The drawings are so aesthetically pleasing! Each drawing really is a beautiful work of art, filled with so much love and care put into each tiniest detail.
The story of the fall coming is super cute also.
This book is so, so beautiful, both pictures and text, it is absolutely perfect.

Adorable children’s book! This is perfect for a bedtime story, and who doesn’t love fall? My little boy loved it when I read it to him.

Great way to introduce the seasonal changes, specifically autumn, to kids. This book also focuses learning about the color red. Fun read with pretty drawings.

Thank you, Netgalley and NorthSouth Books Inc., for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It's perfect!!!

MY THOUGHTS:
📌 The illustration was top notch, even though I'm not a big fan of autumn colors or theme, but I really enjoyed everything in this book.

📌 It's not just a story for fun but also to educate children about the color of a sunset, birds migrate, and bears hibernate when winter comes, etc:

Example:
That night, the little squirrels couldn't wait to tell Mama and Papa about their day.
"The berries are red!" said Mack. "Just like our sweaters."
"The leaves are red!" said Molly. "Just like our sweaters."
"Even the sky is red!" said Mick. "Just like our sweaters."
"That's because winter is coming," said Mama.
"That's because it's fall," said Papa.
"Hooray for fall!" said Mick and Mack and Molly.

📌 Also, the squirrel's family story was touching for me. Parents love, spouses love, and they're taking care of each other. It warms up my heart.

📌 Though it was a short book, I think it is memorable🥰.

Fall is here and the chill is in the air. Mama squirrel has made red sweaters for each of her three little squirrels. At first they weren’t sure about their new red sweaters until they noticed how much red is all around them in nature. This is an adorable celebration of Fall with an adventure for the little squirrels. Beautifully illustrated. I thank Netgalley and NorthSouth Books for the opportunity to read and review this delightful book.

I'm a prek teacher. There were a lot of ideas I could use for school. There was the theme of red. There was the theme of family, and seasons, and animals. You could use this book as a real or make believe story. It was very cute and the illustrations were good too.

“Hooray for Fall!” is the perfect little book to read to your kids once autumn comes.
Mama has knitted red sweaters for her three little squirrels. Feeling handsome with them, the children go outside to find other red things and explore the forest in autumn.
With an innocent simplicity and adorable artwork this little book is sure to fascinate and be a favorite for all family.

The illustrations were cute
The story was cute but I felt that it didn't really go anywhere
It just ended? It felt unfinished....

Such a sweet little story about three little squirrels as they enter into the season of deep fall. I liked how educational it was, in a subtle way. The children reading this will learn about bears hibernating, why the leaves change, and where the birds fly for the winter. Any child of preschool age will love the story and learn a lot. And the illustrations are beautiful.

I like autumn, so this book appeals to me, but I'd like to read the entire story of the three little squirrels. The story and illustrations are both adorable.

Oh, how I love fall. You guys know that autumn is my favorite season, so whenever I find a book that looks like it has some fall vibes I have to give it a look. And this book was just delightful. I love the three squirrel children's excitement at all the color that appears when fall arrives. And the art in here is just so beautiful. Just a fun quick read that gives some nice fall vibes.

Such a warm, cosy feel good read!

It’s the story about a squirrel family with three siblings and their cosy normal life together in their home.

The illustrations give the perfect fall season vibes. The art is stunning.

So much warmth I got reading this cute book!

Thank you, NorthSouth Books Inc, for the advance reading copy.

Mick, Mack, and Molly are back in action. This time, they are exploring fall, and everything seems to be red, just like their sweaters. Mama Squirrel sits all night to knit flaming red sweaters for her little babies. The days are turning cold, and the nights colder. Fall is here, and little squirrels need some warmth, after all!
There really isn’t much to say about the story. The trio goes around the forest, finding red items like berries, leaves, fruits, and the setting sun. They go back home, share the events with their mother, and fall asleep. Mama Squirrel knits a red scarf for Papa Squirrel. The prose is okay; nothing I’ll remember for more than a day.
I grabbed this book mainly for the illustrations. The color scheme here is a blend of browns, oranges, reds, and goldens. Some pages literally glow with golden light and ooze warmth. The greens are here and there, soft and fading into oranges and reds.
I love how the forest feels magical and enticing. The pages inside the squirrels’ home have muted tones with a touch of darkness (to suit their dwellings deep inside tree trunks). I could go on… I absolutely love the illustrations.

To summarize, Hooray for Fall! is a cute little book with no particular goal but has some amazing illustrations. Stay away if you want a moral lesson, but indulge in it if you need a visual experience.
I received an ARC from NetGalley and NorthSouth Books and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a sweet story for young readers. The illustrations and calming storyline remind me of my early childhood books, that touch of nostalgia just warms my heart. I love the inquisitive nature of the main characters and how this book has such a warm color palette in the illustrations.

Absolutely adorable little book for fall! I loved the illustrations as well! What cute little characters. Any little one is going to love this book and it would be good for all of my younger patrons.

If this sweet book looks familiar, it's because it was originally published in 1985, and it's back with some updates, however, the original story and gorgeous autumnal illustrations remain. Nothing speaks to me like the Fall color palette and cozy story. This is top-tier cottagecore in childrens fiction and come late August, I will be reaching for this to share with my kids.

Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with Hooray for Fall! For starters, the color was too monochromatic for my tastes. All I saw was yellow with a splash here and there of red. The illustrations were cute, however.

The story wasn't something to get excited about. And perhaps a rhyming prose would have been better suited for this book.

Too bad I didn't appreciate Hooray for Fall! as much as I wanted to. Two okay stars.

In this adorable story, three little squirrel siblings enjoy discovering the wonders of Fall. Their mama makes them new red sweaters and they can't wait to explore. The illustrations are a charming match with a simple story. Children will love to hear this one read aloud.
