I love this series so much! I've read the first book several times as I waited for the second installment to be released, and now that we have a finale, I don't feel ready to say goodbye to these characters or this kooky sci-fi world. I think one of the things Joshua S. Levy does so well is humor, and Last Summer in Outer Space has it in spades. I would wholeheartedly recommend this entire series to both children and adults, and I am dying to see what Levy comes out with next.

Thank you to the publisher and to Netgalley for granting me an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a great science fiction adventure set in a middle school spaceship with 8th graders as the heroes, whose mission is to save the world. It is the third in a series (which I have not read), so I have missed some of the backstory. Despite that, the story was engaging and exciting with great snarky middle school character interaction, which reminded me of Rick Riordan's books. The writing was very accessible to a middle grade audience. There was good representation among the characters, including a character with they/them pronouns, which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend this series to the young readers who come to my bookstore!

this was a great conclusion to the Adventures of the PSS 118 series, it had everything that I was hoping for. I've enjoyed how good this series was and thought this worked well as a conclusion. It had what I enjoyed from Joshua S. Levy, and it had the same great writing style. The characters have been consistent throughout and I'm glad I got to read this series.
