I received a digital copy of Julia Rothman's Nature Anatomy Activity Book in exchange for an honest and thoughtful review.

Julia Rothman's "Nature Anatomy Activity Book" is an exemplary addition to her celebrated repertoire, acting as the perfect companion to her staple "Nature Anatomy" book. It brings the world of nature into vivid color and interactivity, making it a treasure trove for homeschoolers and curious minds alike.

Children can enjoy the colors, shapes, and interactive tasks, while teenagers and adults can delve into the richness of the content, discovering intricate scientific phenomena underlying the workings of nature. Even parents may find themselves equally entertained, making it a fantastic resource for family-oriented learning sessions.

In conclusion, Rothman's "Nature Anatomy Activity Book" is a beautiful, educational, and engaging resource that transcends age boundaries. It's a must-have, not just for homeschooling households, but for anyone who appreciates the innate beauty and complexities of the natural world.

I really wish I could have printed out this title! I read through it and my toddlers immediately asked to color and follow along. It's well illustrated, whimsical, and instantly grabs the attention.

Fun. Entertaining. Educational.

I'm not sure which of the activities grabbed me the most. No, that's not right. I've been pondering where I might have some sorta red-brown paper to try my hand at making an origami fox, so guess I'll give that one credit. Children may be more attracted to the idea of designing their own spider's web or making their own fossil but that's the real charm of this activity book. There's something for everyone, even us children at heart.

The title pretty well tells you what's inside so I'm not going to drag out this review. I mean, I have puzzles to solve, clouds to observe and draw, tree rings to count, and...well, get my drift? It's a very hands-on book, inviting children to, gasp, write in it and record their own findings and ideas. For each topic addressed, there are fun activities, such as the edible constellation idea in regards to our night skies. Answers are given for the applicable activities, too, encouraging independent work.

Thanks #NetGalley and #StoreyPublishing for providing us with these engaging prompts and ideas. I enjoyed every moment I spent with the book and will surely be going back to it again and again.

Another beautifully created Julia Rothman book, filled with her stunning illustrations, the kind of book that is almost too lovely to look at and once you have filled the pages with your own drawings and wildlife spotting, it will be a memorable keeper.
It is just glorious and packed with things to do, this is a road trip delight…

Fact Pages: About all sorts of wonderful things.
Make it Pages: Make your own fossils; Edible Constellations; Make a beaver lodge; Phases of the moon Mobile; Origami Animals.
Journal Pages: Keep a Cloud Diary, Draw your own snowflakes; Beautiful Butterfly Pages; Seed Discoveries.

I think, while this book may have been geared towards children, children of ALL ages would enjoy it. I know it is the kind of book that I would have loved as a child, and would still love to toss into my backpack with some coloured pencils for an adventure into the great outdoors.

This is absolutely a book that I would bring into my classroom - but even more, I would want to have it for my son when he is older. This is a fabulous little book with tons of different activities, all focused on nature, in interesting and unique ways. It will allow the reader to focus on different aspects of nature that would not normally be inspected or examined, and that makes this little book a true gem.

I have had the honor to read every Julia Rothman book including her latest Wildlife Anatomy. They are visually charming with ligne claire outlined illustrations. Always a pleasure. The present nature anatomy activity book was a surprise because it is so much more than the odd crossword and leaf collecting and flower pressing. A must-read for school goers, teachers, and parents. And of course, for all nature enthusiasts.

Perfect for multiple applications of science! Has activities that support the NGSS and that I would have LOVED to have used for the school year. Shout out to the Moon Phases Mobile which is SO CLEVER and a wonderful idea to engage students, especially with the chart on the prior page that shows the earth-moon-sun cycle.

This is a MUST for an NGSS aligned middle-school classroom. Several great hands-on activities that raise science engagement.

Thank you Netgalley and the author for the ARC. These are my honest thoughts on this wonderful activity book.

Outstanding! If I could give this more than five stars I would give it a ten! This is the epitome of a kids activity book on inspiring them to be naturalists!

I could not critique it for one thing I would add. It's perfection. I am a California Naturalist and I want to gift this book to every child I know.

First of all it is very interactive which is of course a huge plus, but the captivating art work, the info, the format, the flow and the direction of information for it to stick is superb!

Sublime!

I would like to thank NetGalley, the publisher Storey Publishing for the opportunity to read and review the spectacular book Julia Rothman's Nature Anatomy Activity Book by Julia Rothman

It's easy to see why Julia Rothman's Nature Anatomy Activity Books are so popular among homeschoolers.

Whether you are homeschooling or simply wish to supplement your child's learning at home, this book--or maybe any in the series--would be ideal.
The detailed pages were interesting, educational, and, most importantly, entertaining.

I can see why the Homeschool Community adores Julia Rothman's Nature Anatomy Activity Books.

I have been desperate to look inside one of these books for years. As a homeschooling mum in New Zealand I was unable to find one 'in the wild' and so when the opportunity came up to look inside this book I jumped on it.
I know now I should have bought all previous copies earlier because this book is fantastic.

Whether you are home educating or just want to extend your Childs learning at home, this book- or possibly any in the series- would be perfect.
The detailed pages were interesting and educational but most importantly, fun.
The games and activities are ones by 8year old is desperate to try out. I feel this book would easily be adaptable for children aged 6-12years.

The illustrations are simple but sweet and the activities are engaging. Honestly this is one of the better activity books I've come across.

This is a great nature activity book with a variety of activities for kids. They’ll learn all kinds of nature topics like how different beaks help birds and the types of clouds. There are word searches, crosswords, mazes, finish the patterns and more. Some were more engaging to me than others. The art is wonderful and the book is in color. It’s a little shorter than I expected but I suppose I’m used to her reference books. All in all a fun resource that will teach a lot.

I read a temporary digital copy of this book via NetGalley.
