I'm not a vegetarian but I try to eat meat only rarely so I'm always looking for more plant-focused recipes! This was a great sampler and I'm looking forward to more. The recipes are easy to follow and have acccessible ingredients, and I love that each one includes a colorful photo - I hate not knowing what the dish is supposed to look like! I haven't tried any of these recipes yet but I can't wait to sample them.

I haven't been vegetarian in years, but I still eat a largely plant-based diet. I'm always looking to add new recipes to the rotation.

This was a nice little preview into the cookbook. Loved the colors, loved the pictures. My only thing is I'm not sure, based on the preview, that this is one I'd necessarily go out of my way to get the full version. It's a little unfair for me to judge it based off the preview, but I didn't really see anything that I can't find in any of my other plant-based cookbooks.

That said, it's a solid cookbook! I'd probably recommend it more for newer cooks just because her directions are wonderfully thorough and the recipes are pretty accessible, from what I could tell.

I am unable to review the entire cookbook, Plant Love Kitchen’s cookbook, as the publisher only provided a brief preview. I am debating if I was intrigued enough to see if my local public library has a copy.

**Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the electronic ARC and for the opportunity to provide a review.

Some really good and tasty recipes in this book! I love the fresh ingredients and the variety of recipes. Easy to read and colorful. I also like that there are photos of all of the recipes. It helps to know what you are expecting when you prepare it!

We’ve been trying to eat healthier and this book is a treasure trove of deliciousnesses. So far we’ve made the Tomato, Olive and Arugula Frittata and the Butterberry Buttermilk oat muffins and they were both great!

I enjoyed the sample of this book, although the formatting was not great and I didn’t get enough of the “book” and the majority was recipes. I eat meat, but I’m a huge veggie fan and animal lover. So “plant forward” eating is the way for me. The recipes were impossible to read, but they looked great. I intend to purchase the book in its entirety.

Great vegan cookbook - this preview really intrigued me. My reading of this cookbook created a lot of interest in reading the complete book. My cookbook group is always seeking books that creating something original. I found this cookbook to be very interesting. I will be suggesting this book to my group.

Received a sample so I can't fully evaluate this book. The title certainly interested me as I am vegan and always looking to read more on the topic and see recipes. Would love to read the full book

This was a good plant-based cookbook. It has detailed directions included in the recipes and even has a meal plan and shopping list included.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I hope to use this cookbook more in the future. Lots of great plant-forward recipes, including a meal plan and shopping list.

This was only a small sample of recipes so it's hard to accurately judge this cookbook. From what I saw, the recipes were simple and the directions were thorough. Seems like a good introduction to incorpartion more plant-based meals into your diet.

Wonderful exploration of vegetarian (and easily made wholly plant based) recipes. I loved that she’s from the area we now live (North Carolina) and understands the tension we feel in the familiar foods around us, and has so many options so we don’t feel left out at the church cookout. My kids have now asked for that buttermilk blueberry muffin recipe three times 😂 so I’m going with this book is a keeper. I cannot wait for the full version!

This sample did not give me sufficient access to truly review this beautiful book. The formatting made a super tiny font size which made it impossible to read. The beautiful photographs (it's National Geographic folks!) illustrated the delicious recipes. I want to run out and buy a copy so I can whip up a batch of Blueberry-Buttermilk Oat Muffins or a Tomato, Olive, and Arugula Frittata.

Thank you for National Geographic and NetGalley for my digital ARC.

I didn't need to spend lot of time with this book to know that it will be popular with the patrons at my library. Personally I've been trying to incorporate more plant based meals and recipes into my life. I know this book will be very beneficial.

As someone who eats plant-based, I am always looking for new plant forward recipes, since it's so easy to get in a cooking rut. The recipes were creative yet doable, and I can't wait to continue trying the recipes in the book.

I was only given a sample of this to read. I must admit so many parts of a cookbook are important to me, that it is very difficult for me to give an accurate description. For that reason, please take anything said here with a grain of salt.
The recipes I did see were quite simple, and the directions very clear. No one could ever argue about the illustrations. They are beautiful. I did not see one of the most important decision-makers for me in a cookbook in this sample. The index is not included. Beautiful illustrations help us cook. They help us to see the outcome. But the index is the most important tool in a cookbook. The fact that even a page of the index wasn’t included makes me think the author must not find my evaluation worthwhile.

In total, I didn’t see anything necessarily new. Then again, I couldn’t look up any ingredient because I couldn’t look through an index. There is nothing wrong with using a cookbook to look through to inspire ideas for cooking, but I didn’t see a use for it other than that.

This was only a short preview and o didn’t find it enough information to know if I would like this cookbook.

My thanks to NetGalley and National Geographic for the sample of this book. Being such a small sample (4 recipes), it is hard to feel that I can truly give a well represented review of the book. I will do my best. The pages are nicely laid out and recipes are clearly written and would be easy for the beginner cook to follow. While the recipes themselves are not a big stretch creatively, they are solid choices for serving plant based meals. If you want to increase your vegetable intake, this would be a nice place to start.

I felt this sample was not enough representative of the book upon which to base an honest opinion.
However the form would not accept my thouughts unless it was at least 100 characters long.
I would have appreciated more to work from and base an opinion on.

I accessed a digital review copy of this book from the publisher.
The recipes included are easy to follow and clearly laid out. The pictures are nice and show what to expect. There is a nice variety of dishes included, and as indicated in the title they are plant-forward. For those who are concerned, this does not mean plant only, however.
