This wasn't for me. I stopped and started this book so many times. The writing was disjointed and off. The characters was annoying and unlikable. I'm sure there's a good story in there somewhere, I wasn't the target audience.

Matt Maxwell does a great job in creating a good horror novel, it had a great tense and spooky atmosphere going on throughout it. I enjoyed how good everything blended together and I enjoyed the characters in this world. It left me wanting more in this universe and from the author.

I sent a review copy of this title to my Kindle from the NetGalley dashboard and found the text to be completely unreadable withthetextsmooshedtogetherlikethis and with letters even overlapping in many areas. It's clear there was no effort made at quality control to ensure the formatting was done properly and the end result is an illegible mess. Unfortunately, I can't read this at all.
