I didn’t expect anything less than a book that will be full of fun filled drama, it’s all encapsulated in one word, DRAMA!!!!!!!! After that more drama in a very good way too.

Romance, Mystery, and More
This book is filled with more than just a sizzling romance. There are many parts in this fast-paced story that moves from one situation after another. The characters are many and very intriguing to say the least.
At first it reads like a comedy of errors. Lots of bumbling mishaps but then as you learn more about the characters the story becomes much more involved than just a sweet desirous romance between Leigh and Marigold. This turns into an epic story the more you read. This story deals with many elements of the times and about the unfortunate things that were typical then.
Lots of family situations that delt with an old vengeance and a mystery that takes hold until the scary end and so much more.
A fascinating story that ends this amazing series.

I was happy to be back at Blakeley Manor! I have read each of the books in this series, and I do think it helped a bit - there was not a ton of time given to the backstory of the Blakeley parents' plight or of Caleb Bryce. I loved Marigold. She is smart, ambitious, curvy, and caring, and also willing to figure out how to both work within society's boundaries while also doing the things she wanted to. Leigh is very obviously more than he appears and he learns how to accept Marigold for who she is and to shape her goals into something that meshes ever so well with his. They make sense as a couple, and not just because all of their siblings married each other!

Some small quibbles - there was SO much emphasis on Marigold's breasts. She is voluptuous, we get it. The subplot about the parents' kidnapping had a somewhat anticlimactic resolution. The length of Lauren's pregnancy made no sense. But as I said, there were small quibbles. I will be interested to see where Fenna Edgewood heads next. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hawkeye's story. I am pretty sure we can "peel" away the layers to know who he was in love with!

4.5 stars rounded to 5. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a complimentary ARC of this book. The opinions herein are my own.

An enjoyable well written story with likeable engaging character's who have great chemistry and were well suited in their outlook. I haven't read all the other books and wasn't therefore up on Leigh's family's back story so perhaps these would be read in order rather than as a stand alone. However still a very enjoyable read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Loved reading the engaging and engrossing romance story. When Marigold finds a man bleeding in her bed, she takes care of his knife wound, discovers he is her brother-in-law, Leigh, Marigold wants nothing to do with having a season in London, and Leigh volunteers to help her in the marriage market. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read riveting love story.

3.5 rounded up to 4

Marigold and Leigh are great characters but not as their story was not as enjoyable as others in the series. There was just a bit too much going on with the secondary story of the hero's parents' kidnapping and too many characters to keep track of. Characters were introduced who I'm sure will be featured more in the series later, but we learn little about them before they're dropped for the next extra story element. I liked that the story was not completely predictable (in a series where every sibling in one family marries a sibling in another family). These two meet when Leigh climbs into Marigold's bed wounded. They have great chemistry from this first encounter. It's better to have read the other books in the series, as you will feel like you're missing something otherwise.

I enjoyed Leigh and Marigold’s story. I loved that Marigold was a curvy girl and that Leigh appreciated her body for what it was. I also loved that Marigold had the strength and courage to stand up to her bullies and not to compromise her own values. It was also nice to have some of the back story wrapped up, as this was the final installment in this series. I received an ARC from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.

3.5-4 Stars! This is the 3rd book in the ‘Blakeley Manor’ series. The books in this series can be read as standalones, for the most part. The main characters were Leigh & Marigold. I really enjoyed them & was rooting for them the whole time. I feel like this book was a bit unfinished though & a lot of my questions were never answered. Mostly those questions were about secondary characters, however. I did enjoy this book. The ‘sexy times’ scenes were steamy and the rest of the book was funny, entertaining and I enjoyed reading it.

This story hit the jackpot. It had all the things you would want all wrapped up in this tale. From plotting, scoundrel and imperfect debutante, mysteries, twists, hot passion, and, of course, a love story.
