Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy. Like all of this authors books, this was very repetitive. I get the main character doesn’t want to get married, doesn’t want to have kids. The plot lines are interesting, but still so repetitive.

Faith Ferguson is an in-demand, high profile wedding planner who is the best at what she does but – the irony – after some disastrous relationships Faith does not believe in marriage for herself. Danielle Steel gives us a glimpse into beautiful, small weddings on a budget as well as over the top, million-dollar-plus extravaganzas. We see Faith get involved in the family dramas of each of these clients as well, giving weight and emotion to the story that offsets the party atmosphere. Love wins in the end for all the couples involved, which is a sentiment this world needs more of.

As with almost all of Danielle Steel’s later books, the story is full of repetitive passages that slow the pace and bog down the narrative. The book is fine, but I think would have been better if these passages had been treated differently.

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was just ok! Danielle Steele is getting almost boring! Every story sounds the same and ends the same. I will always read her books but this one was a disappointment. Sorry Ms Steele

I love Daniel steel.
Faith is the most sought after wedding planner despite her not able to find love for herself. But of course she was able to find her happy ending and plan her own wedding. Loved this one. It felt as if the characters were real as they were relatable.

When reading a Danielle Steel novel, I always have 'Hope' and Faith' about it being a fun read. Faith is the Wedding Planner and sought after for her elaborate affairs. While her sister Hope, is married to her family content with her life.

Badly burned by a past relationship, Faith plans exquisite weddings but won't risk her heart for romance. Will a handsome guest make her rethinking those reservations? Readers seeking a tale filled with elaborate designs and fairytale dreams will fall under the author's spell.

Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for the advance edition of #TheWeddingPlanner in exchange for an honest review. Keeping with the wedding theme, I wouldn't run down the aisle but wouldn't trade the novel in for another edition. All jokes aside, it's a lighthearted tale without a lot of twists and turns. It's easily read in a single sitting and and if you're seeking a distraction from regular life, it's your turn to catch the bouquet.

Faith is perfectly happy planning other people's weddings, but she has no intention of ever getting married herself. After a couple of bad engagements, she has given up on marriage and having children. Meanwhile, her twin sister, Hope, is pregnant with her fourth child, and her mother is engaged to her fourth husband. The first half of this book focuses on the shenanigans of planning a series of weddings. One wedding is for an abusive surgeon and his passive nurse fiancee. Another wedding is for a spoiled debutante who's pregnant out of wedlock, unbeknownst to her Uber-wealthy and conservative parents (but not so conservative that they don't have affairs). The third is with a gay couple who are trying to become surrogate parents. Through trial and tribulation, Faith manages to keep everything together and make everyone's dreams come true. In the meantime, she meets the man of her dreams, too ... but is she really ready for a commitment? Or will she hold fast to her self-vow never to get married?

The Wedding Planner is a straightforward Steel novel. I'm not sure how all the clunky sentences get past a copy editor, but you always know you're not getting highbrow literature with DS. But you're guaranteed an entertaining story that moves along at a brisk pace and doesn't require a lot of effort -- perfect for a beach or a plane ride.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for my opinions.

This was a great example of Danielle Steel at her finest. I loved all the characters, particularly Faith. She was a strong, single woman who built a fulfilling life around a successful career. Charming, likeable, relatable. So many other great supporting characters as well in her clients - complicated, dramatic, but entertaining in so many ways. This was a quick, easy read with great characters and a simple, enjoyable plot.

Danielle Steele presents a woman's fiction surrounding a highly successful wedding planner in New York that offers so much more in terms of post divorce support. This novel lacks a bit of an impact that Danielle has presented in some of the most recent books. I appreciate the woman support and the success of women being portrayed. Faith, as you can tell from the title, is “the” sought after wedding planner. She is happily single after being engaged twice and it not working out. Now she is busy planning weddings for others, from super extravagant million dollar weddings to the simpler, more intimate one for her own personal assistant, Violet, who can’t really afford anything special, but they’ve been together for along time and feel like it’s time to make it official. Ans everything in between. Meanwhile, Faith’s twin sister, Hope, is living her dream life in the country with her husband raising her family and the total opposite of Faith. Their mom decides to get married for the third time and they have to deal with that as well. As Faith plans the weddings of the various couples, a rich spoiled daddy’s girl, a gay couple who are expecting via surrogate and Phoebe who is engaged to a super controlling man who Faith doesn’t think she should marry, she tackles the various obstacles that stand between each couple and the wedding of their dreams. And Faith is the miracle worker that makes everything okay for everyone, and after giving

Faith Ferguson is the wedding planner to the rich and famous. She is the most popular wedding planning in New York. She plans the most elaborate weddings you can imagine. But she is against weddings, well for herself. She has sworn off love and marriage. She has a twin sister Hope that is happily married with 3 boys and one on the way. She makes being married and a mom seem easy but Faith wants no part of it. Her assistant Violet is getting married soon and she is so excited for her upcoming day. Faith will help make it the day of her dreams but not for her. We get an inside look at the planning of a huge multimillion dollar wedding for people with maybe a little more money that taste. That one had some issues. We also get a glance at a wedding for two lovely men that all of a sudden adopt two children. And the one wedding that disturbs Faith the most. A couple where the groom is very controlling to a sweet bride. Not even letting her have the dress of her dreams. You will enjoy all the ins and outs of the wedding prep and we know Faith keeps saying she is sworn off love but will she find it in the most unexpected places.

Danielle Steel has written an astonishing number of novels and shows no signs of slowing down. Her readers want exactly what she offers and they will be very happy with this new novel in my opinion.

It is a bit of a trope, the wedding planner with her own tricky love life. This is the case for Faith Ferguson. Her services are clamored for even as she has not yet found her own happy ending. Will she finally find her person? Read this one to find out and along the way meet clients, those who help weddings to be special and follow along with some complicated wedding planning.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for this title. All opinions are my own.

The Wedding Planner is an enjoyable story of an independent, successful business owner enjoying her life and work. Faith Ferguson is in the business of making dreams come true! Clients come to her wanting to have the wedding of theirs dreams and like a fairy godmother, Faith grants their wishes.

We meet and enjoy multiple clients with different dreams for their special day! Some we grow to love and some we don’t! Naturally, Faith encounters challenges and crises and handles them with compassion and empathy.

This sweet story is an enjoyable, easy to read escape from reality. Danielle Steel has the formula down and her fans will only be disappointed that it is not longer!

Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC!

Danielle Steel's writing has a way of grabbing you on the first page and reeling you in. She moves her books along at a fast place but with the careful attention to detail that makes it difficult to put down and anxious to get back to! I really enjoyed this story, The behind-the-scenes grit and drama that are covered up by picture-perfect fairy tale weddings. A sweet story of family, clients who become friends, weddings and babies, love, infidelity, drama, hurt, healing, and more love 💕 This book is a little predictable but thoroughly enjoyable.

This book falls in the guidelines of women’s fiction. I’ve really had a hard time with these last few books by Danielle Steel. It seems like the hard hitting emotion that she’s known for is just gone.
After two failed engagements, herself, Faith loves planning weddings, but has no intentions of ever getting married and trying again. Her twin sister Hope, has 3 kids and one more the way. Their lives are very different from each other. As you work your way through the book, you learn about the couples she’s planning weddings for and pick up new friends along the way. Babies are born, new families are created but that doesn’t seem to be Faith’s path until a grooms brother peaks her interest.

Faith Ferguson was a successful wedding planner in New York who found fulfillment in her work and close relationships with her twin sister and assistant. In this novel by Danielle Steel, Faith took on new clients with various wedding sizes and styles, including her mother’s next marriage and a modest ceremony for her assistant. Faith formed bonds with her clients and their loved ones, including the handsome brother of one of her grooms. However, she soon found herself dealing with private quarrels, unplanned pregnancies, family scandals, dark secrets, and the possibility of cancelled ceremonies.

As an avid reader, I was stoked when the publisher provided me a copy of the latest novel of the bestselling author, Danielle Steel. She is a prolific author known for her emotional and engaging stories so I had high hopes in “The Wedding Planner”.

This book had a promising premise, but unfortunately, I found myself struggling to stay engaged with the story and frequently putting the book down. The slow pacing of this book made it difficult for me to get through it. There were a couple of emotional scenes that tugged at my heartstrings, but most of the time, I was struggling to stay focused in the story.

It was no doubt that Faith was an incredible character. She was independent, focused, and hardworking. She was an epitome of a modern intelligent woman. However, I found it difficult to connect with her. There was something missing in the story which I cannot quite put my hands on it but it was almost like observing her life from a distance rather than being fully immersed in her experiences. As a result, I found it hard to care about what happened to her in the story.

Despite these, I do appreciate Steel’s writing style and the way she can create a vivid imagery with her words. Her descriptions of settings and emotions were captivating even if I did not fully enjoy the book as a whole.

Overall, while this book was not for me, I will be trying another work of Danielle Steel. Maybe, I would get on board and enjoy another book written by her.
