I absolutely adore Johanna Basford’s coloring books and this one is no different. In fact, it might be one of my favorites so far.

I love that it will be pocket sized, making it ideal for when you need to sneak in some self-care or decompression time during a busy day. The idea that you can finish a page in a single sitting seems entirely practical, whereas other coloring books from Basford sometimes are multi-sitting projects for me.

As the description notes, the images themselves are all from Basford’s trademark style, and there are plenty of kinds of images to choose from, including florals, bugs, buildings, vehicles, animals, sweets, and more. The imagery is all very whimsical and fun.

I’ll certainly be adding this to my collection!

I love Johanna Basford's coloring books as well as her videos so this was a no brainer even without getting to see any of the pages in this ARC except for the intro. I already pre-ordered this title months ago. For any and all who like to color you cannot go wrong with Johanna's books.

I love Johanna Bamford's artwork and coloring books. I am so excited about a smaller one that I can carry around! The pictures are small and manageable - I can see myself actually finishing one in a decent amount of time. I cannot wait for it it come out so I can get my own copy to color!

Great variety of illustrations! I love that there are flowers, fruit, birds, houses, and more so that you can color whatever strikes your fancy. I find, too often, that many adult coloring books are too narrow in scope, but this one isn’t!

I love the idea of a pocket sized coloring book to take on the go. Perfect fit in a purse or backpack, along with some colored pencils. This book contains the usual intricate botanical and fauna motifs, but also has pages with cute trucks, cupcakes, houses, boats, and dogs. I like the pages with 4 smaller designs, it is satisfying to be able to finish one when there isn’t much time. There are even a couple blank pages at the back to test out your colors. Fun little book!

Beautiful illustrations that are relaxing to color. There are so many fantastical houses and cute bugs - my nieces and nephews even had fun looking through the designs and coloring them. Some of the individual pages would even be great to frame and give as gifts!

I love this coloring book. It is perfect for personal use. At a public library, not so much. While looking at the book, I could see the potential for adding some pages to my decorative planner and journal. It has so many excellent graphics that I can see me spending my "self-care" time with this book.

Johanna Basford started the hobby coloring. Her books are beautiful even in black and white. Adding color makes the designs leap off the page. So many small details are hidden in the overall image that coloring makes your heart sing. These smaller, bite sized designs are perfect. When you only have small amounts of time to devote to creativity, you get a sense of accomplishment from completing a picture.

Highly recommend this book for busy people in need of a creative outlet.
