This book lives true to it's title-its a little book of money that packs a punch. I loved how the author took the important points and themes around money and made it a book. The book tackles what money is, how to budget effectively and how to invest. It's a perfect read for those starting on their finance journey.

There wasn’t really anything new. Helpful tips for someone with zero money knowledge but not really a reference or long term resource.

There was not much new to add to the finance/budgeting scene that I had not seen before. Thanks for the ARC

The book is certainly interesting with it concept talkning about money and banking system. Definitely worth reading for young people. There are a couple of new tips I found for myself with budgeting and saving rules and ideas. Easy to read and comprehend book.

This book was jam packed with reasonable but helpful financial advice and tips for saving, budgeting, and spending. As someone trying to develop financial literacy, this book was really helpful and interesting.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Designed more as a primer into money than a comprehensive “how to”, this book definitely achieves its goal of inspiring people to think more about money and to dive in deep. I really like that it starts from the very basics - banking and then expands on other ways to think about money and provides a good foundation for people who may be new to money and or unsure about learning about the basics.

A chirpy little book about banking and budgeting basics that actually manages to be straightforward while also being fresh and informative.
Hard to believe I'm saying this but I'm actually really enjoying it. I'd recommend it for students but also for adults who are reviewing their money habits. Super.

This was a quick read with some great advice about managing money, budgeting, etc. This would be a good book for young adults who are starting their first professional jobs and want to gain some independence and not always be asking parents/guardians for advice on how to manage money. This book is definitely not for someone who is wanting to learn about serious investing, including the ins-and-outs of the stock market, mutual funds, etc.

I did laugh in the section on having a side hustle when one of the suggestions is to be a book reviewer on social media. As someone who does book reviews, I can confirm that I definitely have not made any money from doing this!

I didn't give the book 5 stars only because it is geared to people in the United States. As a Canadian, I have no use for 401k and Roth IRAs and whatnot.

Very informative and educational. Perfect for anyone (like myself) that was never taught money management or about banks and credit cards

This is such a good little treat for budgeting. From the Treat Yourself - for Free asides to the budgeting challenges, I really enjoyed it. It starts with a low level view of banking and credit, and shifts to discussing how your budget can let you live your life with intention. As an aspiring budget babe, this helped affirm some of my current systems but gave me ideas for others as well! I definitely want to shift to tracking spending daily rather than weekly or biweekly and also try out the 52 week challenge.
