This a book with cute comics for when you need a pick me up. The topics are very relatable. It's not a book to read cover to cover but to view a view comics at a time.

This book is an amazing example of positivity. It was so cute and has the ability to remind us all how amazing we are. It’s the perfect book to give to a friend who is going through a rough time. However I don’t feel it’s meant to be read cover to cover but to have on your bedside and read a page or two when you are feeling blue.

A super cute collection of validating comics. From dealing with feelings, setting goals, and dealing with anxiety. These comics were sweet and encouraging, offering optimism and validation. I had fun reading this and it really was a sweet read that encourages you!

Please read this book!
It looks as if it was written for me but, honestly, it's simply perfect for everybody. If you ever felt the pressure, the fear of failure, that awful feeling you're "behind" on expectations or if your brain "enjoys" telling you ugly lies, this comic book is for you.
Every page has its short message, so you can read the whole book in one sitting (it's so good I bet you will) or you can pick a random page a day when you need a "paper-friend". In fact the author addresses directly to you through the pages as a supportive friend and it's something I really appreciated. For sure, I'm gonna read again this book anytime I'll need a shoulder to lean on.

This is a wholesome comic collection for those days when your brain is mean and when you can't rationalize your worth. It's filled with messages that you're loved, your emotions are valid, and reminders that you're not alone in your thoughts. Reading it felt like a message from my best friend. My only mild criticism is that a couple of things were repetitive. Outside of that, it was a really nice read :)

Content/Trigger Warnings: Talks/depictions surrounding mental illness

Wow, not me crying by how much I needed to hear so many things in this book, as of late. Honestly, this books is so wholesome and makes me think of several amazing friends in my corner. Typically I don't read many "self-help" books, but I'm a firm believer that some literature comes into our life when we need it the most. Truly, this book feels like a big, warm, mushy hug from your best friend, who's always in your corner loving you, supporting you, and thinking you're a delightful soul. And even if you don't have someone in your corner, I think this little collection is a beautiful reminder of how amazing of a human being you truly are.

Overall, I'm just soft and mushy about this book and even forgot to write this 'overall' section. I really liked this and I cried during a few panels and didn't even know how much I needed to hear some of the things in this book. I think, even if you're not a self-help book kind of person, this book will warm your soul, make you feel seen, and maybe you'll be soft and mushy with me.

Do you need a quick little pick me up for yourself or someone you love?

Thinking of You is the sweetest comic ever! I know I’m awkward and suffer from anxiety. I’m also very compassionate and think of ways to help others as much as I can. This little book right here put the biggest smile on my face. It’s full of encouragement. Thank you @bethdrawsthings for making me feel seen. 🫶

The publication date is 5/1/23 but I have already preordered my copy because I think it’s something I will look at and share often.

Thank you #netgalley and Andrew McMeel Publishing for the eARC of this wonderful book in exchange for my honest review.

This book could not have come at a better time for me. My wife was recently diagnosed with cancer again, and so many of these beautiful comics resonated - and carried messages that felt as if they were made just for me. I have always loved Beth's work, such beautiful comics that carry incredibly important messages and never fail to leave me feeling more positive, and almost like I've had a hug from a loved one. Love, love, love. Can't wait for the next book!

Such cute & relatable cartoons! I loved the cute reminders to be yourself and enjoy where you are in life.
I love the simple designs because they don’t take away from the big messages throughout. I can’t wait to buy a physical copy to go back to.

This was so wholesome and sweet — honestly the epitome of a warm hug from an old friend who's rooting for you every step of the way and just thinks you're an incredible human being worth every ounce of space you take up, and sometimes we all need that. ♥

A cute and uplifting book, perfect for those that need a little pick-me-up from time to time. I did feel it was a little repetitive, but the message was a good one.

Thinking of You (but not like in a weird creepy way) is a collection of comics surrounding the difficulties of everyday life, particularly with regards to mental health. I really loved the illustrations in this book and how each page had very little text but the message was still very powerful. I think this book would be great to have around and dip into when you're having a rough day and need a little pick me up as this book is like a hug in a book.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

I have no idea how Beth Evans draws these blobs to my anxieties go away. And yet I'm blown away every single time. This is such a cute little book. Take it and keep it for a rainy day. I'm gonna do the same as a pick-me-up. Here's to hoping this book succeeds.

This is a delightful collection of images and some things that all of us need to hear. As a teacher, I recognized so many panels that would be helpful to share with colleagues, friends, and students. the panel that lambasted “sElF cArE” cracked me up, because the ironic truth is that this book is a form of self care.

I’d recommend turning a page each day and thinking about the message and the image. These are wonderful thoughts to meditate over. Let’s face it—this world needs more kindness, and some of that kindness should be the grace we show to ourselves.

This is a collection of wholesome, heartwarming comics by Beth Evans that feels like a hug from a loved one.
Looking back at me from two years ago, when I was struggling with my mental health and reading this book, it feels like I am cheering and telling my past self that I survived. And on, however I am currently struggling, it will pass.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the e-arc!

I think that Beth Evans did exactly what she set out to do: make a wholesome, emotional support comic that will warm your heart. The thoughtful, encouraging sentiments shared are nothing crazy new, but they're still uplifting and validating nonetheless. Evans addresses themes like mental health and battling anxiety of everyday tasks, which reaches a broad audience. Reading through all of them in one sitting felt a little repetitive, but I enjoyed every single page!

These adorable blobby comics could easily be sold as little posters as everyday encouragement or something to put on your desk to make you smile. I think it would be best as a coffee table book where people can aimlessly flip. "No one who worried about not doing enough ever did too little." made me tear up a bit. Even the simplest of sentiments can mean a lot to you at the right time!! I wouldn't hesitate to gift this funny little book to one of my loved ones who needs some cheering up. If you need a pick me up, this will definitely do the job!
