What a fun read! I loved seeing this group of girls get to together and do witchy things. Each character was distinct and despite being so different, they meshed really well. The art style felt fitting and pretty cozy too. This book is perfect for the spooky season and I enjoyed the twist at the end!

An interesting premise, with fun elements, but a lackluster execution. The twist ending was interesting and I would read a continuation of the story if one came out - but I was mostly underwhelmed by this one. The art is nice and the drama is high, but the pacing feels off.

As a fan of The Craft, the movie, this was that but softer and in graphic novel. It was really good, It's a very quick read and one that will keep you hook from start to finish. I absolutely loved the friendship showed. They all seem close and it almost made me wish I had 3 friends to do magic spells with. I think this is the perfect reading for spooky vibes. I wanted to stop and read it during October but It was impossible to put down. I needed to know how it ended asap.
The one thing that I didn't like is that in one frame the show the bigger girl behind the other 3 while going up a hill and it didn't settle well with me.

This is a fun read for all the fans of Buffy and all the 90's teen-witches-in-training series. Nothing groundbreaking but rather felt like an homage to the genre, a decent adventure with some really creepy parts, a lot of familiar tropes. I really liked the plenty of easter egg references to other witchy or horror or fantasy movies.

It was an interesting twist on the genre though to have the girls already familiar with witchcraft and also having been friends for a long time, so coming up with a ritual felt all natural to them, even though until the beginning of this story it had never get any real. I think it's quite fitting for the contemporary setting as nowadays witchcraft is getting quite mainstream.

I was happy to see some difficult situations handled and discussed and reflected on well on page.

I think the art style needs some development though, it feels like the illustrator hasn't found their style yet. Also, I felt conflicted about the palette, often I felt no harmony but some pages do look amazing. Also, sometimes the perspective seemed off even though the artist used variable angles very often and a lot of times nailed it so I was confused whenever they didn't. I really liked the pages that separated the chapters and the representation of the goddesses during the ritual were amazing, like I'd-have-them-tattooed-on-me amazing, so it's clear that the artist has talent and skill. Also, there were some really creative panel structures.

I recommend this to anyone who craves for a funny teen witches adventure or just looking for a light read for spooky season.

This is a very accessible graphic novel, that is exciting and that features diverse characters that teen readers will appreciate. I really liked the way it was told: in flashback for most of the plot and then the plot picks up in lenear progression right before the climax. That gave it a cinematic element that will interest teens. The novel ends on a note that suggests there will be other installments that follow the group of girls, the coven. I enjoyed it, and it was an extremely fast read. The art was amazing!

This book tells us about four friends who, with a mission to save a tree, decide to do a magic ritual to save it, what they don't know was what they were about to enter and what it was going to unleash.
This was an easy to read and highly entertaining story that even has its touches of horror.
I loved the 4 main characters, their friendship with each other, but what surprised me was that I liked their individual side stories (some with more presence and prominence) and I enjoyed them and how it affected their friendship and I really devoured this story because it was so captivating and enjoyable.
I liked the role of magic and all this parallelism to the craft, i'm a sucker of it.
I don't know, in general it was a graphic novel that despite not being very long, it covered a lot of history and there was development and everything, I want to continue reading about them, in a few pages I loved

I really enjoyed this graphic novel! It reminded me of shows like Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, but it also took me back to those witchy Disney films like Twitches and Halloweentown. It really had those cozy witchy vibes!!! 🍂🧙‍♀️

It felt like there was an intention to create a visual identity to each one of the characters, which compliments each of their personalities so well, helps in the characters' building process, and adds so much to the story as this is a graphic novel!

Fall is coming and the spooky season is right around the corner, so do consider giving this one a try. You’ll love it! 🍁🎃

A phenomenal mystery graphic novel! I really enjoyed reading about this group and their well intentioned adventures! I will recommend this to teen graphic novel enthusiasts and just teens in general.

A fun, dark graphic based around female friendships and witchcraft. Gorgeous illustrations are throughout the graphic and this is perfect are you are starting yo explore comics and graphic novels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this graphic novel. Between the style of art and the witchy girl group content I was truly living my best reader life. As a woman who grew up in the 90s/ early00s and LIVED for shows like Buffy, Charmed, and of course- the craft- this really was everything I needed.

This comic follows to some what may seem- from the outside- a group of girls who don't fit together. But in reality they share a bond stronger than high school stereotyping can convey. The girls are so diverse in culture, sexual orientation, and in "social groups" but instead of driving them apart it makes the stronger with each woman bringing a unique and important perspective and knowledge to the coven.

Combine all of that with a thrilling demon story, some stranger things-esque world coloring, and dialogue that flows so seamlessly it never feels stale and you have a perfect combo for success. I can't wait to see what else happens to our FMCs on their journey.

I thought I would have enjoyed this more as a girl who grew up with the likes of Buffy and The Craft. I felt that the story was a little shallow. I enjoyed the characters and the art work was good for an indy comic.

This graphic novel is definitely for fans of "The Craft" or witch content in general. Being in a friend group isn't easy when there is conflict. In the case of this graphic novel, the girls are able to come together over their mutual love of a tree in their small town. I think if you are looking for something heavily focused on the magic, this novel might not be for you. However, if you enjoy a story about navigating friendship and love then this will be up your alley.

Eve, Diane, Lily and Morgane are old friends who reunite to save a beloved elm tree. They use witchcraft to save the tree but mistakenly summon the Demon of Chaos. The friends are now responsible for fixing the chaos. It's an interesting and involved friendship story.

3.5 stars - A fun witchy-themed graphic novel told through stunning artwork and featuring four MC's who each have their own distinct personalities! I really appreciate that there was LGBTQIA+, larger bodied, and BIPOC representation too - we love to see ALL the diversity!

It did seem like the creators pulled from modern teen classics; Pop's Diner from Riverdale can be seen in the background and the four best friend's that are rekindling their friendship in high school gave strong Pretty Little Liars vibes. While this is a cute nod to those fandoms, I would've liked this to remain totally original.

Even though I don't have any outright negative thoughts surrounding this graphic novel there also isn't anything strongly pulling me towards a higher rating. If you're looking for a fast & fun read this will definitely provide that! (And here's hoping this becomes a series to get to know the entire coven better!)

This book had an interesting enough storyline, and a fantastic colour palette. However, it just didn’t feel quite ready for publication. Every element of the novel was slightly below the quality I would expect from a published work. This extends to the writing, pacing, art, character development, and overall plot. It had a good idea at its core, but just needed some more time and training on the part of the creators. I do hope they keep working, because I believe there was so much promise shown across the board.
