Cute, funny, wholesome, and loveable Artstyle. I had a good couple laughs with this one. Don't have kids but I got younger siblings and most of these are totally relatable.

This was awesome. Not surprising since I love the Litterbox Instagram too.

There were definitely some comics that I recognized, but there were also all the extra stuff (liked the intros a lot) too which was cool.

And, of course, the straight up unapologetic nerdiness was so much fun.

Very funny with lovely drawings.
I don’t regularly read graphic novels or comic books but I have seen these online and looked forward to reading the whole book.
The jokes had me laughing out loud at times and though I am not a parent I could still see the humour in the situations and that they are likely very familiar to parents reading this.
The cartoon style is consistent throughout and reflects the characters well showing the different characteristics of each one.
Highly recommend, very funny.

I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I have a total of zero children, but I still found this comic very entertaining and relatible. It reminds me of texts I get from my parent friends and it's just fun seeing them illustrations

I made a mistake downloading this, because this was just very much not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, just faaar outside of my realm of interest. I did download it, because I was hoping the cat cartoons would be cute, but I didn't find them particularly funny or refreshing.

I am recommending this to all my parent friends. It was so cathartic and hilarious. Absolutely so real. I felt seen.

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for this arc.

Put this in all your baby shower baskets

Now, if you’re getting this book, I think there’s a damn good chance it’s because you already know and love the series. Chesca Hause has been putting the claw on the pulse of parenting and cat behavior for a few years, and has amassed quite a little following. This book collects those comics, plus a few which have yet to come out. I actually read this one a month or so ago, and have since seen a few of the unreleased comics appear on the official Facebook page, so it is a little glimpse at what is to come.

Although, by release date, I wonder if all the comics will have appeared online…hmm.

There’s no art update for the oldest strips, but there hasn’t been a huge art jump, either. The characters are a bit less angular, perhaps a bit simpler, but you could flip from firs page to last and still recognize them easily.

This is a good gift pick for gamers/nerds who are ALSO parents. The childfree, even if they’re cat lovers and gamers, probably wouldn’t be so interested, since the parenting content is the main focus. It’s parenting while nerdy, not nerds who also happen to be gamers.

Also, a great way to support the artist! Keep the Litterbox coming!

I can not tell you how many times while reading this I showed it to my husband. This is a cute quick comic series that as a parent to young children will make you feel seen but also help you find the humor in this crazy/chaotic stage of parenting.

I have followed this on Twitter for awhile so when I saw there was going to be a full book I already preordered from my local comic shop. I am so excited and couldn't wait. The art is adorable and I swear they have cameras in my house it was so relatable.

Litterbox Comics is finally jumping off of the internet and into this hilarious comic! I’ve been a long time follower of Chesca Hause and her hilarious take on family life, in a world where each family is a different type of animal. The main characters, a family of cats, face different problems and hijinks, including and not limited to the glamorous life of the parents of newborns, expectations versus reality on your child's personality, the hilarious interactions between siblings all with a dose of the animal world to add an extra twist of fun.
I recommend this book to parents, cat lovers and anyone looking for a great slice of life comic

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The book is written both for kids and adults. The adorable art work and lots of poop jokes made it very appealing for my kid, while the sense of humour made me grin.

My only concern about the book is it containts full on swear words, which made reading out loud a bit tough.

Being a person is weird: as an adult, you can sometimes forget that at one time, you didn’t know how to use a fork, or the toilet! But little kids remind us that everything we know now, we had to learn, usually from our exhausted parents who, like us kids, were looking forward to their favorite snack or show or video game. Chesca Hause’s webcomic focuses on day to day life with her husband and sons...drawn as an adorable feline family.

Between trying to moderate screen time, answer endless kid questions, and just get some sleep, Fran and Joel are determined to raise their kids Vincent and Cooper right, which means knowing the difference between Ultron and Voltron, Cooper! Whether you love and live with cats, kids, or both, this collection of relatable tales will delight Litterbox Comics fans old and new.

This little comic reminds me of Baby Blues by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott.
Silly, funny family stuff. The love/hate relationship new parents have with their newborns, and really giving up trying to maintain any kind of order in the house after the second kid is born.

I like that it's drawn with cats. Cats really make it better.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC of "Parenting Is Weird: Tails from the Litterbox" in exchange for an honest review!

I've been seeing these comics strips about parenting pop up on my Instagram many times, and always find them hilarious. So when I saw the ARC available through Netgalley I had to request it and was lucky to get my request granted.

The comic is about family and the many struggles of parenting and is a hilarious read. I'd definitely recommend, especially for parents. But also for anyone, just to laugh at the many struggles you've probably put you parents through.

Super cute! An easy read that can be ready in one sitting. Not too much depth but there are cats, so 4 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an arc.

This was so cute! All of this short little comics depicting a life of parents living their day to day life with small children as cats is amazing. You can tell how much love the author put into this and how much came from real experiences. I loved the little snippets of text you get in between the chapters. Such a fun comic! Highly recommend!

Never have I felt more seen as a parents I did with these images of the feline persuasion. Parenting is hard. Finding a way to draw and describe day to day life may be difficult, but Hause hit it out of the park! This is a great book for anyone embarking on the toddler years. Newborn parents may not be ready for the realities described in this book. Thoroughly enjoyed this book!

This is such a cute book on parenting. It shows an honest portrayal of parenthood, made cute by featuring cats. I liked how there was chapter on the just the couple without the kids. There's also animal based humour, which was interesting. Although I read a digital copy, a printed version would have been better since each chapter title had a flipper where you flip the pages for an animated effect. Recommended!

An absolutely relatable and hilarious read. I love the antics of this kitty family and was so glad to get an advanced copy of this book. Every last bit of it was relatable from the random things kids shout in public to the pop culture dousing. Utterly delightful.

The best parent book I have ever read. The humor mixed with the beautiful yet fun illustrations just immediately took me by suprise. But don't let the adorable nature of the book fool you, it is absolutely a war journal. Having a little demon toddler myself, I am in the depths of that war myself. As depicted in the book, parenting is both amazing as well as chaotic. It is the most wonderful soul crushing endeavour.

The story itself is presented in short comic sets that depict moments from paranting life. Reminiscent of a mix between Confessions of a Texan in Tokyo meets Go to Sleep (I miss you). There was also an interactive and fun elements (flippers, baby bingo, word search, draw by number). Fantastic! Brought me back to Captain Underpants days as a kid myself. Everything about this book felt like perfection. A full on laugh out loud, constantly giggling experience.
