your place. Emily divorced years ago and threw herself into her flower shop and being there for her elderly Aunt and Uncle who took her in as a teenager. Saul is the town bachelor who has had his eyes on Emily for awhile now and decides it is time to make his move.
This story gives you 2 people who are on a collision course to get their HEA. The secondary romance in this book is just as captivating. It is all about facing your past and moving on to find the happiness and love they want.

Emily Lucretia is known as the flower lady to the people of Cemetary, Indiana. Since her divorce her only focus has been her flower shop and her aunt and uncle. Saul Culver has been interested in her for awhile but she is oblivious to his feelings. The town folks decide that Emily needs a push to make some changes in her life and realize that she is worthy of love. Great book! Love the town of Cemetary and its residents!

The Little Flower Shop is the latest release from Lori Foster. Set in Cemetery Indiana, this is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. This author is always a one click buy for me, but I’m undecided as to how I feel about this story. Let me break it down as to why (spoilers ahead).

Emily is the owner of Cemetery Flowers, new name TBD since town matriarch Betty Cemetery finally agreed to let Cemetery be removed from all town businesses. She lost her parents at an early age and moved in with her Aunt Mabel and Uncle Sullivan (A+ secondary characters by the way). They have a wonderful relationship, and it was Sullivan who was responsible for nurturing her interest in flowers. Emily is long divorced and hyper focused on being 41 (this was mentioned more than once), thinking all good things she deserved in life have passed her by and trying to tamp down a “perfect” reputation. Enter Saul.

Saul runs the Pit Stop, a restaurant located near Emily’s flower shop. He has been interested in Emily for quite some time, but she is oblivious to his attraction (once again attributing it to the fact that she, at 41 is too old to his 39 so he couldn’t be interested). He decides he is going all in to make her see how much she means to him and how worthy she is of love.

Saul starts wooing Emily, then Sullivan has an accident that lands him in the hospital. Emily is pulled in all directions trying to care for her aunt and uncle while getting used to Saul’s flirtations and unexpected celebrity status on the town blog page. She decides to make her shop helper, Gentry (another good secondary character that didn’t get enough depth for me), a manager to help free up more of her time for both her family and Saul. Gentry meets Mila and they quickly fall for each other. Enter Beck who also lost his parents (old friends of Saul) and you see one big happy family starting. And of course the ever mysterious Kathleen, boy does she get herself into some precarious situations.

I think one of my biggest “things” with the book was the lack of conflict. Everything was great, then got better as the book went on. I was waiting for the twist to come, like Gentry was actually Saul’s bio son, but it never did.

Let me be clear, the book was great. Good character building, fantastic secondary characters, excellent details to feel like you are right in the thick of things. But for me it was just that one part, lacking the pivotal conflict overcoming, that had me wanting more. Also the story read as an almost goodbye to the town/series so I’m not sure if that was the last Cemetery book.

Cemetery is a unique town with an even more unique name, but the people are nothing like the morbid name insinuates. A town, at first glance, full of busy body, nosey, know it all’s, blooms with treasured friendships and instant love affairs. It is a town that once you arrive you never leave, I guess that is where the town got the idea for its name of Cemetery (since it doesn’t have a cemetery at all).

I really enjoyed the book; I think I got hung up comparing it to other books by the author and their standard plot points. This is a feel good story full of hopes, dreams, self-doubt and reflection we all experience in our lives. Add it to your TBR pile as soon as you can.

I loved this small town romance. Had great characters, quirkiness of residents, and more fun shananigans involving Kathleen. Fun book to read!

I loved this book even more than the first one in the series The Honeymoon Cottage. The book opens with the couple from The Honeymoon Cottage finally getting married and spending their honeymoon in the cottage. If you are new to the series you will have no problem understanding the happenings in Cemetery, Indiana. Emily is the florist and I adored her brotherly relationship with Gentry as much as I did her romance with Saul. What a nice twist having the best friend be a guy. Gentry's love interest Mila was spunky and all of the characters were so likable. I didn't want to leave the town behind and I hope I can return soon. A perfect feel good romance!

This was another entertaining story from the town of Cemetery, Indiana. Emily, who owns the flower shop, doesn’t realize how much she impacts the citizens of her town, especially Saul, who owns the local barbecue restaurant. He’s noticed her for quite awhile, while she seems to be oblivious. The secondary characters are just interesting as the main characters. Gentry McAdams, Emily’s employee, moved to Cemetery to start over. Is he, also, vying for Emily’s attention or did someone else catch his eye? How about Mabel and Sullivan, Emily’s aunt and uncle? Of course, Kathleen plays a major role in Emily and Saul’s relationship!

I can't say enough good things about this book. It's another hit out of the park for Lori.
This is the 2nd book of this series and it's a wonderful story. You met Saul and Emily briefly in The Honeymoon Cottage. Saul has had feelings for Emily for a long time and his hints keep going unnoticed by Emily. She's sort of clueless regarding flirting and relationships. She went through an emotional divorce and now that she's 41, she has her flower shop, her Aunt Mabel and Uncle Sullivan and feels her life if full. Saul refuses to give up even though Emily feels she's too old for him, only by 2 years.
With a little push from her Aunt and Uncle and of course the town matriarch, Betty Cemetary, she begins to understand her strong feelings for Saul as the two of them get closer. Still unsure of herself, she relies on the help of her friends to guide her way.
Saul also has a life changing event on the horizon and he wants Emily to be a part of it.
You will laugh out loud and shed a few tears. All the feels are there. If you liked Kathleen, have no fear, she's back and still causing quite a stir in town. You will meet some new characters who are a wonderful addition to the town. This one of those stories that stays with you.
The flower lady has finally let loose just to prove she's not perfect! All the characters are warm and endearing and you will wish you were part of their crowd and live in the quirky town of Cemetary, Indiana. I can't wait until the next book!
I received an ARC and this is my honest and unsolicited opinion.

This is the second story in the Indiana Summers series. In this book we get Emily, the perfect flower lady’s story. In the first book in this series we met Saul and briefly wondered if he would match up with Yardley, but he only had eyes for one woman. In this story we get to see Saul and Emily try to finally get together after years of dancing around their attraction. Emily was a great main character, I loved her struggle to let her hair down and try to break out of the habits she created to keep herself safe. Saul was a really attentive and wonderful hero. Cemetery is such a fun setting, and definitely one of those places I wish was real so that I could go visit. I love the people in the town, there are so many fun side characters. I’m very excited to see which character in Cemetery gets a book next! I received an ARC, and this is my honest review.

I love all Ms. Foster’s books and this one doesn’t disappoint. The series is all about feelings, IMHO – The Little Flower Shop was a warm, fun, loving story. We “met” Emily in the previous book, sort of in passing, but she shines in her story. She is so buttoned up, but sweet about it, and totally hung up on her age and how she feels she is...past her prime? But Saul. Ahhhh, Saul! He loves all the different facets of Emily and he does love to push her past her comfort zone. He is so very supportive, and loving, toward Emily. She sometimes gets caught up in her own head but eventually, she “gets there”.

Saul has some big changes in his life but he has yet to share them with Emily. Emily has her aunt and uncle – who are just a hoot and dote on her – and she wants to make sure she is there for them, as they have always been there for her. And Gentry, Emily’s employee. Such a cutie!

All these folks in Cemetery rally around each other and it was so much fun to read Saul’s and Emily’s story. It was a wonderful book, like a warm hug, to see all of these folks work thru life issues and come out the other side. And then there is Kathleen...OMG. If you haven’t “met” her yet? She manages to get herself into some crazy situations. My personal favorite is in the very beginning of the book when she is left on the beach, after a wedding celebration. (No worries, “she’s” a mannequin!) Really loved and enjoyed this book!

I loved this story. I got the opportunity to "steal Kathleen" at our last RAGT event! It made this book, that much more fun!

I loved getting to see a deeper side of some of the characters. I enjoyed watching them all grow. This hit me in a lot ways! I laughed, and cried! Lori seems to always hit me with whatever emotions are currently running around in my brain, in a book!!

I have never been disappointed by her books, and this one is no exception! I loved all the turns, and can't wait to see what story comes next.

This is an honest review of my NetGalley ARC.

The Little Flower Shop by Lori Foster is the sweetest story ever. Loved every character in this quirky little town of Cemetary, Indiana. This story was filled with fun and laughter as well as one slow burn romance that melted my heart. Saul and Emily were so great together. Emily was so sweet and big hearted that she won my heart as well as Saul's. Really loved how these two navigated their relationship. And as an added bonus there's also a secondary romance between two secondary characters that I loved as well. I highly recommend this wonderfully sweet romance to warm and melt your heart.

What a cute story in a crazy named town, Cemetery. Saul and Emily have know each other for years, and Saul has feelings for Emily but was afraid to push Emily. He finally decides he needs to be upfront with her about his feelings and the story just gets more exciting,

There are so many other stories being told, Gentry and Mila, Aunt Mable and Uncle Sullivan, and even the town mannequin has a big part of the story. Very well written and hard to put down. Nothing unusual about that though coming from Lori Foster.

Thank you to NetGalley and Lori Foster for the ARC of this story for my honest review.

Sweet and heartwarming story about life and love in a small town. The main female character is 41 years old, and it’s a little hard to believe she’s that naïve, but she is otherwise a loving, caring individual. She also comes into her own by the end of the story. The male lead is what every woman wants, all male with a soft and loving heart. I like the two relationship story lines that Lori sometimes uses in her books, more love to go around. I get a kick out of the side characters (and usually they are “characters”), the feisty animals, and Kathleen, the mannequin that makes an appearance at special events in the town.

Welcome back to the quirky little town of Cemetery, Indiana!!

Emily Lucretia is the owner of the flower shop and is loved by everyone. Emily doesn’t see her own appeal as she is quite oblivious but she has a way about her that puts people at ease and makes them feel safe. She lost her parents in a car accident when she was younger and moved in with her aunt and uncle who helped to heal her and find her passion for flowers.

Saul Culver is the towns most sought after bachelor and owner of the barbecue restaurant in town. He has been after Emily for awhile but has come to realize that she has no idea how to read to subtle flirting as true interest. Saul steps up his game and makes his intentions known just as he finds out one of his close friends passed away a year ago leaving his 14 year old son with a distant cousin. Saul is determined to step up for both Emily and Beck for the long haul, he just has to convince them.

There is also a secondary romance with Gentry McAdams who works for Emily and is new to town and Mila Nash, who works for Saul and is also new to town.

Kathleen of course is still very prominent in the book and hilarious as ever (a mannequin that get put in funny situations and moved around town), Betty the town monarch is always making trouble and a couple of foster pets that is the epitome of angel and demon.

This was a fantastic book and I read it in one sitting. I have a love/hate with these kinds of books because they are so fantastic I can’t put them down but I read them so fast that they are done in a blink and now what?! Either way it was a wonderful addition to the series and I can’t wait to see if anyone else gets a story.

*I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.*

Once again I am in awe of how Lori Foster can capture your full attention from the very beginning. It was so hard for me to put this book down! I swear you fall in love with some of these amazing people she writes and it makes you wish you could have them for real friends lol. This was such a wonderful book that by the end I was feeling nothing but happiness!

The story follows the budding relationship between Emily and Saul. They’ve known each other for a long time, but Emily isn’t seeking a relationship since her bitter divorce. When Saul starts sets out to capture her heart, Emily is at first clueless. As they get to know each other better, Emily starts to loosen up a little and also finds that she has feelings for Saul. But Saul has a big secret and hopes it won’t turn Emily away. And then there are the pets Emily has adopted. Satan, er Satin, and Snuggles are quite the pair.

Another relationship involves Gentry and Mila, both fairly new to town and neither one is sure they’re sticking around. Gentry works for Emily and Mila works for Ben. When both receive offers they never imagined, will they decide to stay in Cemetery permanently?

Then there’s Kathleen, the mannequin. She sure does get around. She causes quite a stir at Emily’s flower shop and suddenly Emily finds herself with her own hashtag and a lot of her personal business on the Internet. Who would do such a thing?

I’m loving this series!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the best book. There’s lots of humor and romance and a town called Cemetery. I think every town needs a Kathleen and if you want to know who she is you will have to read the book. She’s a big part of the book! Lori, I absolutely love all the love and I love this book. Thank you for writing such great books!

Emily Lucretia has experienced the bad side of love, been through a divorce, and is in no hurry to find it again. She busies herself with her work and caring for her loved ones and feels content with that... but her friends and townspeople of Cemetery, Indiana think she deserves her happily ever after, and they want to help her find it. But what if its been standing in front of her the whole time?

The pages of this beautifully penned book hold the story of a woman learning what it means to be truly loved and appreciated. Emily often puts everything and everyone before herself, and she often believes she is not worthy of being her first choice. She is far from perfect and doesn't see herself the way everyone else sees her. But Saul does, he saw her beauty and kindness the first time he met her, and his admiration has just continued to grow with each interaction they've had. He also sees that she is really hard on herself, doesn't appreciate herself the way she should, and he decides to make it his mission to change that... no matter of how much of a fight she puts up.

I loved the message behind this beautiful story, it really did my heart good. It was so uplifting to watch Emily find her way and the happy she deserved. I have to say Ms. Foster really outdid herself with this one, her words really hit their mark and took me on a journey I won't soon forget! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
