Lane has survived a fall that killed her boyfriend, Kyle. She can't remember exactly what happened, and returns to Kyle's cottage to collect her belongings, hoping to also recall the details of the fall.
A detective has been to see her, asking about two missing women, who Lane has never heard of. And then Lane starts receiving excerpts from one of those women's diary.
She questions all that she knew of Kyle.

I love Mary Burton's books. I don't think that I have read a bad one.
This book does not disappoint. It left the hairs on my arms standing up, and kept me riveted from the first chapter.
The suspense just keeps the reader engaged.

The twist at the end is just mind boggling. I recommend this book wholeheartedly.

“What the hell did I just read?”… freaking awesome… The twists do not stop until the very last page!! Recommended for mystery/suspense lovers.

Before giving my review I have to clarify one thing, I found this book in the "romance" category, but in my opinion, it has nothing to do with romance, is more general fiction/thriller/mystery; so, if you are looking for even a romantic suspense this one is not for you, because the romance part is little and full of plot twists.

That said, I really enjoyed this book, it was really hard to put it down, the story is catchy, full of suspense, and you have to keep reading, you cannot stop.
Some plot twists were a bit predictable, something you understand within the first pages, but others are just mind blowing, really well done.
