I really enjoyed this second installment. I was a little concerned I was going to have issues remembering what happened in book 1, but as soon as I started reading this, it all came flooding back.

Maybe I should have known and seen the twist coming, but I didn't. I actually spent most of the book liking Killian over Braxton - maybe I'm crazy or I just have an insane weakness for characters named Killian. So when everything happened (iykyk) I was completely shocked. Dont get me wrong, I loved it but omfg I wasn't ready.
On top of all the drama going on in Natasha's personal life, the whole history element is still so good. I'm a massive fan of these kind of stories that use history to solve modern day mysteries - its so fun and keeps you so invested in what's going on.

I can't wait to read the next one and see what's going to happen next!

This is definitely one of my new favorite YA series. Time travel, murder and intrigue all mixed together to create the perfect storm of a truly fantastic book. Tasha now knows exactly why she is there at Gray Wolf, as well as why her father never came home. The love triangle has most definitely been broken and she seems to have become friends with the person she thought she couldn’t trust at all. I can’t wait to find out what will happen next and am impatiently waiting for the next installment in this series!!!

The Story was gripping from start to finish. I loved how the story continued smoothly with the ending in book 1. I couldn't put the book down. Definitely a 5 Star read!

The second visit to this world certainly did not disappoint! The setting of Florence was absolutely delightful and I found myself excited to revisit Gray Wolf and Natasha. The adventurous spirit and magical influences in this book were enthralling and I can only hope that, in the future, my love of this world and all that is involved will be fulfilled in a fresh and exciting way! I absolutely recommend this book!

3,5/5 ⭐

I definitely liked this book better than Stealing Infinity. Some of the same things kept bothering me, but on the other hand I was waaaaaay more invested in the story this time. It doesn’t take long to remember what the first book was about again because there are various hints dropped in the first chapters to get you up to speed. De writing style is also very fluent and inviting. Although, just like in book one, certain things are more being told than shown. Sometimes even seemingly coming out of the blue, instead of being slowly and discreetly woven into the story before the big reveal. The thing that bothered me the most is that the secrets being revealed to Tascha in the last 20% of the book are things you already know as a reader from the very beginning of the book because they are mentioned in the prologue that’s being told from another POV. Additionally, Tascha’s decisions and actions made me frown more than once. Nonetheless it was an enjoyable read.

Thank you Netgalley for this eARC.

I was so excited for the second installment in this series! I couldn’t wait to be back and this book didn't disappoint. I loved the continued exploration of Grey Wolf and the world within its walls. This book also takes them to Florence, which is one of my favorite places in the world. I love hearing about things I’ve seen old when they were new. This is a YA book in both characters age and contents. I love slipping back into the mind of a teenage girl. It’s just all so dramatic there.

This book was just as good as the first one! I have to say that Alyson Noel's writing has seriously improved since her first book series (that I read years and years ago). I am very invested in what's going to happen to Natasha and her friends, and to see who really isn't her friend as well! Definitely kept me entertained and I read through it in less than 2 days!

4 Stars. I went in expecting the worst and came out with exceeded expectations. I know not everyone enjoys the time travel troup but this series has the knowledge of historical events and the real art mixed with sci-fi/fantasy to makes it enjoyable. I love stories that can blend the real with fiction and time travel is a great way to do it. The romance is a bit fast with characters and shaking off betrayal is way faster than I could really see but this was meant to be a fun read. Yes, it is not the best written, it's YA. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Things are heating up in this fantastic follow up to Stealing Infinity. In this installment, Natasha has settled into her role at Gray Wolf Academy. She's prepared to travel through time to find the second of the missing pieces of the Antikythera mechanism for the school's head, Arthur. She's also deepening her relationship with Braxton. But... Braxton seems to be keeping secrets, and Killian just keeps popping up. Who can she trust with her heart? Things come to a head on a trip to Renaissance Italy, when Natasha will learn the truth, not just about these boys, but also about herself.

I really enjoyed this one, once I got a ways in and recollected the events from the previous novel. You definitely do need to read these in order, and I don't feel like there's much of a reminder of what had happened previously. Again, I enjoyed the numerology/tarot connection, and the time travel element. I think the love triangle works pretty well here, and I wasn't sure who I wanted her to end to with. The frenemy/ friendship dynamic with Elodie was also delved into a bit in this one, and I'm excited to see more of it in the next entry, as hinted to by the cliffhanger ending. It also appears that magick and the Timekeepers will play a much larger role in the future, which I'm looking forward to. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I've never really been interested in time travel stories, but I truly enjoy the way it's done in this series. Each trip is intriguing and dangerous, and just interesting to read.

I liked the way the whole story unraveled. We learned more about the academy and the people in it. There were some twists in this one and I wasn't sure who - if anyone - was trustworthy!

Natasha did annoy me a little with her always going back on promises. I wanted her to just stop and listen!

I am so looking forward to book 3! Really enjoyed this one.

Ruling Destiny is book 2 of Alyson Noel's series. As we continue to learn more about Gray Wolf Academy, Natasha, Braxton and Killian, I am finding more and more I don't like or trust billionaire Arthur Blackstone. What is he really doing. What is he really wanting with all the artwork. This time Natashia is looking for the moon stone to help Arthur. We learn more about what happened between Braxton and Killian. we learn more about Natashia's family and we learn more about Braxton and Killian. Are they really from the current time or from the past. I'm looking forward to learning more about Natashia and the trippers.

I probably ejoyed this book more than the first one. Amazing, can't wait for the third one. The characters grew up so much and Beaxton started showing sides of his personality i neved thought i'd see. I read half book in a 2 hours flight and the rest on the return flight. It's so fast paced and intriguing i couldn't turn my kidlr off.

The riddles, the answering of questions with gray answers, not knowing who you can trust. This series is a vibe and I am here for it. I hope it continues far past three novels or a spin off with Mason. Thank you so much for blessing my imagination.

Omg. I loved this book and it is no doubt going to be one of my faves of the year.

Stealing Infinity was great but tbh I had forgotten how invested I was in this one. I enjoyed it more than the first one.

I just love everything about this series.

I refuse to accept that I picked the ‘bad guy’ for my book bf. I’m still holding out here for a change up in the next book. 😂🤷‍♀️

So thankful for this early copy. If you are looking for a fun adventurous, time travel, love triangle, history loving, atmospheric series- pick this up! Now.

this story has a lot to offer those who like stories with a strong focus on tarot cards, hidden meanings in artwork and artefacts, and of course, romance. Alyson keeps the action flowing quickly, and there are just enough turns and turns for the reader to remain interested. i loved every minute of it i can't wait for the next one to be finished and published.

thank you to the author and netgalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a fun story filled with time travel, art, history, tarot and numerology, magick and mystery.

It picks up shortly after the ending of Stealing Infinity.

Natasha is torn between her feelings for Braxton and her suspicions about him. She’s confused about the flashbacks and what she is learning about Gray Wolf Academy and Arthur’s intentions. Why is she so important to Arthur? Who is lying and who can she trust? What happened to Song and Anjou?
⚙️
The story is fast paced with lots of twists and turns. Although I had my suspicions about some things, there was enough doubt to question the truth.

I love the historical aspect and art. Since one part of this story is based in Renaissance Florence, it was really fun reading that part since I was just in Florence a few weeks ago. Specifically, we stayed near the Duomo and went inside the Baptismal.

I really look forward to the next book.

This book picks up right where the first one ended. I love how fast paced and intricate this series is. The break down of Tasha’s thought when she figures out her clues to find her Get are very engaging. The love triangle between Braxton and Killian is so angsty and smoky, not steamy because there’s no spice, but smoky like you can feel the heat coming from the fire but it’s not quite there yet. I love that there’s depth to these characters and that some get redemption of their past bad deeds, while others you finally see their true colors. Easily a 5 star for me and I can’t wait to read the next!

What a great second book! I really enjoyed how more in-depth we went with tarot cards and time travel and how the magical system worked. The love triangle, if we want to call it that, was well done. Over all a good YA novel that I think people who enjoy time traveling will enjoy
