Good Girl Fail was a great read by Roni Loren. O'Neal Lory was taught that even if someone is good ninety nine percent of the time, even one misstep can derail everything. That one mistake could undo an entire life of making the right decisions. She's spent her life on the straight and narrow path. She spent eighteen years making perfect grades, not breaking rules and no boys. That is until she kisses Auden Blake, her best friend's older brother. He knows that she is too innocent and should stay far away from him and his roommate Lennox. O'Neal decided to ditch her scholarship to a conservative all-girls college and showed up at his school, Bennette State. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

📚 **Book Review: "Good Girl Fail" by Roni Loren**

**Rating: 4.5/5 stars**

For romance fans - I am not sure how I got this book squeaked iny books to review, as I am NOT a ROMANCE FAN full stop! My personal view is they have nothing to do with reality, therefore any "real" relationship cannot fail to fall short when compared to fanciful imaginations.

That said, if you are a fan , I will try to give you an idea of what this book is about.

Roni Loren's "Good Girl Fail" is a sizzling standalone MMF romance that defies conventions.

Story - O’Neal Lory has always played it safe, toeing the line and avoiding mistakes. But when she kisses Auden Blake, her best friend's older brother, everything changes. Auden and his roommate Lennox introduce O’Neal to a world beyond rules and expectations. As she navigates newfound desires and forbidden connections, O’Neal discovers that sometimes breaking the rules can lead to the most exhilarating experiences.

If the above sounds like your cuppa, give it a read, or for a more immersive experience - listen to the audio version "Good Girl Fail" narrated by Samantha Summers.

This was a very intriguing read and will stick with me, because it’s the first MM spice I’ve ever read - and… I liked it *mind blown*! The overall story wasn’t my cup of tea - to YA if you disregard the spice, but sometimes that’s just the unrealistic fuzzies a reader needs to feel good. Thumbs up and thank you for widening my horizon.

I absolutely loved this mmf romance with reverse harem feel to it. This story follows O’Neil as she finally disobeys her strict insanely rich grandparents by choosing to go to a different college than they had planned. This leads to Oneils grandparents disowning her O’Neil is left on her own to finally have a chance to live her life. Oneils best friends brother also goes to the same school and she always secretly had a crush on him. Odin feeling he owes O’Neil tries to show her around. They quickly seem to have a spark but Odin is to afraid to corrupt O’Neil as she is completely innocent meanwhile Odin likes to date girls with his roomate Lennox. This was such a well written story that I could not it it down. There were some really spicy scenes in this book but I don’t feel like the story and the characters suffered from that so I really enjoyed this book. I did listen to the audiobook and the narration was fantastic! The narrator was easy to understand and made it easy to differentiate between the characters. I really enjoyed this book and hope to pick up more from this author in the future. I am hoping there is another book with Odin sister story! I would like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

O’Neal Lory has always been kept in line. After the death of her mother, O’Neal was raised by her grandparents, that wanted to make sure O’Neal did NOT follow in her mothers footsteps. So she was given rules, lots of rules, and she has followed the rules for 18 years until she kisses Auden, her best friends older brother. Auden knows that him and his roommate Lennox has to stay away from O’Neal, she’s a good girl and he can’t risk corrupting her. But when O’Neal decides to rebel and shows up at his university Auden feels like he must protect her, but he can’t keep his or Lennox’s hands off of her, especially when O’Neal asks him to teach her.

Good Girl Fail is a third person, best friends brother, friends-to-lovers, sex ed, NSFW, MMF romance with LOTS of spice!

WOW. That was 🌶🌶! The relationship between O’Neal, Auden and Lennox is definitely at the forefront of this book, and there is little to no exploration of other relationships outside the MMF. If you love poly romances, especially MMF, pick this up!

O’Neal was very sheltered in a religious household and while some books with a very naive FMC the power dynamic is to unbalanced and it almost makes you uncomfortable but O’Neal was a very different FMC. While she was naive, she knew it, wanted to learn, took the time to learn outside the relationship and was very in tune with her feelings. She made her own decisions to rebel and wasn’t pressured into anything. There are great conversations about consent, open communication, LOTS of communication.

There were a couple of dropped plot lines throughout this book, this biggest and most disappointing to me was the storyline of what happened to O’Neal’s mother. We spend a large portion of the book discussing what happened and O’Neal keeps uncovering details about the case but its closed up so quickly without any resolution.

I received an audiobook version which was narrated by Samantha Summers and she was AMAZING! Those spicy scenes were 🥵🥵

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy for an honest review.

OH MY GOD! This book was so hot, full of amazing tropes, and a great way to discover new adult MMF erotica romances. The chemistry and relationship between each character were balanced, unique, and incredibly fresh.

I listened to this as an audiobook, and let me tell you, I NEEDED to pause because the affectionate nicknames they give each other (Len calls her sweets), their love, and their steamy scenes were making me flustered. It has best friend's brother, friends to lovers, childhood friends to lovers, sexual awakening, polyamory, threesomes, and BDSM kinks. I was definitely not ready and unprepared, so I'm glad I was taken aback. It had such a wonderful integration of spice and sweetness. O'Neal is also someone who is sheltered and oblivious to this steamy world, so hearing about her exploratory journey is such a delight.

However, I felt that some of the conflicts did annoy me because they kept going on and on about not pressuring O'Neal and making sure it was what she wanted. While this is extremely important both in fiction and real life, it was beginning to take up too much of the story and I felt like their romance was shortlived because of this. O'Neal already knew she wanted to go on and break free from this mold that she needed to be in and the pushback especially from Auden took too much of the story. I am so glad that this conversation of consent and comfort is being talked about in literature however, it did take away more moments of the relationship itself. But this is a refreshing read and I definitely need to read more of this style. If you enjoy new adult and poly romances, you should definitely give this a try.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, SOLID 3.5 STAR experience for me, but since half stars are not a thing on vendor sites, 4 STARS it is! :)

🎧🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧🎧

Even though I have no preference on POV when reading a story, third person is not my favorite to listen to so I don’t do it often, which means it took me longer to get lost in the story than it would normally take. I did enjoy, and thought it was a very good tool for this particular story, that it was told from the perspective of all three main characters. That helps in knowing what is going thru each person’s head throughout the story. That is one of the best ways to experience any kind of story in my opinion.

From the blurb … “But when sheltered O’Neal goes rogue, ditching her scholarship to a conservative all-girls college and showing up at Bennette State—his school—instead, it’s going to take everything Auden has to keep his and Lennox’s hands off the curious good girl whose teach me vibes could unravel them both.” #SOLD lol I became a fan of Roni Loren’s style and voice over a decade ago with her Loving on the Edge series so I was already sold on investing in this story, but when I read that line in the blurb, I jumped at the opportunity to inhale this story! And inhale I did. GAH, it’s not a short story by any means, but I wish it lasted longer! These three were a treasure to get to know and I just wanted to learn more! I’m selfish like that LOL

There are a few aspects of this story that made me a little #twitchy in the way you get when things don’t really make sense. One of these aspects is the story arc of O’Neal’s mother. It wasn’t just a plot point in the story, it was a big part of O’Neal’s journey and in the end, nothing really felt resolved. It was almost anticlimactic and felt unfinished. I still don’t really understand what the point of this arc was in the first place. Another aspect that felt very undefined for me was O’Neil’s background and upbringing. O'Neal's extreme lack of exposure to ordinary things, including swearing or even being friends with the opposite sex, and the way her grandparents sheltered her from just about everything was not introduced into the story in a way where I could relate to it in any way. We were told a lot of things, but we experienced very little. A few flashbacks here and there to her younger years would have solidified her lack of knowledge for me a lot more. It would have made better sense to me and I would have understood O'Neil a little better because of them.

The actual relationship build-up, coming-of-age aspect, and individual growth aspects of this story were outstanding. It is because of these that I wanted more from the story and aside from my want, I think the story really needed it to shine as brightly as it should have. I hate to say this (lol) but the sexual nature of their relationship could have been trimmed down and taken up less page counts and maybe instead worked on those aspects that didn’t quite hit the mark. Either way, this is really a great story of finding yourself, sexual awakening and acceptance, openness to the vast world around you, friendship, and love!

I can’t say I have a whole lot of experience with Samantha Summers as a narrator but I think she did a pretty good job of distinctly narrating all characters, both male and female.

This book was so good. It was delicious before any of the steamy parts even began and I was hooked from the very first page. The characters are amazing, easy to love, and their chemistry is insanely hot. The writing was great and the narrator was *chefs kiss*

The narrator did a great job. Other than that this book wasn't for me. Not much character development. I couldn't stand hearing the word "kink" one more time. It made me cringe.

Holy heat! The Roni Loren that I fell in love with is back!!! This book is holy hotness! O'Neal, Auden and Lennox's story is one of forbidden love and first love. I loved how their first love blossoms and they learn to accept what their hearts want. This story was soooo hot and I loved it!

The only thing that I was hoping for, was more story. I felt like there was so much focus on exploring their physical relationship that I wanted to know more about feelings and what was going on with O'Neal's mom.

The narrator did a great job with this book. It was so hot!

ARC Cordially provided by NetGalley~

Thank u Dreamscape!

Very familiar w/Roni Loren's work~I can't remember any
of her work that I've not read!

Here goes~ Good Girl Fail
Genre~ BDSM Romance
Series~ Maybe
Love triangle~ MMF
Cheating~ see spoiler in my GR review link below
HEA~ see spoiler in my GR review link below
Would I read more by this author/or in this series~ ABSOLUTELY
Rating~ 4.5 STARS

O'Neal Lory is ur typical goody goody to shoes trying her best to get her
choice of colleges

Auden Blake is O'Neals BFF older brother and traditionally not just
off~limits due to her guardians rules but also WAY out of her league
and just fantasy material as far she's concerned

Their chemistry is undeniable and both are either in denial or trying to be
good

Auden eventually goes away to college and meanwhile O'Neal continues to get
good grades but struggles where the Fam insists she attends college

Well after so much discipline and towing the line she sticks to her guns
and ends up just in the right place

But the plot thickens~Auden has a roommate (Len) and feels the responsibility
to maintain distance from the girl back home no matter what

All in all~
If some one could choose certain life scenarios while @college to come true?
This should be in the pamphlet!

This reminded me a bit of the "Loving on the Edge" series!

If u haven't gotten a copy of it yet~Get on it!

Happy Reading!

A tale of a girl who was too sheltered and the two men who taught her to be bad. This ménage is all the things that I could love despite the FMC being painfully naïve and clueless to how the real world works.

O'Neal Lory (interesting name, btw) was raised by her ridiculously strict and religious grandparents. She wasn't allowed to do anything that a girl would do growing up. Watching other girls and friends made her increasingly rebellious. When she decides to attend the same university that her mother did, she is cut off from her grandparents (at their doing).

Auden is her BFF's big brother and she's had a long time crush on him. Unfortunately, Auden steer clear of her. That is until she enrolls at the same university that he attends and then all bets are off. Let me tell you! Auden is a man with some well hidden proclivities! The dominant Auden is not at all what O'Neal was expecting.

There's just a couple of sticking points that left me feeling like this book could have been more well rounded. Firstly with the relationship between O'Neal and Lennox. It felt somewhat forced, for lack of a better term. I didn't really feel that there was enough chemistry there for them to be in a relationship. Yes, the steamy scenes were fire, but otherwise it was kind of flat. Secondly, I didn't feel that the storyline involving O'Neal's mother was complete. There was quite a bit going on in the main story about her, but in the end it just fell off with no good tie up.

The narration for the audiobook was good, but it definitely would have been great if there was dual narration. The narrator had good tone inflection and her "male" voices were somewhat convincing.

👉🏻💥Always check the TW/CW💥👈🏻

Anywho! Time to wrap this up with the goodies:
Read: 3🌟🌟🌟 (3.5)
Spice: 3🌶🌶🌶

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen to Good Girl Fail by Roni Loren in exchange for my honest review.

O’Neal has had a crush on her best friend's older brother for years but she’s being raised by her grandparents in a very strict household, so she’s never done anything about it. Then one day she takes a chance and it changes everything.

I struggled with this one a lot. I wanted to like it, I really did but I had such a hard time with these characters. You have O’Neal, a sheltered young woman who is desperate to make decisions for herself. She’s sick of her grandparents controlling her entire life and she wants to explore. So she makes a huge decision and takes a chance. I’m with you so far.

Then you have Auden, O’Neal’s BFF’s older brother. He’s like 22 or 23. Now we’re told he’s brought up similarly to O’Neal but the only time we ever “see” that is when the author tells us. He feels shame because he wants things his family won’t approve of and that means he’s been sheltered and brought up in a strict household, but his mom is always perfectly loving and kind, and more than willing to take O’Neal…it never felt right to me.

Then there’s Lennox who is very mature for his young age. I wish there were guys in college with me who are like Lennox. He reminded me of someone 10+ years older. He was kind, patient, thoughtful, and playful. I struggled with accepting that Lennon was in college which made it very difficult to stay engaged.

The are some very steamy scenes for you to enjoy. For me, it didn’t work.
As for the audiobook. I found the voices of each character a bit frustrating and would have preferred just to hear the voice of the person reading, but I'm sure there are many who would love it.

I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Samantha Summers. The performance is breathless with steamy intensity and emotional clarity. The storyline is easy to follow and get lost in as they all come together. This was a quick listen for me and I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for allowing me to listen to this ARC for my honest opinion.

I love the idea of this book. I felt like because she was always put into a box of what to do and sheltered they acted like she didn't know her mind. She didn't go crazy. I was interested in finding out what happen to her mom but felt we didn't get as much out of that story line. The best friend brother having a connection but fighting it I'm here for it but adding the roommate felt a little forced and didn't feel as organic of a connection to it.

It was a good story but didn't blow me away.

Thanks Netgalley for this AudioArc in exchange for my honest opinion

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook! Roni Loren is new to me but I just adored her writing style. It was detailed without being overburdened and it read so smoothly…well it sounded smooth.

I loved the narrator! The voices were handled so well. I usually struggle when a male/female tries to voice the opposite sex but it completely worked in this audio.

The plot was SO GOOD. Good girl gone bad is a favorite trope of mine and this one did not disappoint. I adored ALL of the characters and their growth from start to finish. They all challenged and supported each other and it was refreshing to not have a bully theme. I’ll definitely be listening to this one again soon. I need a second listen before posting my review on social sites because this very well could go up to 5 stars with another listen.
