I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. This is an extremely detailed book about trees. There is information nearly everything about trees including pine trees, tree ecology, and my personal favorite hug ability. Who knew that was a thing!! The author then has a one page info sheet on just about any tree you can think of.

I really wanted to get to this one, as it seemed interesting. This was requested when I first found out about NetGalley and I had requested so many ARCs that I could not get to all of them before they were archived. If I can find this somewhere for a reasonable price, I will try to get it!

This book is very quirky and unconventional for sure. I found it a bit hard to follow - disjointed. I am a big satire person so I really tried to hang with it but overall it just didn't jive with my kind of funny.

Must Love Trees is a really great resource for someone of any age. I loved the variety in here about types of trees. The book is full of great info but also very funny.

I didn’t know much about trees and now I still don’t?

Thanks to Quarto Publishing for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

From the moment I saw Tobias Mitnick post on his thirst trap Instagram @jewslovetrees that he had written a book, I knew it would be funny. It certainly has funny moments, but unfortunately it is also disjointed and defies genre, perhaps not in a good way. I expected to learn a lot about different types of trees while laughing about Mitnick’s anecdotes and observations, but he admits to not being an expert and sticks to his guns by offering rankings, ratings, and personal stories that seem to be randomly organized and offered. Part 1 is very much like this, but then he does offer a more organized format subsequently. Overall, not what I’d hoped.

What an unique book! This is something totally different from most books on trees. I love the writing style, it's quirky and relatable. The drawings are cute and overall art style is nice. If you are looking for a guide to scientifically identify trees, this is not the most useful book. If you're looking for a fun read with nice casual information on trees, check this book out.

A book all about trees! Infused with lots of humor and facts, this book was a great read. It would make a great gift for the tree lover in your life or yourself!

First up, thank you so much for allowing me to try out this book, sadly, despite that it sounded like a book I would really enjoy.. I didn't. One it was hard to read on my PC (one page instead of two page spread would have helped), but it just felt so disorganised, and I agree with another review, as ramblings. It just hopped from one thing to another, very confusing. I would have liked either photographs or more illustrations, especially when we got to movie trees. I mean, most I could pick up from memory, but others I had to look up, I think it would have helped greatly if we had some illustrations.

Did not like this book at all. The dialogue is boring and seems like it’s just ramblings. For a book about trees there are no actual photos of trees. The illustrations of the trees all look the same. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
