I completely adore Roni Loren - her Say Anything series got me through some difficult times and emotions. I knew this book was going to be a whole lot different, not just because it is NA and MMF, but because of it not dealing with difficult emotional issues and trauma like those characters had.

I’ve read several MMF before, so I’m not shocked at the antics the characters of Auben, Lennox and O’Neal - I actually found this book to be quite tame and even, being NA (new adult), kind of vanilla in the steam compared to most - I was expecting something more like Eden by Xavier Neal, seeing as they were both college age romances with swim team guys (Eden was extremely taboo)… but this one left me wanting a lot more in the steam department.

The storyline was great, with the coming of age and awakening story of O’Neal, from a very religious and deprived childhood (her grandparents kept her from doing anything, because of her mother), but just could have been a lot steamier and more depraved - it kept feeling like it was going in that direction and I was hoping it would… but it was far too sweet.

I do recommend this one, especially the audio (narrator Samantha Summers did a brilliant job!), to all - most especially fans of Roni Loren’s previous works. It’s sweet and steamy, but not too taboo.

I received an advance listen copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback.

More like 4.5 stars.

I enjoy the brother dating his sister's very sheltered best friend dynamic. Throw in a roommate plus, absolutely amazing communication amongst the three of them in the bedroom...*chef's kiss* I think this book did a wonderful job exploring minor kinks, as well as the start of a polyamorous relationship. Any of my friends who may be new to the spicy realm, I might recommend this book.

There was one things that kept me curious, and this could be b/c I also enjoy thinners and mysteries, but I wanted to know more about what O'Neal was investigating. There didn't seem to be much closure there. I just need to know what happened...LOL!

The way the author kept going with consent and communication was really what did it for me in this book. The characters always made sure everyone was comfortable which is so important.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audiobook ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Eeeeee I am squealing, in the best way. I adore this. Poly romances honestly I think are a top favorite of mine. They just make me so friggin happy. The open honesty and communication and always checking in and asking for consent is so amazing and beautiful that I just smile the whole time.

Also this book was HOTTTT, your girl doesn’t blush much, but I listened to this on audio and I swear I blushed and smirked through half of it. Good LAWD. 🔥🔥🔥

This was fast paced with a childhood friendship to love and a new kind of insta love but I adored every second of it. I adored the openness and them each learning about each other and openly accepting each other and I just adored it.

Roni Loren's Say Everything series is one of my favorite romance series of all time, so I have been super excited to try more of her books. This did not disappoint!

This steamy, new adult romance was. . .whew! It was so steamy. That's not all it was, but I feel like I need to start with that!

I've read quite a few MMF romance novels this year, so this wasn't my first rodeo, but I was so impressed with how this book worked as both a really hot read-for-the-smut book and also a meaningful romance.

Things I loved:
- O'Neal has been incredibly sheltered and raised in an oppressive home, where guilt was often used to control behavior, and I felt like Roni never forgot that through the story. O'Neal certainly overcomes a lot of this, but I thought it made sense that her conflict had a lot to do with guilt.
- On the other hand, I absolutely loved that because of what she had been through, she recognized that maybe she "deserved" two boyfriends instead of just one.
- This book is kinky! Especially for a New Adult novel!
- There is nothing worse than a MMF where the men are completely straight. I am so glad queer sexuality is discussed and that we get an exclusively MM scene. I loved their connection and I'm glad it started before meeting O'Neal and then continued because of her.
- O'Neal's mothers backstory added an interesting element, but probably could have been a bit more developed or resolved. It didn't take away from my enjoyment at all!

This was fun, steamy, and romantic.

The narrator was fantastic for this book and I'll definitely re-listen to this one again!

This book definitely pushed my comfort zone, and I am here for it! Seeing a girl who grew up in purity culture be confident in her sexuality was empowering! To see Auden and Lennox do everything they could to show her that they supported her no matter what was beautiful! I’d love to see more of them!

Really enjoyed this book. It is different than her other stories as this one is a MMF. Roni is a great writer and I have always enjoyed her books. This was a coming into her own story about O'Neal who has been raised very strictly by her grandparents. She has gone against their wishes and enrolled in Bennet college to pursue a journalism degree. Her best friends brother, Auden attends school there and she has always had a crush on him. This story is also about him figuring out some things about his life and also about his roommate Lennox's part in it all of it.

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for this advance listen audiobook.

I have loved some of Roni Loren’s past books so was excited for this. This one is different than what I read from before but did enjoy it. The story of O’Neal, Auden and Lennox was definitely a steamy one. Honestly the O’Neal and Audum pairing did somewhat bore me but when Lennox got added to the mix my intrigue and enjoyment of the story went up. Took a while for me to get into Audum. Really enjoyed the other two though. The side characters where great as well.

In the audiobook narrator Samantha Summers did a great job. I especially loved her Lennox and what she did with the side characters. Overall I enjoyed this read and am giving this book 3.5 stars (4 stars on this grid).

This was SPICEY 🔥🔥🔥 To be honest, I liked it and could totally get on board right up until the almost end. The pet about her mother’s death was ridiculous. It was too much, too over the top to have them both in the same situation. To be honest, without that part I’d give it a solid 4 but that part was so unrealistic it ruined it for me.

🌀Synopsis
O’Neal is finally taking her own path. She’s been incredibly sheltered her whole life from her grandparents- who raised her after her mother’s murder. Now she’s off to college and determined to experience the world.
Her best friend’s brother, Auden, goes to the same school and starts watching out for O’Neal. One drunken night, things go too far and Auden takes O’Neal’s virginity.
It doesn’t stop there, though Auden tries. O’Neal has been in love with Auden since she was a kid and she’s not ready to give up. She decides to make him jealous using his roommate Lennox.
Things take a twist when Auden reveals that he and Lennox regularly share girls and have some odd “kinks” they participate in. O’Neal willingly joins in but then leaves them both out of fear.
When they all realize they love each other, they find their way back to each other- the three of them together and in love.

O'Neal grew up very sheltered. Her mother was murdered when she was in kindergarten and her grandparents were very strict as a result. After high school, she decided to break from their plans for her and go to a co-ed college, instead of the all girls school her grandparents expected her to attend. O'Neal has been in love with her best friend's brother for forever. Auden goes to the same school and helped her move in. O'Neal asks him to "tutor" her and be her first. But Auden has a secret- he likes to be in charge and he also likes to share with his best friend, Lennox. He doesn't want O'Neal to get close because he thinks she will not be able to handle who he really is.

When I had the chance to listen to an advance audio copy of a [author:Roni Loren|4877863] book, I jumped at the chance. I loved her Say Everything series. This was a bit different, as it is a MMF romance. And a spicy one at that. I was a bit apprehensive because I often find "new adult"/college aged characters obnoxious. However, this did not come off that way at all. They were all very mature for their ages.

I really enjoyed the story. The characters had a lot of growth and they also had a lot of chemistry.

Samantha Summers narrates the audio version. No complaints about her performance, but since it is told in three POVs, I do with three narrators had been used.

I received an audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

I love Roni Loren's writing so I knew I'd like this book. What I didn't realize (my fault for going in blind) was how HOT this book was. I'm by no means a prude but this was way more steam than I usually read....and you know what, I was all in for it! I was really happy that the spicy scenes contributed to the storyline and loved the bonus chapter at the end of the audiobook. Fantastic narration....even if I did keep turning it down on my headphones when the kids were around, in fear they might hear!

Y'all... when I tell you I am BLUSHING!!!

I somehow didn't really realize this was a MMF romance, but hot dang... for my girls who like spice... this book is for you! This is definitely a story of self exploration and acceptance, and I can't deny how much I like all three of our main characters. I do wish we could have gotten more of them outside the relationship, but oh well!

If you like a NA Poly Romance with MMF then this is for you.

I adore each of these characters individually and even more when they're all together! I love that O'Neal was able to get some answers about her mom, I just wish she could have gotten all the answers. I also LOVE that they kept the story going after the "resolution". It was entertaining and HOT.

O'Neal has been raised SUPER sheltered and religious and is still so innocent even at 18 and starting college! Auden was raised the same but he's been in college learning himself for years. Lennox has his own demons but he quit trying to please others a long time ago. Get them all together and there go the lessons in life and kink and love.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the opportunity.

Massive thank you @netgalley, dreamscape media and Roni Loren for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. This is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite audiobooks.

I loved this book it was hot, tender, emotional, deep and executed perfectly. I really loved how sensitive moments were treated and addressed. I found it liberating and freeing and an unconventional way of exploring and discovering. I had no idea Roni Loren had such a massive indie backlist i only was aware of her books as i am OBSESSED with her traditionally published 3 book series. My hardest task now is picking which of her backlist to read next.

I want more!

Do check tw before jumping in.

This book was an absolute joy to listen to. With both satisfying spice and emotionally charged exchanges, the narrator creates an immersive world with engaging characters.

O'Neal grew up sheltered from the outside world, and in her pursuit of freedom from her restraints, she kisses her best friend's brother and applies to a university that her grandparents don't approve of. Whilst settling in to the new university far from what she's known, Auden (her best friend's brother) and his roommate, Lennox, show her the ropes of college life and sexual freedom. A perfectly sweet friends-to-lovers arc ensues with slightly kinky passion as O'Neal discovers her taste for both men.

O'Neal is a quietly confident heroine, who, albeit sheltered, pursues her more darker interests at ease. It was refreshing to read a heroine who was inexperienced but not shy in her sexuality, especially as she resists Auden's attempts to safeguard her from the harsher realities of the world. This confidence was entertaining and nicely matched with Lennox's confidence as he enthusiastically supports her to achieve the freedom she craves.

With a side of bdsm, this mmf book, whilst sweeter than my usual dark romance taste, was oh so satisfying and I enjoyed this book through-and-through. The narrator's performance was immersive and provided a great listening experience. Not to mention, that all the praise kink in this book was perfection!! Auden can call me a good girl any day, yes please.

I have some reservations about the swiftness that the subplot was resolved, especially, as it almost gets forgotten near the middle of the book. I know the romance should take centre stage, and it did, but the subplot revolving around O'Neal's mother was so interesting and I would've liked to have known more. There was even potential for some suspense, but that might just be a me desire.

Additionally, Auden's attempts to further keep O'Neal sheltered were frustrating, but it was worth it to see O'Neal stand up for herself and her desires, fiercely. His character developed to see beyond O'Neal as the pure inexperienced girl, but it was no less frustrating in the moment. But this is where, Lennox complements the romance so nicely. And make their bond as a mmf relationship so strong.

I really enjoyed this book, it's a 4.5 out of 5 from me.

- best friend's brother
- mmf relationship
- light bdsm elements
- virgin heroine being taught
- praise galore
- intriguing subplot
- great on audio

The latest from Roni Loren seems to marry the emotional nuance of the Say Everything series with the more explicit physical intimacy of, say, the Loving on the Edge series -- a lovely marriage of sweet and sexy, humor and hotness. While sex scenes dominate (no pun intended) through the book's middle and final acts, O'Neal, Lennox and Auden are figuring out who they are both individually and in the context of their panromantic/polyamorous relationship.

While overall the book's pacing feels solid, there's an obvious ebb and flow to the prose; quieter/slower moments of self-reflection and external plot contrast sharply with high-intensity, faster-feeling scenes when our three MCs are engaged together. It's not a bad thing--just a noticeable feature of the story.

Loren gives herself plenty to do in terms of establishing multiple plot threads in this first-in-series: the relationship, O'Neal's sheltered/religious background, Auden's "double life," O'Neal's mother's unsolved murder, and more. With so much to get on the page, there's a slight deficit on character depth for everyone but O'Neal and Auden. Lennox is sadly short-changed when it comes to interiority, but his dialogue and engagement within the core relationship shows off his character to great effect. Hoping to see more of his narration in book 2.

Samantha Summers' narration is excellent.

4 stars.

The book was okay, but super spicy, which dominated the entire book. The characters and storylines weren’t very well developed. Thanks to NetGalley and the author for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to preview this audio. O’Neal has been protected her entire life by her grandparents’ beliefs and expected to follow the life they have chose for her. She gets a spark of rebellion and chooses to go on her own to the college of her choosing. This is just the beginning of her experiences as she becomes closer to her best friend’s brother Auden and his roommate Lennox. They are harboring many secrets as well that Auden tries to keep hidden from tarnishing O’Neal. This is a MMF romance and a great read. I would recommend to fellow readers.

Thank you, Net Galley, for an audio ARC of Good Girl Fail by Roni Loren. I've read this author before and loved it. But this one blew me away. A great love story that is HOTT 🔥 🔥 🔥. If you like stream, read this!

Thank you @dreamscape_media for a copy of this audiobook. I have enjoyed the author's Say Anything Series and enjoyed this MFF romance. This book is mainly about O'Neal coming of age and discovering herself. I love the forbidden romance between O'Neal with Auden as well as his attraction to Lennox. Lots of steam in the story. I wanted to see more relationship development between these characters, the story felt mostly internal battle about the relationship and then sex.
