This book feels so real. I practically felt as if I knew them. I knew their flaws and quirkiness. This was a very enjoyable read/listen.

I received a free copy of the story and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Class is in session with Roni Loren and the syllabus includes:
- how to recover from religious trauma
- how to get over your purity culture issues
- how to let not one, but two men love you, and love them back
- embracing queerness 101
- intro to kink

And I loved every single word. This book was a balm to my soul. I know I’ll be rereading O’Neal, Auden and Lennnox’s story for years to come. This book was everything I hoped it would be and more. I felt so seen and understood in O’Neal. I think this book encapsulates what leaving a religious family looks like for so many people. Honestly there’s so much that I loved about this book.

I got the arc (audiobook version). This is my first book by this author. I didn’t read the description prior to starting and realized was a romance MMF fairly early on. This was very spicy 🥵

Synopsis
It follows a young woman who grew up extremely sheltered by her grandparents. She was expected to meet their expectations including no cursing and which college to go to. She wasn’t even allowed to be in the same room with boys. She was told throughout her life that her mother was found dead at college with multiple men’s DNA on her and internalized slut shaming followed. She eventually broke away from her grandparents to go to a college with a journalism program. This is where she connects with her bestie’s brother, Auden, who she’s had a crush on for years. Him and his roommate, Lennox, support her as she explores sex and sexuality. Along the way they learn something about themselves too.

“She’s had enough people telling her to feel guilty or wrong her entire life.”

Thoughts
I felt like the book took the shame out of sexuality. The characters talked about internalized slut shaming and challenged social constructs around sexuality. It called out misogyny. It demonstrated one way safe sex could look like. All the CONSENT talk made my heart so happy. 🙌🏼

Side plot of finding out the truth about her mother was captivating but also anticlimactic. I wanted a bit more.

The narration was good though at higher speeds, the deeper MC voices made some words unclear.

Something that jumped out at me was the communication and openness in their relationship. I love how they talk about everything.

Love how the tables flipped at the end and she taught them something too.

I listened to this audiobook narrated by Samantha Summers and she did a great job! I loved the cover! It's honestly why I wanted to read the book before even reading about it. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Super religious and strict grandparents, private all girls school, purity ring and being sheltered your whole life, then going off to college what could go wrong right? Or in O'Neill's case go totally right.

I loved this book it was funny, thrilling, spicy and erotic 🥵🥵🥵🥵 while still tasteful. Touched on multiple aspects of shame and sexuality and how working through them while also understanding them can open up your world to a love you didnt know you needed.

I really enjoyed the last series by Roni Loren that I read which was a totally different vibe to this story so it was great to see how varied her writing is. I really enjoyed this story I was sucked into O’Neals world straight away. I loved seeing the change in her character as the story progressed yet she was still staying true to herself just blossoming. The dynamic she has with Auden and Lennox was great. Despite her very sheltered upbringing she was able to hold her own and had some good banter with them. I wasn’t overly keen on the Mum storyline I personally wouldn’t have minded if that wasn’t included or if it was fleshed put a bit more. I also would have liked to have seen more of O’Neals life outside of the guys like her standing up to her family and them telling Audens parents about their relationship. That being said neither of these points took away from the story and it was still enjoyable. I listened to the audio version of this story and the narration was So Damn Good! I really enjoyed how she brought the story to life with her tone and expression it really drew me in. A really enjoyable book and definitely not one to read in public 😉

I thought going into this book that I might have a few issues with a NA Virgin and MMF but honestly I liked the way the author spun this story. I am not a fan of kinky virgins normally but I think knowing what to expect going into this book had me prepared and that helped me get on board from the beginning. I really enjoyed the relationship between O’Neal and Auden but I also loved the relationship between Auden & Lennox so when everyone finally gets on the same page I was a happy girl. The sex scenes were hot weather it was one on one or two on one ;) I also was happy that the author wrapped up the ending perfectly. Now I am hoping for a book about Auden's sister next!

The narration was really good, I think this was my first Samantha Summers listen and I thought she did a great job with all 3 characters.

I loved this story. I could have done without the mother story as I don’t think it mattered. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was great. The story had angst but wasn’t slow paced so it was perfect.

This was hot, hot, hot! MMF polyamory, good girl learning all about herself when she goes to college. The relationship between O’Neal and her best friend’s brother, Auden, starts off innocent enough, but O’Neal quickly finds that she wants to break free of her ultra-conservative, religious roots.

Sweeter than most erotic romances, thus was full of steam but also relationship building.

Excellent narration!

O’Neal Lory grew up BFFs with Mia Blake. The plan is for both girls to attend a conservative all girls college together like her family wants. O’Neal is a straight A student. Follows every rule. Does everything by the book. Mia’s brother, Auden Blake, gives O’Neal some advice that changes her life forever. She ends up attending Bennette State instead of a conservative all girls college like her family wants. Auden Blake also happens to attend Bennette State. Auden and his roommate, Lennox, take O’Neal under their wing to make sure she gets along well at a new school with new experiences. Auden knows him and Lennox shouldn’t get close to O’Neal, especially when she could reveal secrets he’s not ready to share. Can they all make it out of college unscathed?

Perfection! I did not want to finish this book because I didn’t want it to end. The plot had me hooked by keeping me on my toes at every turn. I loved the characters! O’Neal was relatable. Auden and Lennox would be the type of men I’d want in their situations. The narrator did such a fantastic job portraying the different characters with her changes in tone. She was the perfect amount of breathy and sensual. The spice was excellent!! There was a lot of spice but it didn’t seem like that was all the book was. If you enjoy MMF, polyamory, or best friend’s brother troupes, then this book is definitely for you!! Highly recommend!

I’d like to thank NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen to this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was literally nothing like I expected it to be but I was pleasantly surprised. This book is wildly romantic and filled to the brim with spice! It was really different from the books I normally read but that just made it more refreshing.

These characters have incredible chemistry. They couldn't have written the characters any better. Each one brought a different side to the relationship: There was O'Neil who was curious and explorative, Auden who was sweet and careful, and Lennox who was bold and protective. They balanced each other out so well. I loved watching their relationship blossom.

This book was a 4/5 on the spicy scale. I would not recommend it if you aren't a fan of spicy books. I am curious about what happens with these characters in the future and would love to read other books by this author. I received a copy of the audiobook version of this book through NetGalley. The narrator did a great job of voice acting and distinguishing each character. Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Okay, it's been a long time since I've read something this spicy. It was HOT. The spicy scenes were LONG - which is good! No rushing and lots of graphic descriptions

I will say I wanted more Lennox. I actually preferred him over Auden, but whatever. The connection between the three of them was phenomenal though. Usually I find myself "rooting" for one over the other, but I really loved them altogether.

I do have to agree with some of the other reviews, the randomness of O'neal's mother's murder was distracting from the storyline. I think there are better ways it could have been introduced and/or better reasonings for why her mother's murder was important to the shaping of her.

The narration was fantastic. There was lots of energy, the characters were easily distinguished from one another (which is sometimes hard when there is only one narrator reading multiple POVs)

Reread - Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape for the opportunity to review the audiobook.

I had read Good Girl Fail prior to my listen. This is my preferred way to consume audiobooks.

O'Neal has been raised by her grandparents and been extremely sheltered her whole life. Auden is her best friend's older brother and their meeting/confrontation on the prologue is the setup for the novel. O'Neal breaks from the path and expectations laid out for her by her grandparents and goes off to college to pusue her career interest in journalism. Auden is also at Bennette (spelling unclear to me as I'm not going back to the print version to check). Auden also has a side that isn't something he shares when back home with his family. Auden's friend Lennox is also in the picture.

The focus is on O'Neal, but both Auden and Lennox have their POV. Character growth throughout seen most via O'Neal. Auden also changes quite a bit. I would have like more of Lennox - this is likely because he strikes me as the most mature and New Adult isn't really my thing. MMF with light BDSM and good illustrations of consent.

From a narration perspective, I really enjoyed it. Distinct voices for the three MCs. I'm not sure the tracks all have the same volume. Suggest a headphone listen.

Took a little to get into this at first but I absolutely love O’Neal. I’m not into too much religious stuff but this was great! Throughout the whole book it was spicy as hell! Lots of innocence and submission or so that’s what it seems. Lennox is a pretty interesting character too, love that he calls her “sweets” but I like Auden and O’Neal’s friendship/relationship. Very well written overall but after the 50% mark it suddenly seems to force in the mom’s murder plot and it just never really fit in the story IMO.
I enjoyed it a lot though,

Thank you dreamscape and NetGalley for this ARC.

Thanks #netgalley for this book in exchange with an honest review. Wow - this wasn't what I expected. I listened to the audiobook and the narration was good. NSFW. Very little on the mystery of the main characters mother. recommend.

Love how this book was brought to life in an audiobook. I loved reading it and listening to it made it even better. I’ve read other books by this author but never had heard the audio. I loved The audio.

Holy Hot Sauce! A spicy tale of a good girl who falls for her schoolgirl crush and his college roommate, but it is more than just a hot scenes and the breaking in of the virginal good girl. It is a well written romance about a young girl who has been so restricted from living life that when she breaks free to explore who she is, she goes all in on the exploration. In her case, she was lucky enough to have a wonderful guy or two to help her navigate those explorations. This is my first book by this author, but it definitely won't be my last. I also want to say kudos to the narrator who did an outstanding job of bringing the characters and story to life.

A steamy read that made me double check no one nearby could hear the audiobook as I listened. This MMF, new adult story managed to balance the heat with a compelling story that I wanted more of. I loved the way the relationship blossomed and O’Neill found strength in who she was and what she wanted. The narrator of the audiobook did a fantastic job and had me taking longer walks so that I could listen more.

I was shocked by how much this book validated some very deep issues I have with purity culture. Going in, I wasn't expecting to feel so seen. Loren hits on some really tough topics with a sensitivity that I really respect. Yes, the book was spicy in all the best ways, but it is also so much more than that. I would recommend this book for someone of my similar tastes and background in a heartbeat.

HOT AUDIOBOOK! Dark, mysterious, sexy, and intriguing! New genre and author for me but was pleasantly surprised! Would recommend for readers who are in need of something new and unlike other romances on the market!

This was a well written story. And one I enjoyed listening to tremendously.
With interesting characters with a plot that had me hooked.
I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy this as much as I did.
But I’m telling ya once I started I couldn’t stop.
An exciting read that kept me glued and entertained.
The narrator was also great. I will most definitely pick up this authors next book in the future.
