🧐 my thoughts:
This was extremely well written. I loved the rom com aspect of this book, as well as how in depth the character were.

👌🏻what i liked:
I’ve never been much for the books about authors, but I’ve been surprised with a few good ones recently, and this is one of them! Also, how can you not like a book with a dog as the best friend?! I loved the secondary characters, they really added to the story.

🙃 what i didn’t like:
The final conflict… If you know, you know…

🥰 special thanks

I recently had the opportunity to listen to Accidental Attachment by Max Monroe and I loved it. Narrated by Joe Arden and CJ Bloom, we get a fun slow burn romance that had me smiling. Chase and Brooke were traveling and working together while Brooke crushed on him, as she has for a while. I enjoyed their witty banter and connection so much. I laughed and swooned while listening.

Happy listening!

Max Monroe writes such fun romances, so I was excited to get this audiobook from net galley! I listened to this one in a few days and really loved the premise! The heroine is a writer who is in a rut, so she writes fan fiction of her and her new editor. She's not happy with her normal genre and the story she is working on, but she has to turn it in. Accidentally, though, she sends her editor her fan fiction and not her normal work. And he loves it. The publisher decides to send her on tour, but she can't go on a plane because of her medical condition (she has an adorable service dog too!), so she goes on a bus tour and her editor volunteers to drive so they can work while they travel. He's determine to make her new book a hit, but he doesn't expect to fall so hard in the process. Like I said, this was such a fun and cute premise and I loved the forced proximity! I also love books that take place in the book world, so this just had so many elements that I loved! I'm so happy I picked this one up!

I really enjoyed this book. For me it had a slow start, however once it picked up, it kept me engaged and wanting to know what happens. The ending is pretty predictable, but what do you expect from a contemporary romance? Very sweet, and a nice light read.

First off, I love narration by CJ, Bloom and Joe Arden- they really make the characters come off the page. This is a sweet story about an author accidentally sending her editor a fan fiction romance between her and him instead of her fantasy book. What unfolds is him helping her get this book published and a rv roadtrip across country for a Netflix tour with her pup in tow. Simply cuteness overload.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the audio version. The cover is very pretty.
The story itself was okay. I didn't really love it. But if you are looking for a romantic rom com read you might want to check this out.

Accidental Attachment, Brooke and Chase traveling from town to town for her new hit book left me want more. Do I care that her fur buddy gets a friend NO! Did not contribute to the plot line for the amount of times it was brought up. Not enough of a plot line to carry these two for a 25 minute epilogue.

Thanks NetGalley for the advance listen.

Absolutely loved this book! It had me laughing out loud so many times I lost count. I loved that she was an author and wrote about her crush. The slow burn was perfect as well.

Loved the concept of this book. A writer and her editor? Super cute. And I liked it, it was fun, and sweet. But it didn't need to be this long. It was still good and I had a great time tho

I absolutely enjoyed listening to this audiobook! I love all things bookish, so when you tell me that you have a rom-com about an author and an editor, with the added bonus of a service dog, you have my interest piqued. This slow-burn romance begins with a hilariously awkward meet-cute and continues with a comical RV book tour across the country, where Chase and Brooke are stuck sharing very tight quarters. The chemistry between them is sizzling. Chase is the best kind of cinnamon roll, sweet guy. He says and does all of the right things. He is the perfect mix for Brooke's awkward quirkiness. Their back-and-forth banter and relationship development felt authentic and very entertaining. If you are a slow-burn romance and close proximity fan, you must read this book! It incorporates everything you could ever want in a romance novel.

🎧️The narration of this novel, performed by CJ Bloom and Joe Arden, was outstanding. I enjoyed how they were able to bring the personalities of Brooke and Chase to life through my headphones. I highly recommend this audiobook!! It was a great listen!

Thank you, @netgalley and @authormaxmonroe, for the opportunity to listen to this delightful audiobook!

This was such a fun and refreshing read. I loved the writing style and the humour sprinkled in throughout. I am familiar with this author duos work and was pleasantly surprised with the little cameos of other characters from their worlds mixed in here. I really enjoyed the romance and the characters of this story including the four legged kind.

The audio narration was clear and a joy to listen to.

Can't wait to see what comes next.

This one is sweet, cute, quirky and hilarious.

It’s definitely unique idea of how these characters get thrown together, and it was so much fun.

Chase is swoony, Brooke is hilarious and has the best side kick service dog. It was a slow burn, instalove, forced proximity type situation which I quite enjoyed!

This was adorable. I had forgotten how funny this author is. The female MC is quirky and I loved her and the male MC is now one of my fav book boyfriends. The romance was beautiful and I loved the fate elements thrown into it. They were meant to be and I believed that by the end of the book.

This book took me entirely too long to read. I had the book and the audiobook and couldn't quite get into either one. The characters were likeable but it was so repetitive and with being over 500, it definitely could use some extreme editing. This was my first Max Monroe book but I'm not writing them off yet. I've heard so many great reviews of their books that I will give another one a shot. Unfortunately this one just didn't do it for me.

Thank you to NetGalley, Max Monroe and publishers for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I didn’t expect this book to be this good but it was.

This story was so funny, I don’t count how many times I've laugh. Thanks to Joe Arden and CJ Bloom’s voices this book was incredible.

Brooke is a writer who have a contract with Netflix for her two first books of her series, but they want an other book. As she didn’t have the inspiration for her series she wrote an other story and send it by mistake to her editor, Chase. It can’t be this bad but the fact is that the book she has send is a fictive love story about Chase and her, but he don’t know that. Unfortunately for her he love it and now there is no turning back, add to that she’ll have to do a promotion tour for the release of her Netflix’s series around the country. They’ll have to share a small space…

I loved this story so much, the narrators were amazing and succeeded to bring the feelings ou from the characters.
Brooke was so funny and I like her relationship she has with her dog Ben.
Chase wants to prouve to his boss that he can publish Brooke’s new book. I love the bond he share with his sister, it was also hilarious. Just thinking about about when Chase's sister is sending texts to him or when she's talking to him, makes me wanna laugh again. She’s so incredibily funny.

Well I don’t know if you understood but this book was so worth it, and I recommend it. So go on and have it.
