What a fun romance as Edeen has bought the house next the the MacQuarries and Grant is not happy that someone outside of their wolf pack was able to purchase the house and land. Grant tells Lachlan to do whatever is necessary to get that land.
Edeen had been warned about the "nasty" MacQuarries neighbors and planned to steer clear of them! Fortunately for her, her dogs did not cooperate and she meets Lachlan. Now, Grant tells Lachlan to sweet talk this new neighbor but Lachlan had already planned to get close to this she-wolf - no matter what his alpha ordered.
Lots of romance, drama, and secrets in the book so it was hard to put it down! I love that the previous couples are a big part of the story which they should be as a wolf pack.
Maybe the next book will be for Edeen's brother as he didn't seem to taken with the two women that he dated for a short time.
I normally doing gravitate to shifter romances but I love Christmas books so I thought I’d give this one a chance and I’m so thrilled that I did! This was great
This was my first book by this author. It was a different type of read me. I enjoyed most of the book. I thought the book was well written. I hope to read more by this author.
Wolves for the holidays! Fun holiday romance with a bit more substance than most. Engaging characters, a few subplots, and a slow burn keep the story moving through the holidays and over varied obstacles. Best part, their numerous dogs are a main part of the story and add to the charm. Wolves and dogs and holidays, can't go wrong. A fun read.
I love a good buffet of genres and this one had several. Yummy! I was never into werewolf romance before, but the setting and strong pack instincts sold me. The hero was well rounded and adorable and heroine rang true with a relatable job. They weren’t super sized alpha anything’s. I’d like to see more of this clan. Read my full review at

I have been provided with a review copy of Her Wolf for the Holidays from NetGalley for an impartial review. Oh my gosh this story was just epic. I just couldn’t put this story down and I was just captivated by everything that was taking place. The author truly outdid herself with this story. This story just had my emotions all over the place and I am so sad to see this book end. I just can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.
I thought that this was a good story and it was an enjoyable read – romantic and sexy
The storyline was strong and there was good attention to detail in the main, but at times it was a little over explained and could have been a tad punchier to keep the plot focussed and I think that could put people off, but do carry on reading – the book is definitely worth it.
There was plenty going on and it did keep me entertained and the writing style made the book an addictive read.
It is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended!

What's better than a handsome, well-built man in a kilt? When said man is a sexy wolf shifter and is going commando under said kilt which gives our heroine a great view when the wind whips up! I discovered after reading this book that it is part of a series and I will say that I enjoyed the book thoroughly even though I had not read the series, but I will definitely be going back to start with book one and read all the way through! This book was full of romance, laughter and holiday spirit! The book also has a bit of intrigue when someone pops up claiming to be the rightful owner of our heroine's house and tries to run her off the property. Fortunately, our heroine is no helpless damsel in distress and her personality shines through in all interactions! This was a fun holiday read, but even better it has led me to an entirely new to me series to binge!!
I found this a fun and entertaining book. The wolf pack were a great bunch of characters and the Scottish, festive setting made me long for the Christmas season! There is lots of humour and heat despite the slow burn romance. It’s a good choice when you need to switch off and unwind with some lighthearted escapism.
A beautiful storyline
From page one you could feel the warmth and love and it continued throughout the storyline.
A wonderful warm-hearted tender romance with some spicy moments, fantastic characters old and new with a twist!
The plot and the animals will have you giggling with the fun of it all and the witty moments will make you laugh.
I loved the way Lachlan and Edeen met and how Hercules had a hand in it. The attraction was instant and their love story with their HEA will make your heart sing.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own
Her Wolf for the Holidays by Terry Spear
Highland Wolf series #7. Wolf shifter paranormal romance. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series as family of the hero’s are secondary characters through much of this story.
Edeen Campbell buys a home in the Scottish Highlands from a bitter old name who had a grudge against his neighbors. He had deliberately tracked down a wolf shifter with his same last name to hide the sale of the property. When Edeen moves in after the old man’s death, a happy dog comes jumping over the dike to welcome her, causing her own two dogs to chase after it.
Lachlan MacQuarrie is more than happy to follow his brother’s instructions to keep Edeen happy. Edeen and Lachlan fall for each other as they set up her house, struggle to keep warm through a blizzard and fight against an interloper who claims the house should be his.
Family and Scottish clans form a close knit group and they welcome Edeen and her brother into their midst. Falling for each other feels natural. It’s a fun romp as the MacQuarries make Edeen feel welcome. Slow burn romance until they decide to mate and then it gets steamy.
The writing felt a bit like stating lots of little facts of time, place and lots of descriptions of food so it took me a bit to appreciate the romance. I was satisfied in the end as not only did Edeen and Lachlan love each other, but the whole clan took the new Campbells into their hearts and lives.
Lots of pets all around helped make this special.
I received a copy of this from NetGalley and the publisher.
Christmas Theme Shifter Romance with some steam. Was enjoyable, light hearted pallet cleanser with some steamy mating, This was like a breath of fresh air and it was great to see the pack again. I liked the little twist with a trouble making perp. This was pure entertainment that left me smiling and waiting for Christmas. Thank you for the arc, I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions, #HerWolffortheHolidays #TerrySpear #SourcebookCasablanca #NetGalley
Had a lot of fun and enjoyed this festive instalment set in Scotland. Well plotted, entertaining, I rooted for the characters and enjoyed the atmosphere
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
This is an entertaining story with some great characters along with a romantic twist. I especially liked the instant attraction between Edeen and Lachlan and their eventual mating. The fact that it is occurring during the Christmas season makes for great reading

Terry Spear has written a novel full of romance, humor, and holiday celebrations with Her Wolf for the Holidays , the seventh book in the Highland Wolf series. Edeen Campbell purchased a manor house and 100 acres in the Scottish Highlands a year ago from EJ Campbell, with the condition that he could live there until he died. He has died and she has moved in next door to the MacQuarrie clan living in the castle nearby. All are werewolves, but they are EJ had feuded for years. Lachlan MacQuarrie, the pack leader’s youngest brother is tasked with finding out about Edeen and whether she will sell the property.
Edeen is spirited, fun-loving with a sense of humor, loves animals and nature, and is somewhat impetuous. Lachlan is friendly, charming, gallant, and somewhat impulsive. It was fun to get to know Edeen and Lachlan as well as the supporting characters. Those who have read previous books in the series will find some of the main characters in those novels appear in this one.
The characterization and world-building are well-done in this novel. It’s a light, easy read with a fast-paced romance. While there was some minor conflict, I wanted some additional intensity and suspense. Despite this, I enjoyed the book.
Overall, this is a heartwarming, funny, and entertaining holiday read. I’m looking forward to my next book by this author.
SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca and Terry Spear provided a complimentary digital ARC of this novel via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own. Publication date is currently set for October 10, 2023.
I adored this book and will be looking to read more of Terry Spear's works. I do love a good werewolf romance story, but this one was really special. I found Edeen delightful and enjoyed Lachlan's pack family. Adding in the special season of Christmas made this a very enjoyable read. I found myself smiling a lot at Edeen and Lachlan's interactions and found them entertaining and a sweet match. The story had a good plot and I was happy with how the story ended. I would highly recommend this to those who enjoy a good wolf story, and it was refreshing to find one that did not revolve around an Alpha wolf. This is just a thoroughly enjoyable wolf next-door story. I appreciate being able to read the ARC of this title for my honest review.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This book is part of a series. It does read well as a stand alone. Okay these books are not meant to make me think-they are for me a way to get away from my life and visit other places. So is the plot super complex no-are the people interesting-yes. The MacQuarrie's are a fun family and there are the dynamics are great. The romance was just okay. I liked the location and the scenery and the animals. This one wasn't her best but still a nice change of pace. 3.5 stars
I love a holiday romance and I love a paranormal romance. The two combined can only be magical. When two wolf shifters meet as new neighbors and develop a friendship that leads to more it brings fun and hope to the season. Reading about cooler weather and hearty foods made me envious.
