I greatly enjoyed this introspective look into three police departments across the US. The chiefs sound tired, overworked, and often annoyed at the goings on they're supposed to take charge on. While I empathize, I am a staunch believer in a smaller police force and more funding into education and other social matters.

I was really looking forward to this audiobook but unfortunately it wasn't a hit for me. The narration wasn't my favourite voice to listen to and while the story was fairly interesting, it was not enough to make me want to keep listening intently. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the chance to listen to and review this audiobook.
