I really enjoyed this book. It was different than anything else I've read recently. I couldn't put it down! I will keep an eye out for this author's future work!

This would make a really good companion for families with young children who are visiting any of our National Parks. I think it would be fun to use while traveling or once back home after the trip as a memory of your vacation.

Great book for children (and adults) who like adventures. Love the colors and the traveling that it gets kids excited about.

This was such a fun read for my me and my youngest daughter. We've been actively trying to visit more parks after visiting a National Sea Shore. We talked about where the National Parks are located (and how we might visit more out west next summer) and why they were created. This book is super accessible to littles (she's 3 and loved pointing things out).

Our family loves the National Parks and this fun adventure was a perfect way to celebrate them for us. We love how the story shows the fun colors of our world in each park along with an animal and the park they are from. This was perfect for my littles who love learning new things in a fun way. This was a creative way to teach colors, animals and more to children. . We loved the orange Gila monster from the Grand Canyon and the black bear from the Great Smoky Mountains, which is where we live. We were so happy to see it represented in the story. This was an ebook ARC for us but we will be adding this to our adventure collection at home. We can’t get enough of it. Your family will love it too. Makes a great gift. I also suggest it to be used in an early childhood classroom where the possibilities are endless for further learning.

A board book letting you learn colours, based on one thing vaguely that hue and a picture of one of the National Parks in the USA. Oftentimes the landscape doesn't bother including the plant or animal highlighted, and has little connection beyond being a place where it might be found. So yes we get a page and a critter or blossom and some text in the one colour we're learning each spread, but too often it seems the rest of the content – the Parks scenery – seems tacked on for too little reason.

I love how book publishers are introducing young children to our National Parks at a very young age. This is a perfect color book for babies that shares colors and the National Parks where you can find special flowers and animals. It shares some of the most popular National Parks such as Yellowstone, Smokey's and Acadia. Nice sturdy board book that babies and toddlers will love to read time and time again.

the illustrations were bold and beautiful. the colors were great and we got to see some national parks and where they are located but my child wanted to see the colored image inside the park and was left a bit confused at where to find them in the pictures

I appreciate the simple text and concept to introduce very young readers to the US National Parks. Each page spread offers one object/color to find in the more detailed picture of each Park. The colors are vivid and the artwork is realistic. This book can be revisited as readers mature - from simple color recognition to finding the item in the pictures to looking for each item when they visit the parks themselves. A delightful gift for young families.

Board book - really simple, colorful illustrations of national parks and the natural wonders you can find there. The selection seems a *little* random - it’s a mix of plants and animals. And I’m not sure about the bleeding tooth fungus! Is that really the best representation of Acadia? But the map at the front is really cool, and would make a great poster for a preschool or kindergarten classroom.

Cute book. My digital version didn't work well with my arc app so I kind of hope there's more discussion on the printed book regarding why they chose the color and which park, or park name in the picture but even without those things the book would be cute for little travelers.

The author highlights various objects located in the National Parks, and than mentioned the National Park it is located in.

A fun way to introduce young babies and toddlers to the majestic world of the national parks and some of the plants and wildlife that live in those parks. A fun board book that teaches colors. I also loved that Miriam's art is based on real locations and animals or plants that would be in each of the national parks featured in the American West.

There were names of the colors and where they could be found in national parks. I was disappointed that there were only illustrations and not real pictures. There was no information about the national park itself, so that was also disappointing.

My kids (age 3 and 5) and I loved this book. The colors and illustrations were beautiful. I do wish there was a short little fact about each park. However, I loved how each park had something specific thing to match the color to the park.
