A good girl. Raised in a strict religious household, O'Neal was curious about the world in front of her as she entered the college of her choice. With an old friend from back home, she was guided and "taught" the bounds of college life, what to expect and what should be unexpected.
She's eager to find out what life has to offer behind the confines of what she was taught was acceptable and she wants the first boy she kissed to be the one to show her. Little does she know that the world isn't black and white all the time. There's grey areas in everything.

This was my first read by Loren and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I listened to the audiobook and it was a steamy, attention holding, clever ride with a happy ending. Who doesnt like happy endings?

Thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscapes Media for the great listening experience!

This is my first ever MMF book I've ever read and it was incredibly interesting and eye-opening. It's so refreshing reading about a healthy, communicative relationship with really well written characters who have a lot of depth. The spicy scenes were very good but there wasn't so many that it overshadowed the rest of the book and I loved seeing their relationships develop and their own emotional journeys. I will definitely be checking out more by this other as it was both adorably sweet and spicy at the same time, I really enjoyed watching the characters grow and learn.

Oh. My. Good. Lord.
That was a 10/10, 100/100, highly recommend, already bought the audiobook on audible, absolute BANGER of an arc! I haven’t been this engrossed in a spicy story in forever! The characters were loveable and relatable, the story was engaging, zero cringe and zero chill. Open and honest communication, explanations, and expectations. I absolutely loved it!! The dynamic between the 3 main characters were absolutely perfect. I loved the topic of shame being discussed and overcome. I’ll absolutely be screaming my praises for this book from the rooftops.

Content: I LOVED this read. This is almost perfect MMF and poly rep. I thought O’Neal’s backstory with her mom was such a powerful driving force. I was personally so happy it stayed in the backstory and this didn’t become a gratuitous thriller by the end.

What I needed more was character development. I needed more about Lennox and more build up of their relationship even off page. They only spent about 3 instances together some for a short amount of meaningful time so some of their proclamations felt unrealistic to me. One of my absolute favorite rereads is Nothing Between Us by this author (which is also MMF) so I was expecting more. The spicy scenes did not disappoint and I don’t normally lean towards new adult but this was new adult done well. I actually felt a little nostalgic for college and I think this could’ve even used more scenes of that.

The narration is AMAZING. Excellent job. It takes a talented narrator to show that level of emotion and also manage 2 males in a MMF spicy scene without getting cheesy or cringey. Thank you so much NetGalley and dreamscape for this audiobook!

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and Roni Loren for the opportunity to listen to Good Girl Fail. It's about the fourth book I have 'read' by Loren, and I have to say I am an absolute fan. Good Girl Fail as an audio was great quality narration, easy changes between characters, and a pleasure to listen to in terms of the quality and presentation.

The storyline .... well, I definitely have no complaints. It's a steamy read between a sheltered O'Neil, who heads off to college on the advice of her friend's brother Auden. O'Neil and Auden share a simmering kiss on one occasion but Auden regrets it and O'Neil can't forget it. When they meet up at college, Auden plans to stay away from her, but the pull of their chemistry is far too strong. And then there's the issue of his roommate Lennox.

Loren's characters are always well developed for mind. This one sees O'Neil grappling with her upbringing and trying to create a future for herself, free of the constraints of her grandparents. It's complicated by the fact her mother was murdered, and there's alot of innuendo about the events surrounding her murder. Auden is also trying to escape the small town he and O'Neil grew up in, and his familial expectations around his own future. He has other sides to himself he feels he is unable to express if he returns to that life (which is the future that is planned out for him). Lennox is the real MVP for me - artsy, intense, brooding, and quintessentially honest. He is the balance between these two, and interestingly the voice of reason.

For sensitive readers or listeners, this book is steamy, and given it's an MMF dynamic there's alot to unpack. I struggled with the alternating story line with O'Neil's mother as I didn't really feel it added significantly to the story, though I see the parallels and issues - I just don't think it was as impactful as it could have been in terms of the outcome. Also I did question the young-ish age of O'Neil - just a personal preference though I get the transition age and phase in her life was a good time to set this story.

Holy spice! This was definitely an audiobook I listened to with the airpods in so those in my house couldn't hear the explicit details. Is there anything hotter than being with your best friend's older brother and his best friend?
O'Neal was the typical naïve, smart, "good girl" and Auden was the bad boy ready to teach her. Throwing Lennox into the mix just added to the forbidden lust story. The only thing I didn't like was the storyline about O'Neal's mother and her death.

If you are looking for something spicy this is a must-read. O’Neal has been a good girl her whole life who does everything that's expected of her and that her grandparents tell her, Until talking to her best friend's brother who she has a crush on, but has always seen her as a kid. Until a kiss in his kitchen helps O'Neal realize she needs to make some changes

Auden has a great family who supports him. He doesn't want to disappoint them. So Auden keeps his home life and his school life very separate. Until he finds out that O'Neal that he's been avoiding since that kiss is about to come to the same school. He and his roommate help her and take her under their wing. And maybe shes not as good as he believed,

This book is stand alone and you defiantly will want to give it a listen. or a read if you want a spicy read.

An easy 4 stars. I enjoyed the story and the characters. I do think that the death of O’neils mom didn’t feel quite right. Just the way her story was tied in and not really wrapped up. That was the only thing i felt ‘detracted’ from the story.

Wow wow wow. This caught and kept my attention throughout the book. Definitely not a rom com type romance not may not be for everyone but I really enjoyed it and the theme of loving yourself and love is love was awesome.

✅ Best friends brother
✅ RH
✅ Polyamorous relationship
✅ Bit of a mystery
✅ found family
✅ nicknames for the FMC

All good things that kept it interesting. I do wish that we say the couples interact more outside of the bedroom and wish there were bit more closure around the grandparents but overall I love all three of the main characters. I think my favorite is Len!

I loved the bonus scene! This made the book feel complete.

I really love that there was no third act breakup.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would definitely recommend if you like the above themes!

O'Neal Lory has lived an incredibly sheltered life, her mother was murdered when she was 5 and her grandparents have had her on lock down ever since. O'Neal forges her own path and decides to attend the same college her mother attended because of that, her grandparents disown her.

O'Neal has had a crush on her best friends brother, Auden, for years. They share one kiss, her first, and then don't speak to each other for a year. But when they end up at the same college, Auden can't stay away from O'Neal and O'Neal wants more Auden. But Auden at school is different from the boy O'Neal grew up with. He doesn't want O'Neal to know his sexual desires; he likes to dominant and share his partners with his roommate and best friend Lennox.

O'Neal begs Auden to teach her all she doesn't know and he is happy to do that along with his roommate and best friend Lennox.

This book is quite spicy and I was here for it! I really love the teach me trope and this one was no different. I really liked the dynamic between Auden and O'Neal, their friendship made the spicy scenes more believable for me. I also liked the relationship between Auden and Lennox. I didn't quite like the relationship between O'Neal and Lennox, I didn't feel it was believable. I also really liked the first half of this book, but felt the second half was a bit rushed. There were things that were introduced; like discussion about O'Neals mother's murder, but there was no resolution to that. Overall it was a good spicy read.

3.5 stars

Wowza, this book was a little more than I was expecting!! I don’t normally read erotica, but this one was good and interesting. The audio narrator did a good job with the characters and added personality to their voices.

If you’re looking for a “hot” read, this is for you!!

Holy Moly! This novel was so steamy! I'm surprised my glasses didn't fog up.

I wish more erotic novels were like this. There was an actual story, with some emotions to it! It felt real and natural, at least the romance between our main characters. Not to mention, there was a good balance between the story and the steam. I had to remove half a star for O'Neal's mother's story. There's too much coincidence to have that feel authentic. Other than that it was a fantastic read!

Highly recommend!

*Not a novel to read while you're out and about or at work.*

***A big thank you to NetGalley, Roni Loren, and Dreamscape Media for graciously sending me the audiobook to review. As always, all thoughts are my own.**

This is a spicy book! I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! I love the strong female character. Even though she was raised sheltered and shamed, she found her own way, determined to become her own character. This book has MF, .FM & MM.

This is an MMF new adult college romance between O'Neal, Auden, and Lennox. This is also a best friends brother romance. O'Neal has had a crush on her best friends brother, Auden, for years. They shared a moment and a kiss when she was still in high school and he was in college. Auden felt really guilty about how attracted he was to her. Their conversation inspired O'Neal to apply for a different school than the one her strict and controlling grandparents wanted her to attend.

She has led a very conservative and controlled life. Her mother had her when she was a teenager and was murdered when she attended college. There was mystery around what happened to her mother.

O'Neal decided to go to the same school as Auden, and he helped her move into the dorms with his roommate Lennox. They all start hanging out, and O'Neal wants Auden to teach her about sex. Things develop between her and Auden, but heat up even more when Lennox gets involved. Lennox is a free spirit who did not have the sheltered lifestyle Auden and O'Neal experienced growing up. I loved his character.

This book had some spicy sex scenes and some light Dom / sub action. I was very happy that this book didn't shy away from the relationship between the men. They had a deep connection and love for each other. There was an amazing solo MM scene as well.

The audiobook was great. The narrator, Samantha Summers, did an amazing job voicing all 3 characters. Although it had me lowering the volume in my headphones at work so no one would hear the sexy times.

The only thing that bothered me in this book was the side plot about her mother's murder. It just felt thrown in and out of place. It didn't really add anything to the story. I would rather have focused on their poly dynamic than have that storyline.

Tropes in this book:

MMF
Best friends brother
Innocent virgin heroine
Teach me
Sharing
D/s
Exhibitionism
Great communication
Praise kink

Not for the faint of heart, Good Girl Fail is a polyamorous romance that leans toward erotica. Definitely a pearl-clutcher for those expecting the love scenes to be glossed over, this story follows O’Neal from her sheltered high school life to her enrollment in a secular college. O’Neal has had a longtime crush on her best friend’s brother, Auden, and unbeknownst to her, he has carried a torch for her as well. When O’Neal finds herself needing a rescue from a drunken frat party, Auden quickly comes to her aid. But he’s not alone…and his roommate Lennox is more than happy to drive them home.
This is not your run of the mill smut, but instead is well crafted intentional writing. Roni Loren takes care of her readers, giving them juicy sex scenes coupled with a plot worth reading. There is so much forethought into how these characters take care of each other; what could have easily been two creepy college students coercing a young co-ed, comes off surprisingly as O’Neal’s idea. To aid with that, Samantha Summers does an EXCELLENT job of narrating. She voices O’Neal, Auden, and Lennox perfectly and coupled with Loren’s dialogue, it never felt cringey or forced. Summers has the gift of knowing when to drop her register to a bare whisper or use pacing to make the listener engaged. She also can voice those very spicy scenes with conviction! 🥵 If I have any critiques, it’s perhaps that the book ran a little long at over 13 1/2 hours. Even so, I was engaged the entire time. Thank you to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an audio ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

having a chance to be involved with your best friend’s brother AND his best friend so they can give me ‘lessons’…i’m game

i practically inhaled this book, i could not put it down

i loved how unapologetically open this book was, beliefs, sexuality, exploring different aspect about ones self, we watched these characters learn new things about themselves and each other and it was done in such a safe and loving way

the spice in this book was everything, especially hearing it narrated (whenever the narrator would speak for Auden, i couldn’t take it, it was too good😭)

i wish we could’ve spent even more time with these characters, i did not want this book to end, i was just eating up every little crumb i could get

also i need all other authors to take notes, forget ‘babe’ and ‘baby’ we need more ‘sweets’ and ‘sweet girl’‼️

thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audiobook arc

Good Girl Fail by Roni Loren
Contemporary MMF romance with erotica elements.
O’Neal was brought up with very strict grandparents and was on a specific path to a “good” school. When it’s time to go to college, she rebels and decides to follow her heart in pursuit of a journalist degree. The school is the same of her schoolgirl crush and brother of her best friend. Auden is told to protect O’Neal. Saving O’Neal from drunken decisions leads down a path of sexual initiation for her and a fantasy relationship for Auden and Lennox.

Steamy hot and electric as O’Neal, Auden, and Lennox make decisions on their relationships.

🎧 I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Samantha Summers. The performance is breathless with steamy intensity and emotional clarity. The storyline is easy to follow and get lost in as the trio engage in their new friendship and more.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media.

The romance was less believable and the surrounding story less developed than in her previous novels, which was kind of a bummer because Roni Loren usually does both so well. I think I read somewhere that this story started as a novella so maybe that’s why. If you haven’t read any of her books I recommend you pick up another one (literally any other one, they’re all awesome) but if you’re a fan and looking for a steamy low angst read, this is a perfect fit.

O’Neal Lory has always lived under the shadow of her “bad girl” mother’s death. Raised by her grandparents she was sheltered and kept away from all temptation. Until she took matters into her own hands and applied to the college she really wanted to attend. Once there she reconnected with her best friend’s brother. Their relationship opened her eyes to a whole new world. One she was drawn to despite her upbringing.

My previous experience with Roni Loren’s books was with the Say Everything series. I enjoyed those and went into this book thinking more of the same. Boy, was I surprised! The writing is still just as good, but the spice is super-HOT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Loren did a great job of setting up the spicy scenes and the developing relationship in this MMF romance. Samantha Summers did an excellent job of narrating all characters. If you’re looking for some spice in your life I recommend Good Girl Fail by Ronnie Loren.
