An amazing finale to this beautiful three book series.
I’ve loved reading about the Starfish Cafe, it was a lovely community and I learned so much about the RNLI too.
Some emotional subjects are spoken about in the story (some were very close to my own heart and life experiences) however they were written about in such a caring and thoughtful manner.
I enjoyed having the two stories of Hollie and Kerry told throughout the book, it was great to see these two great characters flourish despite the situations that they found themselves in.
Once again I was transported to the wonderful world of Whitsborough Bay and loved sharing the comings and going’s of this lovely community.
Picking up a Jessica book is always so exciting as I know I’m going to be moved emotionally and entertained in equal measure.
A perfect read for a summer night!

Sad that this is the end of a triology, but was glad to get a final chance to visit the cafe and see the next stage in the lives of some of the characters. This book has weddings, heartbreak, loss, family reunions and of course more RNLI rescues. A fantastic addition to the series. I was already invested in some of the characters from the previous two books, but loved gettting to kow Kerry and her family.

I'm completely devastated that this is the end of The Starfish Cafe series but what a way to bow out. I've loved each and every second of being part of this series and look forward to seeing the characters pop up in more of Jessica's books.

Each of Jessica's books hold such a special place in my heart, its been such a journey.

Hollie and her friends became like friends to me, its a place I feel like I've visited and know I can return to whenever I want.

As always... Jessica has done it again.... she never disappoints and always brings the best on her books. This is a wonderful end to a fantastic group of people... I am not ready for it to end though!! Please Jessica! Just one more... and one more... and one more!!
Just can't get enough, there is so much more that could be written, I don't want to give any spoilers so I will stop there apart from to say, reading this book was as comforting to me as the best lemon drizzle and hot chocolate you can get from the starfish cafe!

I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with the characters and getting to know the new ones. This was a really wonderful read. Beautifully written which made it difficult to put down. A great mixture of sadness and happiness with the location of the Starfish Cafe adding a lovely touch. I do hope there is another story about the Cafe and its characters.

Redland books are always a great read when you want a story filled with found family and lots of emotions. Great being back at the Starfish Cafe

Wow! As usual, Redland wrote yet another wonderful book! I loved how the characters had real struggles, and real issues to work through. I found it to be so realistic and emotional! I highly recommend her books!

I missed all the wonderful characters in Whitsborough Bay and was glad to get back for another visit. This is the final book in the Starfish Café trilogy and this was a great ending to all the wonderful character arcs and their stories. Hollie who owns the café has been the main character in the stories, but there is always another story alongside hers. This book is Kerry;s story. Kerry works at the Starfish Café, is a wonderful friend and a single mom to four children. Her husband left her when they found out she was pregnant with twins and has had no contact with her or the children since. He hasn't even met his five year old twins, but suddenly wants a relationship. What is she to do? As Hollie and Jake get closer to their wedding, Jake's sister shows up, moving to Whitsborough Bay with her husband and teenage son. It doesn't take long for her to begin disrupting Jake's life.

I really enjoy Jessica Redland's stories with their uplifting and hopeful messages, but also all the trials her characters go through to get there. The characters are like friends and even if this is the only book in the series you pick up (although I recommend them all), you will become invested in these well developed characters. My heart broke a few times as I read this one with children who had been abandoned by their father, a woman who was never told what went wrong in their marriage and a young boy who's mother has mental health issues, but he just wants a normal family life. The community and café all pull together to support anyone who needs it and I want to move there. There is a romance as well, which was lovely, but is only part of the story. This story has love and loss, family estrangements and reconciliation, as well as a wedding, but it also deals with abandonment, mental health, guilt, forgiveness and adventure. Thanks for another wonderful Whitsborough Bay story, Jessica Redland. I recommend this book and the full trilogy.

I just love this series! Jessica really has a gift for storytelling and she is one of my all time favorite authors and this book once again confirmed that. I was so moved by both Holly and Kerry's stories. I literally cried, read with lumps in my throat, a pain in my stomach, but I also smiled and get a warm fuzzy feeling. Basically I got all the feels... I was even scared at one point.

I love these series (HH and this one) where we read more and more about the main characters of the series, in this case Holly & Jake, but then each installment dives deep into the story of another character in the community. Kerry, a single mother working in Holly's cafe is just lovely. Having been a single mother myself I could really relate to her, although I only had one child then whereas she had 4. There was really a lot happening in this book, never a dull moment and my emotions were all over the place.

First of all even if I wasn’t a big fan of this author’s books, I would be drawn to this book because of its beautiful cover.
I am always so happy when I see this author is releasing a new book. I have read so many of them including all in this series. I have really loved the Hedgehog series she’s released.
Summer Nights at the Starfish Cafe is the third and final book in this series.
I have loved meeting the characters, they feel like family now.
Throughout the series the characters have their ups and downs.
The book is written from the heart, a perfect women’s fiction book full of emotions and heart.
Full of family, friends and pure emotion. A wonderful heartwarming read.
I loved how uplifted I felt while reading this and greatly look forward to more by this author.

I am delighted to be black at The Starfish Café with Hollie, Kerry and Jake as I adore this place and, in my head, – it totally exists!
This book is part of a linked series however can be read as a standalone. I’m sure you’d not want to miss out on the other wonderful development of the characters and their relationships and lives.
The setting of the Starfish Café is just stunning. I can hear the waves, breathe in the salty air and take myself there every time I open the book as the description is just so vivid and beautiful.
Although the series revolves around the café, and the surrounding area, this installment is focused on Kerry – a single mum who works in The Starfish Café. This is Kerry’s journey to putting her past to rest, keeping her children happy and safe and finally feeling confident enough to consider moving into a new relationship.
Of course, there are plenty of ups and downs for our beloved characters in The Café and it’s an emotional roller coaster experiencing everything with them. I completely took each character into my heart and felt as though I was one of them and when things got tough, I definitely shed a tear or two.
Jessica really bring the lives of loves of The Starfish café to live with such warm heartedness and reading this series has been a pure joy and delight. I am sad that this is the end of our visits there but I cannot wait to see where she takes us next.

While Hollie and Jake are all set for a lovely, summer wedding, they are presented with some news which might send their plans awry. Can Hollie dig deeper into her resources of courage and overcome this situation?

Meanwhile, Kerry, a single mum, who loves her job at the Café, seems to be hiding a deep sadness, which attempts to hide. But when someone out of her past makes an appearance, she must decide how she’s going to respond to this. Can she deal with this and move past it and look for a happier future for her little family?

It was great reconnecting with some of the characters from the previous books and getting know, like or dislike the new characters.

A story of finding love and strength within oneself, while being supported by a wonderful community.

I absolutely loved this third book in the heartwarming Starfish Café series.

A fantastic read that I really enjoyed. Wonderful, sweet story with characters who were relatable and fun.

essica Redland has yet again pulled me into another great book, I am only sorry that I didn't start the Starfish Café series sooner as I believe this is the last one in this series - nooooo!
Coming in at book three, I was left to feel like I already knew these characters, at the beginning there is a character list stating who they are so I didn't feel lost when reading ( I love that the author provides this in her books!)

This story revolves around Hollie, the owner of the Starfish Café and her upcoming marriage to Jake alongside Kerry who has to deal with the estranged father of her children's suddenly appearing after walking out seven years ago! There is alot to unpack for both women in this book, we are dealing with family issues from Jake in the form of his deranged sister - never hated a character so much by the way than I did her! To a wedding, a miscarriage and Kerry dealing with the return of her ex-husband who suddenly decides he wants to be a father.


This was a great book, tactfully written with regards to the miscarriage storyline, and all round just another brilliant read from Ms Redland.

It was exciting to return to Starfish but I am sad that it has come to an end. Hollie and Kerry have a rollercoaster of a Summer . Reuniting with old friends was exhilarating and I know that I went on a rollercoaster ride of emotions alongside the characters. There are happy bits as well as sad but one thing is certain it was a pleasure to read and I wouldn't change a thing. Jessica Redland does it again with a beautiful uplifting story.

This is the final visit to the Starfish Cafe series but I hope that there will e the odd visit there within some new books set around the area. Family and friendship is central to the story as ever and adds a real feeling of warmth and emotion to the story. There are some difficult themes behind the story and you really feel for Hollie and Jake as events unfold. Nevertheless, there is always the feeling of hope and that better times will come.

Alongside Holly’s and Jake’s story, we are invited into Kerry’s life and see how she manages to juggle her demanding family with personal issues. She emerges as an independent and likeable character who has many vulnerable moments but who never loses sight of the importance of her children in her life. The Starfish Cafe with its feeling of community is always there in the background as a place to get strength and friendship. This has been a lovely series within the Whitsborough Bay family of novels and highlights courage and working for others through the inspiring Lifeboat Service.

Redland is one of my absolute favourite authors for feel-good fiction and her books are always guaranteed five star winners for me.

This is the third and final installment in the Starfish Café series, I'm sad that it's finishing but it just means that there's another new series or addition to my bookshelves on its way, and Redland always manages to incorporate an old character or two into any new books, so fingers crossed it's not the last we hear from Holly and Kerry.

It was definitely a summer to remember down in Whitsborough Bay...we've a wedding to attend, there's the problem of an absent father, a new baby and so much more.

I apologise for the delays in posting my review, but I had to finish it first and it wouldn't have been fair to half read and review.

The third and final book in The Starfish Café series and what a book to finish with!

It was lovely reconnecting with Holly, Jake and Pickle and I was hoping for a smooth time for them. Unfortunately more heartache befalls them, although it's not all sadness as there are some wonderful, heartwarming moments.

I really enjoyed getting to know Kerry and her children, what a great storyline. What a piece of work Cameron, her ex husband, is.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and couldn't put it down. So many lovely (and not so lovely) characters, old and new. On a side note, there is a serious topic addressed and I know it was written from the author's experience. This is something I've also experienced and could totally relate to, so thank you.

A wonderful heartwarming and emotional read. I would highly recommend this series if you haven't read it already.
