Their Cold Hearts by Carla Kovach is a thrilling crime mystery that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. Sasha is a proud owner of a cozy apartment, and she loves her job of finding accommodation for homeless people. However, her past seems to haunt her, and secrets from her dark past start to unravel when a body is found at a local shelter. Evidence related to the victim has been found at the same location where the most devastating moment of Sasha’s life took place, and she fears for her safety. As the body count rises, Sasha realizes that she might be next on the list of a killer who knows her secrets.

Kovach's writing style is fast-paced and engaging, with multiple points of view that provide a unique perspective on the crime and its history. The tension builds steadily throughout the book, and the plot twists keep readers guessing until the very end. The characters are well-developed, and the main protagonist, Sasha, is relatable and sympathetic.

Overall, Their Cold Hearts is a gripping and suspenseful novel that is sure to appeal to fans of crime and mystery genres. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery.

Sasha’s job is to find a home for the homeless people and she absolutely loves the job. She works with Trevor and the aim is to find a permanent home for them, not just a room somewhere in a hostel. Sasha likes the flat she lives in and the security she feels with the buzzer entry system until it gets broken. She has a dark secret from her past that she tries to make sure stays hidden but it feels like someone may be trying to make her pay for it by harassing her with silent phone calls any time of the night. There is someone on an electric scooter that hangs around the car park keeping an eye on her flat and her. He almost tried to run her over one day as she made her way to her car and she is sure that he’s the one responsible for the broken kitchen window.

DI Gina Harte was called to the Cleevesford Cleaver Hostel where the body of Wesley Reid has been found, dead in his room and she was required to investigate. He was stabbed in the neck and a pound coin had been left on his forehead. She couldn’t remember anything like it happening before. Trevor was called in and he calls Sasha as technically it’s her that looks after the hostel. Everyone wants to leave. There are no clues as to who the murderer is.

A few days later, DI Gina Harte and her team are called to a second body, again with a pound coin left on their forehead. It turns out that the lady involved had been having problems with someone on an electric scooter according to her next door neighbour.

Who is this killer? Who is riding the scooter? Why are they being killed?

Another great read from Carla Kovach, just love the DI Gina Harte books! Lots of twists and turns in this one makes for a great read and it is well written. Great descriptive writing with a brilliant plot and a great twist towards the end. A great series but it can be read as a standalone.

Thank you to Netgalley, Bookouture and Carla Kovach for an ARC in return for an honest review.

Once again, Carla Kovach does it again. This is another fantastic instalment of the DI Hart series.
This is dark, thrilling and a little terrifying. I love the DI Hart series and you'd think after 13 books it would get a little boring or repetitive but it just doesn't, if anything - they keep getting better.

This is book number 13 in the Detective Gina Harte series but it didn’t matter that I hadn’t read any of the others previously. I went into this with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
.
.
The book is written from a few different POVs and at first I found it a bit difficult to keep track of what was happening. Initially it all seemed a bit woolly and I wasn’t quite sure how the story would all knit together at the end. I needn’t have worried though as it all came together perfectly! It really does fill you with suspense as the drama ramps up and you’re continually left asking the question, “Who is it?”
.
.
Did I see the plot twist coming? Definitely not! But did it all make sense? Yes, it did. I loved the depth of the characters and the fact that they’re not all stereotypical. I loved that DI Gina Harte is a grandmother! I can see it really being a series that I’d want to invest time in reading (even though I’d have 12 books to catch up on).
.
.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Their Cold Hearts and would definitely recommend to anyone who loves a good true crime/thriller/suspense mix up! I’d like the thank NetGalley and Carla Kovach for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Their Cold Hearts #13 Gina Harte series
An excellent new installment in what is an epic and underrated police procedural series. I read this one in a single sitting. When I first picked up #1 in this series, I knew I was onto something awesome and proceeded to devour the entire series up to this most recent release. I can’t wait for the author to write more. After 13 books you would have thought this one would lose pace or start to lag but somehow the author manages to keep our attention and the series fresh and exciting with each new book. I love Gina Harte as a character, especially that she is a grandmother! You don’t see that often for a lead in a crime novel. I’d recommend starting the series at the beginning (as its just really good) but there is no reason why you couldn’t jump straight into this book if you don’t want to read the rest.

BLOG TOUR REVIEW

Review for 'Their Cold Hearts' by Carla Kovach.

Read and reviewed via NetGalley for Carla Kovach, Bookouture publishers and Bookouture anonymous

Publication date 14th April 2023.

This is the eighth book I have read by this author. I have previously read 'Their Silent Graves' , 'The Broken Ones', 'One Left Behind', 'Her Dying Wish', 'Find Me', 'One Girl Missing' and 'What She Did' which I highly recommend. It is also the thirteenth book in the fantastic and addictive 'DI Gina Harte' series but can easily be read as a standalone.

I was originally drawn to this book by its eye catching cover and its intriguing synopsis and title. The synopsis stated that 'Fans of Angela Marsons, Cara Hunter and Clare Mackintosh will love Their Cold Hearts – a totally thrilling and addictive crime thriller that will have you up all night!.' I am a huge fan of all three of these amazingly talented authors so am looking forward to seeing if this lives up to this statement. I am also a huge fan of Carla and if this is half as good as 'One Left Behind', 'The Broken Ones', 'Their Silent Graves', 'Her Dying Wish', 'One Girl Missing' 'Find Me' and 'What She Did' it is sure to be a page turning read. I must admit I was also biased due to the publisher being Bookouture. I have yet to read a book published by Bookouture that I haven't enjoyed. Hopefully this won't be the first... Watch this space! (Written before I started reading the book).

This novel consists a prologue, 63 chapters and an epilogue. The chapters are short to medium in length so easy to read 'just one more chapter' before bed...OK, I know yeah right, but still just in case!

This book is based in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 , UK 🇬🇧 . I always enjoy when books are set in the UK as I'm from Wales and have sometimes visited areas mentioned in the book. This makes it easier to picture where the scenes are set at times. I have in fact visited England on many occasions including going there on holiday last and this year so am looking forward to possibly recognising name places.

This book is written in third person perspective and the protagonists are Detective Gina Harte and Sasha. The benefits of third person perspective with multiple protagonists are that it let's you see the bigger picture of what's going on and you get to know more characters more, what they are thinking and what they are doing. It feels like you get to see the whole picture and not miss out in anything. To have the benefit of both first and third person perspective ensures you don't miss out on anything.

WELL, WELL, WELL CARLA DOES IT AGAIN!!!! YET ANOTHER EXPLOSIVE PAGE TURNER BY AN EXTREMELY TALENTED AUTHOR!!

This book is yet another riveting instalment in this gripping and addictive series. Filled with vivid descriptions it is easy to get lost in the pages for hours. The cover and synopsis work perfectly with the storyline. This book hit every possible emotion and I loved every part of it.

Yet another explosive storyline in this absolutely riveting and addictive series!! The storyline was unique, very fast paced, realistic and filled with suspense, tension, secrets, action and lots red herrings to throw you off the scent. I was completely invested in the storyline and completely shocked by who the killer turned out to be and never expected them in the slightest!!! I always love it when I'm shocked as there's nothing worse than working out the killer and your not even half way through the book yet. Carla manages this every single time which is just one of the reasons I absolutely loved picking up her books as she always proves me wrong. However, DO NOT tell my partner about this as he can never know and especially the fact that I am PLEASED to be proved wrong would absolutely shock him and I would never live it down!! The plot has so many layers and so many twists, turns and mini plots there is always something to keep you on the edge of your seat!!! Carla's evocative writing skills really brings every one of her books to life dropping the reader straight into the storyline and ensuring they hear, feel and see everything that is going on around them keeping them on the edges of their seats throughout. I lost count of how many times I looked up and it took me a few minutes to realise where I actually was as I was so immersed in the book! This book discusses homelessness and I am a huge believer that all of these should be discussed more often to help show people the different sides of being homeless and what they can experience. I have spoken to one homeless gentleman I meant who had been beaten up and urinated on just because he was on the streets when people came out of a pub drunk and they thought it was great fun. Situations like this make me absolutely sick and my heart goes out to so many genuine homeless people in the community. Many of them are not in the position to be able to help themselves and the council is unable to help them all. Carla has done another amazing job on touching on important subjects and as always shows the humanity needed and also portrays the importance of showing humanity to both the homeless as well as the officials who are just unable to help them no matter how much they want to. This book really goes to show that things are not always black and white!! I love that several chapters are from the perspective of several different people which gives an excellent insight to how they are feeling and what they are going through. As always Carla has done an immense amount of research and it shines throughout the book. The fact that she has her own personal experiences with hostels, ensure you read Carla's author notes at the back to find out more, brings the story to life even more as well as showing how real the problem of homelessness is. . An extremely well written and thought provoking action packed crime thriller. It is filled with loss, mystery, crime, suspense, tension and is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. As always this book has left me wanting more in the Gina Harte series!!

CLEAR YOUR SCHEDULES BEFORE STARTING THIS AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN!!!

Although this is the thirteenth book in the series I had absolutely no problems reading it without the others. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.

I always enjoy picking up any of Carla's amazing books as they are always guaranteed to be page turners but I especially love picking up her Detective Gina Harte series as Gina and her team have all become like family and friends to me over the series and Gina's evocative writing really brings them to life leaving me devastated when I come to the end of each book and have to say goodbye never knowing when I will get to meet them all again. I absolutely love Gina and the fact that she is a strong female role model who has got a history herself makes it even better. I enjoyed meeting all the previous characters along with many new ones who all had their own personalities and were STRONG characters, well maybe not all!! A certain character, a few actually I could not stand but I'm extremely pleased that particular characters got their comeuppance, I won't say more than that as I don't want to spoil it for others but once you've read it I'm sure you'll know who I mean. I love the dynamics in Gina's team and the fact they all work so well together. Each of her team has their own unique traits and personalities and I love meeting them in each new storyline that Carla brings out. I won't say anymore than that as not to spoilt it for future readers. There were a few characters that I did not like, I would be shocked if I ever came across a book where I liked them all but one of the things that did shock me was the fact that I actually ended up emphasising with the killer and would even go as far as saying I understood why they did what they did but I wont say anymore than that as I do not want to spoil it for others!! Regardless of whether you love or hate the characters, Carla ensures each one plays their parts perfectly and the book just wouldn't be the same without each of them in it! I cannot wait to reconcile with this amazing team in the next addition to this absolutely amazing and one of my favourite book series'!

If you have never read this series I highly recommend starting now. It is always great if you can start at the beginning of a series but the brilliant thing with Carla's books is that it really doesn't matter where you start as they can be read in any order.

THIS IS A MUST READ, ACTION PACKED, UNPUTDOWNABLE PAGE TURNER THAT WOULD MAKE A BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE/TV SERIES. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT HAPPEN!!

CONGRATULATIONS CARLA ON YET ANOTHER EXPLOSIVE INSTALLMENT IN AN EPIC SERIES!!! This is exactly why you are in my top 3 crime authors and series list!!

Detective Gina Harte has a difficult case to solve. The timing could not be worse. Having taken some vacation time, Gina is enjoying time with her granddaughter when her boss (and former lover) calls and says he needs her to take a case. With babysitting provided by her colleague's wife, she agrees to go to the scene. A dead man is found in transitional housing for homeless people. There are no witnesses or clues; there are many questions. In the investigation, as another murder occurs, the case requires even more time away from Gina's granddaughter, causing her to feel guilty. Her struggles also involve her boss professing love for her and asking Gina to take him back. It's a great mystery with a surprising end.

Gina and the team are back with a bang and I think this may be the best one yet! Its twisty, turny and keeps you guessing right until the end! Kovach writes a fantastic page turner and creates characters and plots that get under your skin, suck you in and always leave you wanting more. I'm already looking forward to the next installment! Highly recommend this series 🧡

DI Gina Harte is one of my favorite detectives. She is very good at her job and also relatable. Since this is book 13, I’ll mention these can be read as a standalone novel. The case from this book is new, but the lives of the detectives’ progress in each book. Of course, you should know you’ll love the series so much you will want to read them all.

The case is complex and will keep you wondering as the team tries to solve it. I really liked Sasha, the social worker, who figures prominently in this one. She has a tough job and seems to really care. This one was fast paced with twists and turns. I liked the extra clues by the killer of the pound notes and herb smell. I just saw Hadestown and the pound notes had me thinking about if they could tie to mythology. I also liked that the author drew a liitle bit of attention to homelessness and how that is addressed in the UK. And my new word from this book is abattoir. You’ll have to read the book to figure out how this plays into the book.

This series really is a great one if you are a fan of crime procedurals. You won’t regret picking this one and will wish you had read this series sooner.

It was a slow starter for me, but it soon picks up pace, the adrenalin kicks in and it's a roller-coaster ride all the way through to the explosive ending.

'A pound is not just a pound and a herb is not just a herb'

Their Cold Hearts is book thirteen in the Detective Gina Harte series, which I may need to start from the beginning, as this was such a gripping and compelling read, and if they're all as good as this one...

Many thanks to Bookouture for my tour spot.

Their Cold Hearts is another fantastic book in the Detective Gina Harte series. Gina is supposed to be on a little vacation from work so that she can look after her granddaughter while her daughter is in Paris. The station calls on evening as a body has been found at a local shelter and her boss wants Gina to get a look at the scene before it's cleared. Gina agrees to come in but drops her granddaughter at the station first. Friends there have agreed to keep an eye on her and entertain her.

Sasha keeps getting a phone call in the middle of the night and when she answers the phone, nobody says anything. It's eery and it keeps happening. Sasha's job is finding shelter for homeless people and eventually helping them to find an apartment of their own. She loves her work and finds it rewarding. Sasha has something in her past that she's ashamed of and feels like this job does a lot to give back. Sasha finds out that a body was found murdered at one of the buildings she uses as a shelter for the homeless. She heads out to calm the remaining residents and try to find out what happened.

Gina arrives at the murder scene and gears up to go in. There are a good many people that have gathered even though it's very early. Once inside, Gina is told that there are homeless people in each apartment. The murdered man was Wesley. He was stabbed to death and bled out quickly. When Gina enters she sees him lying on his blood soaked bed with a coin in the middle of his forehead. No one knows why, but they know it was placed there intentionally. Maybe it's a signature of the murderer. Sasha is waiting outside and is interviewed about the murdered man as the police need any information they can get. Sasha hadn't seen him since placement and knew very little.

As the team comes together to share info, it is apparent that Gina will be needed and her vacation is over. She wouldn't mind if it only affected her, but she was supposed to be spending time with Bailey. Hannah, her daughter, was going to be furious if she found out Gina was working. Gina had promised to take off and watch Bailey so that Hannah could go on the trip to Paris. Hannah still holds grudges against Gina from her own childhood, so this won't go over well. Luckily, one of the officers wives wants to watch Bailey the next day. She's going to bake cupcakes with her and take her to the zoo. Bailey is excited, but somewhat sad, that she won't be with Nanny Gina.

A couple of days later another body is discovered murdered in the same way. Are the victims related? Sasha recognizes the second victim and it sends shivers through her. Could this be related to what happened many years ago? Is the message spray painted on the wall meant for Sasha? Why is she being terrorized by a kid on an electric scooter? Sasha is scared and doesn't feel safe at home anymore. She's seen someone watching her and now someone has broken a window in her house. Will Sasha be safe? Will she figure out who is terrorizing her? Are the murders related to her past? Will Gina be able to figure out the murders and how they're related before there's another one? Will Gina's daughter find out about Bailey spending time with people from work?

Their Cold Hearts keeps you on your toes as you're trying to figure out who the murderer could be. I love books that keep you on edge and this one definitely does! Carla Kovach has delivered another thrilling chapter in the Gina Harte series. I rate this book 4 stars and give it a high recommendation. I'd like to thank NetGalley and Bookouture for an advanced copy of Their Cold Hearts in exchange for a fair review. #TheirColdHearts

"Someone is watching you...they know your secret..."

We're back with DI Gina Harte who is very much looking forward to spending time with her granddaughter Gracie while her daughter Hannah is taking a much-needed holiday in Paris with her partner. However, as luck would have it, in the midst of building a den with Gracie she receives a call to brutal murder scene...despite being booked on holiday leave. Gina is torn. She knows this will cause yet more friction between her and Hannah, after finally gaining her trust back, and yet she cannot let a murderer remain loose on the streets of Cleevesford. So she accepts the case and leaves Gracie in the capable hands of her boss and on-and-off-again lover DCI Chris Briggs, who later informs Gina that Gracie has had the the best time having dressed up in an oversized stab vest sporting a police had and arresting half of the relief. But none of that will wash with Hannah, Gina knows, but resolves to face that later. Right now, she has a killer to catch.

The body of a homeless man, Wesley Reid, has been found in the hostel in which he has been staying by one of the other residents and soon everyone staying in the Cleevesford Cleaver want to be relocated - NOW! But there is little anyone can do with no space available, which is what Sasha Kennedy faces daily in trying to find suitable premises for those who need it. Sadly, there are never enough rooms or flats available and the homeless community is endless. But Sasha does her best with what little resources she has...sometimes even paying for a hotel room for the odd one on occasion out of her own pocket. She just wishes there was more that she could do.

When Sasha recognises the murdered man she begins to wonder if the past is coming back to haunt her. Particularly as she has been targeted by a youth on an electric scooter outside her own flat with the odd flat tyre, messages pushed through her mailslot and more recently a written message in graffiti in one of the older buildings set to be reopened for community housing.

"I will make you pay."

Meanwhile, 18 year Macie Perrin is a true-crime YouTuber wanting her own fifteen minutes of fame. She gets herself caught up in the mystery and finds herself talking directly with the killer. She is so excited that this will mean big things for her! But is she getting in over her head?

And then there is Gina. When a second victim is discovered, her team are busy trying to find the common thread linking them with so few clues. A one pound coin and the smell of burning sage.

"When is a pound not a pound or a herb not a herb?"

Added to all this is her dilemma with Gracie. She is meant to be looking after her and, despite the whale of a time Gracie is having with her colleague's wife Mrs O, her greatest fears are realised when her ex-mother-in-law sees her working when she should be looking after Gracie...and is on hand to swoop in and take over when Hannah gets wind of it all.

This series has always been one of my favourites and I've always loved the camaraderie between Gina and her team. There is a hint of what went on before between her and Briggs, their on-and-off relationship once again seemingly lingering in the background, though Gina is far from forgiving of Brigg's past behaviour and to be honest I can't say that I blame her in this instance. And then there is Hannah. That girl got on my nerves in the early part of the series and finally I thought we were past all that. But no. One wrong move and she is quick to judge her mother once again, forgetting all the sacrifices "she" made as a single mother for her laying all the blame squarely at Gina's feet. And still, after placing Gracie in Hetty's care she STILL blames Gina for what happened! Yet Hetty was the one who supposedly had care of the child! That really annoyed me and I'm so peeved at Hannah who really cannot give her mother a break. Ever. And Gina? She knew how Hannah would react so why did she take the case? She was on leave. She was entitled to that leave so why just say "thanks but no thanks"? Because Gina must single-handedly bring down all of Cleevesford's killers, no matter what. Sorry Gina, but family come first...always.

Although I thoroughly enjoy this series, I admit to being completely frustrated by the behaviour of some of those once again...for reasons I state above. That aside, this is one of the best series out there and I can't wait to see what's in store for Gina next. I hope she gets her personal life sorted between Briggs and Hannah's bad attitude.

Overall, a good solid thriller and addition to the series but it is recommended, if coming in late to the party, to start from the beginning to appreciate the characters and the series in full...complete with the underlying backstories.

I would like to thank #CarlaKovach, #Netgalley and #Bookouture for an ARC of #TheirColdHearts in exchange for an honest review.

The 13th book in the Gina Harte series is a pretty solid crime thriller/murder mystery.

I really enjoyed the investigative side of this story, this is where Gina is at her strongest.

On a more personal note, her relationship with her boss Briggs is still uncertain - whilst he begs for forgiveness and to let him back into her life. Gina, still feeling some hurt keeps him at arms length.

One relationship (ok, 2) that is getting annoying is that between Gina and her daughter Hannah. I’m sorry but what an ungrateful madam! And no one should put up with that kind of behaviour from an ex mother in law!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for my review.

Many thanks to both Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of Their Cold Hearts.

This 13th book in the Detective Gina Harte Books is the first I've read. It switches primarily between the point of view of Gina and Sasha Kennedy, who is a housing officer. After a resident in a community house for the unhoused is murdered, Sasha, too, starts being targeted and has no idea why. Then there is the point of view of Macie Perrin, an 18-year-old girl who cares only about her crime/ghost blog, becoming famous, and who is ultimately contacted by the killer.

Reading about the unhoused who need a helping hand, or the frustration and angst felt by housing officials who are unable to do more to help them, made my heart hurt.

I absolutely loved Gina when she was in Detective Mode. But when she wasn't? The personal decisions she made pertaining to her daughter and granddaughter drove me batty.

There is a huge number of readers who adore this series but I just can't see myself becoming one of them. If the books contained just information about Gina Hart, the detective? Yes! But I don't care to read any more about her personal life.

But give this series a try. The number of readers who love this series FAR outweighs the few who don't. You may love it!

My thanks to Bookouture for an eARC via NetGalley of ‘Their Cold Hearts’ by Carla Kovach.

This is Book 13 in Kovach’s highly popular D.I. Gina Harte series of police procedurals set in the fictional Midlands town of Cleevesford. I have read most of the previous books in the series though Carla Kovach does provides background information so that readers new to the series don’t feel lost.

DI Gina Harte is looking after her granddaughter, Gracie, while her daughter, Hannah, is away on a long weekend break. However, when a body is found at a local hostel she has to go into the office and lead the investigation. Oh dear, though Gina’s team help find solutions so that the little girl is looked after.

In another narrative thread Sasha feels a deep commitment to her job of finding accommodation for homeless people. She has worked hard to leave her dark past behind and to make amends for the accident from fifteen years ago that haunts her memories. Yet someone is harassing her and she’s increasingly concerned that they have uncovered her secret. The news of the body has spooked her as they were found at the site of the accident.

When a second body is found Sasha becomes even more frightened as the victim was an old friend and the only other person who knew Sasha’s secret. Is someone coming for her next? No further details to avoid spoilers.

The narrative moves between a few perspectives including Gina and her team, Sasha, and Macie, a young true crime enthusiast.

As usual with this excellent series, ‘Their Cold Hearts’ had me glued to my seat and I read in a single day. The conclusion was nail-biting tense.

Aside from working the main case, I certainly felt for Gina as she’s been trying so hard to improve her relationship with Hannah and then work inevitably demands her attention and Hannah goes ballistic. I am not at all sympathetic to Hannah, finding her manipulative and unsupportive rather than being proud of her mother’s achievements. Still, it’s a change to the unsupportive police spouse trope. Oh and don’t get me started on Hetty, Gina’s ex-mother-in-law…

Overall, ‘Their Cold Hearts’ was an excellent police procedural and I am always happy to recommend Carla Kovach’s books to lovers of crime fiction.

Here is an author just just takes my breath away with every book she writes. Their Cold Hearts by Carla Kovach is the thirteen book in excellent Detective Gina Harte series and this book did not disappoint! I loved it

When she shuts the door behind her, so relieved to be in the safety of her own home. But tonight her house is the most dangerous place she could be. Someone has been waiting for her, and they know she’s home alone…..............What a great start this was.....I just wanted more!

Sasha loves her job finding accommodation for homeless people, and she’s proud of the small but cosy apartment she rents on the good side of town. She’s worked hard to leave her dark past behind her and make amends for the accident that still haunts her memories. She knows she was innocent, though she’s still careful about who and what she tells of her old life. But not all secrets stay hidden forever…

When her phone rings loudly in the middle of the night, Sasha fears what she’ll hear when she picks up.........a deathly silence. It’s happened every night for weeks.

Is it a childish prank, or a chilling warning that someone has uncovered her secret?

But, Secrets have a way of surfacing!!!!

The news of a body found at a local shelter means her worst nightmare has come true. It can’t be a coincidence that evidence related to the victim has been found at the same location where the most devastating moment of Sasha’s life took place.

Days later, a second body is found and Sasha’s heart pounds wildly as she takes in the victim’s unforgettable green eyes. She hasn’t seen her in a long time, but she’d know her old friend anywhere. She was the only other person who knew Sasha’s secret, so how can Sasha prove her innocence now?

Sasha doesn’t know who’s coming for her, but she’s certain of one thing: she’s next on the list…......WoW!!!!!! This book is So Good

I highly recommend this book and another five start read!

Their Cold Hearts by Carla Kovach.
Detective Gina Harte Book 13.
She shuts the door behind her, relieved to be in the safety of her own home. But tonight her house is the most dangerous place she could be. Someone has been waiting for her, and they know she’s home alone…
Brilliant read. Shocking and gripping and twisty. Loved it. 5*.

This is a MUST READ in this popular series. The 13th book but don't worry, you can read it without being confused. I loved everything about this book, especially detective Gina Harte. I finished it one sitting. I was that anxious to know who our killer was. If you love suspense and being on the edge, this is the book.
