I have never heard of these characters before but I am so glad I chose to review this book! I definitely recommend getting and reading this book. These two bears are delightful characters who will entertain readers.

This book will work for all ages as there is minimal wording. It would also make a nice gift.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book provided by the publisher and NetGalley but the thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

I think we've all seen these two loveable bears in GIFs or memes. Well, this is a collection of comics in random order featuring Milk, Mocha and Matcha!

Milk and Mocha are two polar opposite bears, where Milk is energetic and lively, Mocha is introverted and quiet. Although their personalities are different the comics depict them enjoying each other's company while doing everyday things such as, spending time together, watching movies, eating food and more. Matcha is their little pet dino. Matcha has a very vibrant and loud personality and takes a while to warm up to Mocha.

There are no genders specified in this book or the type of relationship between Milk & Mocha. These are left to interpretation but the emotions are clearly communicated. The expressions, symbol emojis, and the actions all showcase a deep understanding and bond between the two. However, there is no explicit dialogue which may make it confusing for some.

The comics are in no particular order. Some are relatable to each other but essentially they are all glimpses into Milk & Mocha's life at some point of their time together.

Drawn in a kawaii style, I enjoyed the simplicity of the comics focusing on the characters and the main items they interact with. Surprisingly I think it helped bring out the cuteness and fluff of our characters.

Overall, this was a very sweet and cute comic collection! I thoroughly enjoyed the drawings, the relationship and the mini stories. Definitely a good read when you're looking for a pick me up!

The short comics in this book were absolutely adorable. I have seen these characters in several gifs I have used throughout the years, but i have never seen them in their comic collection. I love that the characters are complete opposites of one another, yet they complete and complement each other perfect. They both have amazing empathy and communication with each other, and I enjoyed seeing the scenarios they got themselves into. i hope to see more from these characters someday.

5 star - so freaking cute, the art was DARLING!!! All the little stories and funny little jokes made me feel so warm and loved and I really felt like I was getting to know the little characters (even tho there wasn't a ton going on)!

I really loved how all 3 characters were distinct and had their base line personalities set! Made it so much more calming and gentle! I felt sometimes like Milk and sometimes like Mocha- there is so many relatable moments hahaha!

Read this one with my kiddo and my kiddo said he loves this one so much he wants to buy it!

This was absolutely adorable. ♥ I wish there was more dialogue, as some of the comics didn't make a ton of sense without any context for what exactly was going on, but for the most part, it wasn't needed. It's just a cute, cozy little comic strip about two characters in love, creating their own little bubble of safety and happiness with their new pet dinosaur Matcha, and it's precious. Absolutely a warm hug in a book and it made me want to cuddle up with my family and never let them go. 🥰

This is a collection of some cute little comics and mini-stories featuring Mocha – a brown bear who is somewhat introverted and reserved, Milk – a white bear who is hyperactive and bubbly all the time, and their pet dino Matcha, who has a strong personality that is inversely proportional to his size.
Structurally, the book doesn't follow a linear time lapse. Their beginning, first meeting is actually the end of the book. Even after finishing the book, you don't get a sense of finality, like the story could go on and on in the same vein.

Such cute comics! I had read a few Milk and Mocha comics before and was delighted to find this on NetGalley. Definitely recommend this one!

I really like the art style of this, but there wasn't enough storytelling to keep me from getting confused. There are very few words to help the stories along.

The end is a multi-page story about how Milk and Mocha met. This one is told with words, but the sentences sound like they were written by somebody whose first language is not English (and as the author is Indonesian, I'm assuming that's true).

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy.

‘Milk & Mocha Comics Collection: Our Little Happiness’ by Melanie Sie is a collection of comic strips from a webcomic.

Milk is a white bear. Mocha is a brown bear. These comics are about their life together and how they get along even though they are opposite personalities. They also have a pet dino named Matcha that threatens to steal the show every time it shows up.

If you like your comics cute and cozy, this is for you. The comics are heartwarming and the character design is topnotch.

An utterly adorable couple of bears and the little moments between them fill this collection. Milk’s demonstrative, extravagant personality is balanced by Mocha’s quiet gentleness, while tiny dino/dragon Matcha is cute. The soft colours and rounded shapes in the artwork convey the warmth and love within these pages, and the overall feel of the collection is cozy, sweet, and soothing.

Thank you to Netgalley and to Andrews McMeel Publishing for this ARC in exchange for my review.

What Does Happiness Mean To You?
A good book on a stormy day. Cuddles from the tiny gremlin in your life. Having room for dessert even after a fantastic meal.
Sie does a wonderful job of capturing the sparks of happiness we have daily. They warm our souls but are often overlooked when we reflect on our days, weeks, and months.
This was a small piece of Domestic Fluff that I desperately needed in my life, and it brought me a lot of joy as I was reading. While also leaving me giggling more than once at silly but cute interactions between Milk and Mocha.

This is an adorable peek into the lives of Milk and Mocha

It's not a world I've entered before, and it took me a bit to get their dynamic, but I'm now hooked!

I received an advance copy for free from NetGalley, on the expectation that I would provide an honest review.

I love Milk & Mocha (and their pet dinosaur Matcha). I first found these characters as a LINE app sticker and I've since been following the series. It's great to know that Milk & Mocha is going to be published as a collection.

Milk & Mocha is a heartwarming and adorable story of two bears in a romantic relationship. Both of them are very affectionate with each other -- albeit showing it in different ways.

I would, and have, recommended Milk & Mocha too others

Thank you to NetGalley, Andrews McMeel Publishing, and Melani Sie for the opportunity to read this ARC !

If you need a mood booster, the collection of cuteness will do it. I've seen these adorable bears all over the internet and I frequently send their gifs in text messages, but never knew who they were. It was great to get a little backstory and a peek into their relationship. I smiled throughout the reading this novel and it just made me so happy! As an introvert, I related to Mocha so much and found Milk so entertaining. Milk and Mocha are the cutest relationship goals eva!

Hands down, one of the most adorable comics I've read. Trust me, you look like you need the serotonin.

Milk and Mocha share their sweet slice-of-life moments in this new collection, including never-before-seen comics! Milk and Mocha are charming bears with opposite personalities. These uplifting comics remind us of the sweet moments we share with our friends, family, and loved ones.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS COMIC! I will forever be recommending it!

I can see how this became a published collection because it fits so nicely with others that are similar like Sarah's Scribbles and and Catana Comics that share the mundane and every day but expressing it in adorable, sentimental, sweet, and sweetly obnoxious ways that most couples would understand. Then you add in a cute animal pet and you've got a lovely collection of "our little happiness". It's a nice brain break slice of life.
