Written by a Stephanie, narrated by a Stephanie and finally read by a Stephanie. This is your typical romcom novel. Characters begin with disliking one another but then it all changes toward the end. Only some of the parts were repetitive. I don't recall any profanity. I would give the author another go.

This was a cute book! I’m always a sucker for a feisty grandma. Mix together some soul-searching, family drama, city slicker turned farmer, grandma’s hijinks, and some romance and you’ve got this fun read.

I listened to this one and the narrated did a good job.

A sweet story about Ellie learning about herself and finding love in a small town farm. Although this doesn't blow me away it's was a really cute, sweet romance and a very feel good easy read. I liked the cast of quirky, fun characters and seeing everyone coming together.

Said No One Ever is a wonderful story of a second chance at finding yourself. A getaway booked to figure out her life leads to found family, and a very different life. This sweet romance takes place in Montana and incorporates wonderful scenery and antics that will make you smile till it hurts. This book is good for those fond of self discovery, found family, and the decision to take back your own life even if your family won’t listen.

This wasn’t quite what I expected. I thought it would be more the city girl struggling on a farm. Instead the. Its girl seemed to fit right into the farm. It was just too unbelievable for me. Ellie knew exactly how to care for the farm and stepped right in without hesitation. She was way too involved in the lives of strangers she just met. I didn’t feel any chemistry between Ellie and Warren. On the plus side, it was super clean. No swearing or sexual content. Just an average read for me.

Stephanie Richardson narrated the audiobook. She did a wonderful job. Really gave each character a voice and brought the story to life.

When things seem to fall apart in life, you lose your job, you break up with your long term boyfriend, what can you do? You travel to a small town and make friends while trying to come up with a plan and rebuild. Ellie meets Marilyn who is fun, spunky, old and willing to meddle in her grandsons life to make him happy unbeknownst to him. When Warren enters the picture he has no idea what he's in for but he doesn't expect it to be busting his grandmother out of a nursing home or falling in love with the girl that's helping his grandmother.

I loved this! I don't think I can say enough good things about it.
Eding did such a good job with this small town romance. The characters are fun and lovely. There's a crazy, independent, meddling grandma involved who makes the reader fall in love with her and the couple. The narrator did a great job making the characters come alive. It was brilliant, quick and fun.

Totally recommend this beachy, summer read and will be telling everyone to pick it up for their shelves. I know for sure it's going on mine.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to read this for an honest review.

Girls finding themselves and finding ways to stand up for themselves- YAAAAASSS. All it took was getting away from her family and meeting an eccentric old woman for some lives to change- and definitely for the better. I was a little sad at how the family treated the elderly in this book but it did get much better.

🌀Synopsis
Ellie needs a break from her family. Well more like a break from her family making choices for her…she rents an Airbnb at a little farm, ready to clear her mind and make her own decisions. The day she shows up the owner, Marilyn, falls and breaks her hip. This lands her in recovery at a nursing home and leaves Ellie to take care of the farm.
It’s a blessing and a curse that her grandson, Warren, shows up a few days later. A blessing because he knows the animals but a curse because he suspects Ellie is trying to pull some scam on his grandma.
Marilyn and Ellie become fast friends though and when the family is determined to make her sell the farm the two come up with a plan so Ellie can stay. It just happens to include Warren who has also grown on Ellie quite a bit too.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! I read and listened to this one, and I just felt seen. I connected with the MC on so many levels.

Thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC in exchange for my honest review.

I saw a review for this one and immediately went to snatch it up. I loved the premise of an accidental country girl finding herself while taking care of a farm. While it was enjoyable, I found it to be a bit hokey. Some of the dialogue was too cheesy for my taste and it pulled me immediately out of the story. Other than that, I did enjoy the sassy grandma and the farm animals’ antics. Overall, it was a cute story that I think fans of Hallmark movies would enjoy.

My rating: 3.5/5

This may be your typical cutie romance, but I found myself really falling in love with the characters. At the start of the book, I wasn't sure if I was going to get annoyed with the quirky small town, farm angle but the cast of characters blew me away. There were just enough mishaps and eye rolling moments to make this story endearing. I found myself missing the story and thinking about it when I wasn't listening.
I love seeing someone who was stuck in a comfort rut find themselves outside of their comfort zone. When tough situations hit, as easy at it is to say no thank you and run away, Ellie faced them as a new challenge. Something to say yes to and she found where she wanted to be for herself instead of where she thought she should be for the sake of others.

Filled with a barnyard of characters, farm life charm, and feisty senior citizens, this was such a cute rom com to listen to! This is also a great non-steamy story (I think there's only two kisses in the whole book) that you don't have to be embarrassed reading in public. Thanks to Netgalley for an advanced listening copy of this.

In an effort to escape a bad breakup and overbearing family, Ellie books a tiny house stay on Airbnb in remote Montana. She arrives expecting a relaxing vacation, but is instead met with a spunky bulldog, escapee donkey, hangry chickens, and her host being wheeled into an ambulance because of a nasty fall. With no family to come to the elderly owner's aid, Ellie steps up and takes charge of the situation. Just when she thinks everything is under control, the owner's handsome, but grumpy, grandson shows up to kick Ellie out...

Fun and Appropriate, this was a Cozy rom com.

This one was a lot of fun. Ellie leaves town to escape the drama in her life but ends up immediately getting involved with an all-new cast of characters around the place she is renting.

I liked (but found some parts inaccurate, especially around pregnancy) this authors previous book “The Unplanned Life of Josie Hale” but found this one less cute and more 🥱

I kept falling asleep reading this and finally gave up around 46%

It is largely a “feel good” sorry but for me it was redundant and ran in circles. THe MC repeats herself a lot.

SUMMARY: Ellie has recently been laid off and is being pressured by her family to be her sisters nanny. Avoiding this reality, Ellie books an Airbnb stay in Montana (?) for three weeks, trying to figure her life out. Unfortunately for Ellie, shortly after arrival the caretaker / owner is injured and Ellie ends up being responsible for caring for the farm / farm animals.

Thanks netgalley for my ARC

When it comes to audiobooks, one of the biggest facts I look for is how fast can I listen and understand the narrator; as a speed reader, I enjoy listening to audiobooks like I read. I was pleasantly surprised that I could get to 3.0x and still understand every word by narrator, Stephanie Richardson. Great job at being clear and annunciating every word!

Said No One Ever is a story about Ellie, who I could totally relate to because our moms are twins. Constantly being questioned about every decision she's ever made, Ellie takes off for a random Airbnb in Montana where she meets Marilyn; an elderly woman and Airbnb host, as she's being loaded into an ambulance. Not sure what to do next, Ellie is thrown into the deep end of farm animals and responsibilities. In walks in Marilyn's grumpy grandson, Warren, quite suddenly and hilarity ensues. I enjoyed the characters, the connections and while the farm drama got a little wacky at times, I felt it brought levity to tense situations.

Thank you for access to this ARC.

Ellie is at a crossroads when she ended a long uninspiring relationship and her stable job is coming to an end. She escapes to a Montana airbnb for time to think and figure out her next steps. When she arrives she quickly realizes that she will get much more.

Marilyn, the owner of the airbnb, enlists Ellie to help her with her plans. Ellie jumps into the mud covered boots with enthusiasm. It doesn’t hurt that there are not one but two handsome men hovering around.

I enjoyed following Ellie trials of learning the tricks of the Montana farm, scooping poop and running from roosters. Her journey of finding herself includes a mild love triangle and little family drama.

Overall this was an easy enjoyable read.

Family Drama whether the FMC’s or the family and friends of the Airbnb host is filled within the pages of this one! Ellie is hoping to escape her family and drama after breaking up with her long-term boyfriend and being notified her job is being eliminated, but when she lands in Montana for her getaway she is splat down in the middle of the host’s drama when her Airbnb host is injured which completely changes and the trajectory of Ellie’s stay completely.

This one features a mild love triangle, enemies to lovers, long lost love, lots of antics for power, and a slooooow burn romance where we don’t even meet the two contenders for Ellie’s romance until after the first 15% of the book.

My favorite character by far was the hilarious Airbnb host, Marilyn.

This one had a very slow start due to all the set-up but it paid off in the end with a cute ending for both Ellie and Marilyn. Due to pacing being a bit slower it did make me appreciate the audiobook narrators work even more as she helped the story’s pace with her wonderful narration.

If you are looking for a different romance with lots of energy I recommend checking this one out! Thank you Dreamscape Media for my ALC in exchange for my review!

Fun and sweet general fiction with a bit of romance. Ellie is ready for a change. She breaks up with her boyfriend of six years who her family likes more than she does. And decides to take a break renting a tiny house on a farm in rural Montana for three weeks. On the day she arrives the elderly AirBnB Marilyn host gets taken to the hospital leaving Ellie taking care of her dog, donkey and two sheep. Ellie is a fish out of water but pitches in and befriends Marilyn. When grandson Warren Oliver shows up for his usual month of helping on the farm he is immediately suspicious of Ellie and questions her intentions.

Everything is told third person from Ellie’s POV and she delightedly gets sucked into the shenanigans of Marilyn. She makes a new friend with the town vet. And begins a companionship and possibly more with Warren. In the mean time her mom and sister are nagging her to return home. This is light hearted, clean small town fun. You do get to see Ellie grow in her confidence. I would have like to have heard a better resolution with her family as that is a major part of the story. But at least there was a glimpse of her standing her ground.

I listened to the audio book and Stephanie Richardson does a nice job with the characters and engaging story. Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the audio book and I am leaving a voluntary review. (3.5 Stars)

A quick, funny and heartwarming read set in a small town.
Ellie books a Airbnb in Montana in order to escape her current strained life for a mini getaway. Upon arriving she finds her host being taken away in an ambulance. Now she finds herself tending to the animals, doing farm chores and trying to help in anyway she can. Ellie cant help but love the colorful, energetic elderly host. However when her grumpy grandson is another story. The story is no just a cute romance, it is great to see Ellie grow and learn to stand up for herself and what she wants for a future and not what others plan for her. The added second chance romance is too cute!

Received an Audio book ARC from Netgalley.

Ellie's going through just about all of the major stressors in life right now. She's lost her job, broke up with her long-term boyfriend, and is about to lose her apartment. She decides to take a working vacation to try to get her life in order and figure out what she wants to do next, instead of being railroaded into what her domineering family wants.

But little did she expect that her tiny AirBnB would come along with a barn full of animals to tend to and an 82yo mischievous woman to try to keep up with.

Soon, her life is full, but not with the soul-searching she'd planned on doing. She's doing battle with her host's grandson, guiding idiot sheep, leading a wayward donkey back to the barn, and entertaining a gaseous bulldog, all while running errands for her elderly host, eating cheese, and searching for (top-secret) documents.

I absolutely loved this book! The characters were wonderful (even the ones we loved to hate), the action was zany and yet meaningful, and the life lessons taught were priceless. This is definitely in my Top 5 reads this year. I highly recommend it!
