This was such a lovely picture book with whimsical illustrations I absolutely adored and reminded me of the vintage picture book illustrations I loved as a child.. The prose was simple, and I loved all the examples of how the natural world changes during the fall to prepare for winter. Would be a great read for classes or families during the autumn to inspire investigations into what changes are happening in nature around them.

So, so cute! Fall is my favorite season so this one was especially adorable. I would have loved this one as a little girl. I can see kids enjoying reading this with their parents and shouting out about how everything is red. Loved all the little details in the squirrel house and the illustrations were beautiful.

This is a delightfully illustrated, short but sweet children's picture book about a mama squirrel preparing her three little squirrels for fall.

I enjoyed this children's book! I found it adorable & lovely. I liked the characters & it was a pleasant & easy read.

I like the old school detailed style of illustration. It’s a perfect book for getting ready for fall.

I especially liked on certain illustrations how they almost looked illuminated.

A classic picture book with beautiful illustrations and a heartfelt story. Iwamura is an incredible artist who brings such depth to each page with his beautiful watercolors.

This adorable book about three squirrel children will keep everyone engaged. The pictures are beautiful and the story is entertaining. Little ones also learn a little about how animals get read for winter. A great book!!

Hooray for Fall is a sweet story about a squirrel family. The book follows Mick, Mack, and Molly as they go on an adventure. They discover all the different things that start to happen when Fall is coming. The illustrations are engaging and fun. I especially enjoyed the muted colors. It reminded me of books from my childhood.
