This was a beautiful, evocative, sensuous collection. The poems tell a cohesive story, and draw you through from page to page with vivid imagery. Each poem provokes an emotional response of some kind. Definitely a poetry collection that will linger with me, and I'll be re-reading over and over again.

I enjoyed these poems a lot. The author, Senai Asar, challenged the ideas of mermaids and sirens in a way that rewrites our very concepts of them. They wrote as if quoting the mythical creatures’ words. It was a very pleasant reading experience.

I have always wondered what Sirens and Mermaids would think about or even talk about. Well, I guess I don't have wonder anymore. This book of poetry does that for me and they are beautifully written. I swear the author was a siren herself but I know they are myths. She wrote those poems as if she was the character. They are beautiful and you can even feel the emotions when you read it. Its a must read if you like poetry.

I got a free copy of the book and is voluntarily writing a review
